People learn to read. You don't get the pattern for free you buy it on his Esty. Great job and hope these people learn to read and buy your projects...
Might work with Degas blades. The issue might be accuracy, as the blade will have a tendency to drift when pushed too hard, too fast or in dense wood, like maple etc.
you simply drill a very small hole inside the portion you want to remove. Remove your blade from the saw and put it through the drill hole and re-attach to the saw and begin cutting.
Mr. Alex, this inlay is really a masterpiece, so delicate and impressive, thanks for your expertise teaching. Just a question, what site did you get this drawing patterns?, I´ll appreciatte your help.
Très belle réalisation. J'aime le bois. Le seul hic il faut une scie à chamtourner mécanique, que je ne possède pas ! Et faire avec une scie manuelle cela prend beaucoup de temps.
fishtank5050 Yeah I know about that, its just when using wood that thin ,it is easy to stack cut with two pieces of different colors. Either way is ok, I just prefer not to use stains or paint.
Alex, when making these projects, how much is the video sped up by? 2x? Just curious to see how fast you actually cut. I've had a hard time judging my speed while working, both of the saw blade and how I move the wood. Thanks.
I use glue "88" of ukrainian production (instruction: apply glue on both surfaces , wait about 5-10 minutes untill glure dry (recommended, but not necessary), squeeze the glued surfaces), someone wrote that similar glue in USA calls Contact cement
Sorry, I thought you asked about glue. For patterns I use self-adhesive paper "Crystal" - it is very comfortabe - you can use usual printer to print pattern
Sorry for commenting on such an old video, but what kind of blade and size did you use here? I just got into scrolling and I'd love to do projects like this, but I think my blade is too thick to really make this work.
Hi, almost for all my projects (3-6 mm thickness of wood) I use Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades, #1 allows to make sharp corners and accurate cuts
I use glue "88" of ukrainian production. It is universal glue for wood, plastic, rubber and ceramic. Someone wrote that similar glue in USA calls Contact cement
Very nice. I agree with the earlier comment of using two different coloured woods stacked together. That way you get two for the price of one. One small suggestion, turn your music off in the background when you know you are going to speed up the showing of the process.
Why not do two at a time and cover each one with iron on veneer. Just iron on the veneer and save the paint process. Some beautiful veneer out there. Later
In this video I use Jet JSS-16, now I have Pegas 16CE. Blades - Flying Dutchman ultra reverse #1. Wood - birch plywood 4 mm. Glue - calls "88" (ukrainian production, universal glue for wood, rubber, plastic, glass). Paper - self adhesive paper (sticker paper) "Crystal". I hope this informtion wil be usefull for you
Hello, my city (Kherson) is occupied by the Russian military, it is quiet now, but sometimes explosions are heard outside the city, I have stocks of food and essential goods

Beautiful idea, thank you for the inspiration
Thanks for watching
Very nicely made, love the bevelled edges, gives it bit more depth.
Nice thick varnish, what brand/type may I ask?
Thanks, I made this project years ago, and I dont remember what brand I used
Отличная идея! Очень добрая поделка! :) Клей-88 порадовал ;))
Спасибо за видео, удачи Вам в творчестве!

Real nice work.
Thanks
pretty neat i will have to make one for my son who has a cat
Thanks for watching
Super cool and beautyfull
Thanks
nice work, have you thought about 2 different types of wood, stacked during the scroll saw process?
Might work with Degas blades. The issue might be accuracy, as the blade will have a tendency to drift when pushed too hard, too fast or in dense wood, like maple etc.
Very nice Alex ☺
Thanks

Thanks for watching, unfortunately I don't have such dog pattern
@@AlexFoxScrollsaw i am going to attempt a design tomorrow with roses ; first big challenge as a newby on scroll saw
This is very cool. I just subscribed. Im thinking of getting a scroll saw. Any recommendations.
Hi, it depends on your budget, I use Pegas 16CE. If you can afford it - do not hesitate, I think it is one of the best scroll saws
@@AlexFoxScrollsaw thank you.
I think that's awesome 😊
Thanks
Now what do you do with it? Maybe a coaster ???
Glue it on top of a box?
You can use it as a trivet
Pretty darn nifty.. I have and use a scroll saw, but lack the patience for tight corners and such..
Why did you not show the more difficult cuts, the eyes, whiskers, ears. It would have been nice to see how you got the blade in there to cut.
Because you don't deserve it
you simply drill a very small hole inside the portion you want to remove. Remove your blade from the saw and put it through the drill hole and re-attach to the saw and begin cutting.
Amazing and beautiful work. Do you remember what brand and type of blades you were using? Pinned or unpinned?
Hi, I use only unpinned blades, I dont remember which exactly I used, but now I use Flying Dutchman ultra reverse blades #1
Nice work! how did you do the moustache and the nose of the cats?
Hi, I cut it the same way as other - I used small drill and blade
Bello 😍😍👏
Thanks

Alex, Is this design still in your etsy shop as I could not see it
Hi, write your email and I will send it, or write to me alexscrollsaw@gmail.com
Very nice
Nice piece. I am just curios why you chose to paint it, rather than using two different types of wood ?
I like using stain + when I was making it I had only birch plywood
MikeHunt I think that because it was cut from one piece the two parts will fit back together better..
fishtank5050, yes it is one more reason for using stain instead two types of wood
fishtank5050 Yeah I know about that, its just when using wood that thin ,it is easy to stack cut with two pieces of different colors. Either way is ok, I just prefer not to use stains or paint.
MikeHunt that's a cool idea. You wouldn't like my work on here I've done with a router..kingfisher, koi carp.ive painted my wood..lol
hermoso tu trabajo 😁
Nice..can i paste your projects Alex..

Usually I speed up by 2x
( Eric Van Zipper) The same way you get to Carnegie Hall : Practice... (Pretty work)
What kind of glue did you use to stick the pattern onto the wood ??
I use glue "88" of ukrainian production (instruction: apply glue on both surfaces , wait about 5-10 minutes untill glure dry (recommended, but not necessary), squeeze the glued surfaces), someone wrote that similar glue in USA calls Contact cement
