Use the cardboard box in the bottom for a base it will eventually compost use thick layers of cardboard 🌼🌺 yes we use them here and they work well.🌼🌺Just started teaching my 11 yr old neighbour to start seedling so I purchased a smaller raised bed for him so he can learn to keep them going and had it together in a jiffy.ALDI sells them here He was so excited 🌼🌺🌼🌺

I am so fortunate. My son made me a "square" C shaped garden bed out of cement bricks. I can get into the middle of it for easy reach on the three sides. It will never rot, blow over or collapse. It will be here much longer than I will be.😊

It's on my list to purchase. My husband is scheduled for another skin cancer surgery. He's 80 and too many times under anesthesia is not good. He's a sroke survivor, and raised bed gardening will give him great joy with use of one arm.

You are just rude. If you have better ways, maybe think about starting your own channel and stop watching those that don’t meet your standards. This family is here to help others and this raised bed is sponsored by its maker, so it is beyond my understanding why anyone would feel the need to be condescending and rude/mean. I never make comments like this but I think a lot of this family and don’t feel they deserve remarks such as yours. Yours are not going to benefit anyone. If you were genuinely interested in helping you would lose the attitude.
What is the purpose of having the not so high Rosengarten box. You still have to lean over it❤😊

Those types of metal raised beds popular here now. Last year we bought timber raised beds like troughs/ mangers which make it easier for me to manage now with limited mobility. Will look out for metal alternative though. Makes sense doesn’t it. Thanks for your vlog. Bernice UK
I put cardborad under my raised bed, is wood, 4 x 2 x 2 ❤ (new to this gardening stuff! )

Id definitely put cardboard in the bottom first,thats what i did,then i set the beds on top of it n filled it full of leaves branches grass n the dirt on top so i didnt spent alot on dirt,it helped sooooo much.
That noise would drive me insane.

These are very neat and handy . my grandma had these for vegetables and flowers .. It made harvesting so much easier for her when she got older . She also had a couple in her chicken coop for nesting ... I can't wait to see what you guys do with your lend guards . enjoyed ! Thumbs up !!

I think it is a great idea to replace the wood raised gardens with the metal ones! Once the summer kitchen is done maybe you can invest in that next!! And it will keep the free range poultry out of the garlic beds!! Win/Win!!
I found this not interesting. Note I never said it was boring but I will. It was boring. Why don't you show us how you fill them.
Also if you mow the grass and collect grass clippings then use them as mulch. Your garden seems to have a lot of weeds. By the way I put together 5 of those beds together as stabilise for fruit trees. Not rocket science.
