- Hey Everyone! In this fun scroll saw project video I do my 3econd ever Segmentation scroll saw piece and bring you along on the journey! This Steve Good design uses a piece of 3/4 inch material (oak for me) and the image depicts the The True Meaning Of Christmas which is the Nativity Scene. Hope you all like the video!
The pattern was designed by Steve Good and is avaliable as a FREE pattern download at his website;

very cool little project
Thank You!
Nice work once again.
Thank you! Cheers!
I really should try this pattern by Steve. You did a beautiful job!!! It looks great!!! Up until a few years ago, I would buy my wife a Nativity set or two or three for Christmas. I even brought some back from Spain, Guam, Iceland, and Crete. I have lost count on the number she has. We have been together for 51 years, married for 48...a lot of sets. I stopped buying them because she said she just can't set them all up. But, this is one I could make for her to have hanging all year round. Thanks for the show! Take care!
Thank You! And thank you for the amazing story!
Great channel and awesome vibe brother. Merry Christmas.
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Awesome work
Thank You!
Beautiful piece! You mentioned gaps due to the blade kerf. Isn't the purpose of segmentation to create gaps between the pieces? It seems like there are no visible gaps due to the kerf. Not to me anyway! Great job, as always! Thanks!
Well to a point yes. However a smaller blade would have reduced gaps even more
try using clear removable shelf paper it works great easy to remove and it lubes the blade
Thanks for the tip! I'll just stick with my packing tape method, the oils in the tape also lubes the blade
Beautiful job. I need to pick up one of those sanding tools. Sure beats holding a big Dremel in your hand for small sanding.
Thanks for the great video. 👍
Thank you! And yes, it's a tool I use more and more often
Looks great. I could not find pattern at steve site.
I found it ,Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus segmentation scroll saw pattern, 👀
It is a newer design
Love the video... I don't see this pattern on Steve's website is there another way of getting this pattern??? Thanks!
Thank You! It is on there I assure you, he released it and a snowman segmentation pattern last Christmas
Incredible work, as per usual!
Perhaps I missed it in the video but would you be willing to share which sanding tool you used to soften the edges?
I only used a small Dremel sanding drum to do what I did in the video. Sorry I forgot to mention it
@@ArtisanPirate Sorry! I meant the plug in Dremel-looking tool! For some reason I thought you said it was a different brand than Dremel and you liked it because it held the device and all of the sanding heads at the same time!
@@MichaelSchlecht91 he says its a marathon rotary tool..😁👍
I’m new to scroll sawing and new to the channel I’ve been watching a lot of your videos great information and just followed your Instagram
Welcome aboard! Happy to help in any way! I also followed your instagram as well!
Really good AP 👍. Looks great.
It's probably too fiddly for me, but I appreciate your time and skills bringing it to us.
I appreciate that!
