@@susangrote3633 Yay!! Thank you so very much, Susan! :)
i wish they were in Canada
Pro tip*** I found out that Aldi has their clearance meat set out first thing in the morning at 50% off.
Thank you for that.
I look forward to these shopping videos every week and have really changed the way I shop because of you! Shopping this way has also allowed me to increase the amount of food in my storage pantry. I am so grateful to you Janice!
miss janice perhaps you should change names of this series of videos to home economics ? as in a subsection as many people need this type of education .. many schools my area do not even off home ec as curriculum . same with shop class perhaps sean could do shop class videos ?
You are doing great Janice! We have all increased our grocery budget because prices are so high, even shopping all the sales! Great job as always!
I commented on a video 8 months ago if u can find it read it it’s about your wonderful kids which means they have wonderful parents !!! So many ppl could take a page no… a chapter out of your book doll !!! Bless y’all from this Canadian girl!!!
I love your show. I learn so much. I was excited when you said Sarah was going to pickle watermelon rind. I bought some at an Amish store and enjoyed it so much. I will never put it in jars like you do Sarah. I have never done that but I could just make a little for a treat. Great Job Sarah. Sorry I don’t know everyone’s names but when I saw your son testing pancakes with a toothpick I was grateful for that trick. I’m 75 and still learning. Thanks all. God Bless.
I began watching your grocery hauls just a few months ago ago. Up until then I was only shopping WalMart for delivery. I have joined the Boost club at Kroger for a small monthly cost and get free delivery. I have saved money shopping for only sale items . Thank you so much for sharing !!
Hit the Kroger after work yesterday and scooped up my 5 cartons of those 18-count eggs.!!😃
Egg prices are crazy high. That Kroger deal is great. Since my budget has been drastically reduced with my husband passing away, I am using even more of your tips. My daughter and I are really enjoying your videos and learn something new with each video we watch.
Laura, I'm so glad that these videos have been a help to you as you grieve and adjust to life without your husband there. Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind comment. Sending love to you! :)
I love your hauls you’re such a wise shopper! Your family eats great and you save money
Janice I feel the same way. I don’t want to up the budget. So I try to find all the mark downs and best deals to keep us going. I truly enjoy this channel and that you are sharing your sweet life with us. May Hod continue to bless you.
That Dollar Tree milk is GREAT !!! I actually need to restock this myself. !! Great haul !! Thanks 🙏 for sharing !!!
@@tinkerdee5923 I thought it was going to be terrible but do you know what that stuff is good and I bought two of them for 50 cents a piece
i have two kids going to work every week one helping around the house and one in grade 12 doing her studies we god people like you
I shop weekly because of you showing me the sales. Thank you for that. Have a wonderful weekend.
Ok shhh I watched a unboxing 1and2. Did anyone else see what I saw !!!!! By heart goes to Sam he’s so quiet and it seemed even if a gift he could use like a adapter or a charger it was passed to his brother or dad and every other gift with was far and few between wasn’t something for him !!!! He gracefully passed it along but come on broke my heart !!! Sam ! Your a good young man !! Maybe next time put sams name on something for the young man please ppl !!!
god always guides the way some how he will look after every one here watching these videos
Yippee. Grandson did a screenshot of the Kroger egg coupon sale and my store again matched the sale!! I think the manager feels sorry for me- an old lady on social security but still got ‘em. Gotta love them markdown bargains
this good stuff i wispering to you i trying more home made cooking like you we all trying to learn how to cook
I think you are doing a really darn job with your budget
Hi Janice and family,
Way to go on the grocery haul! You never know what can happen and you do super well. Will be stopping at Aldi soon!
Thank you
💙
I’ve been doing the same Janice, I keep a running inventory of what u have on hand and I let the meat sales tell me what we are buying that week. Still spending too much money but I have 3 grown men to feed! I know you know that feeling!
Man, you did great on your sales, Janice. I wished that we could get those great deals here in Canada. I am just looking at the Sobeys flyer. There are a few specials. However, not as much as you guys can get.
Also what a great and hilarious picture of David at the end!
Terrific video! Thank you, Janice. God bless you all! ❤
Just goes to show: with forethought, homework and footwork, no matter what the situation, saving can happen. Fantastic work, "mama".
Yay Janice, so thrilled you were able to take advantage of German week at Aldi, that makes me happy!
Claudia, you made me smile! :)
Great savings. Janice. I think the majority of people are making sure we are well stocked for whatever could happen in the next few months❤
I'm not worried about what's going to happen in the next few months but I have been a person that has stocked up for many years.
@@debbieframpton3857 Obviously, Janice is very well stocked all the time, and I am too. It doesn’t hurt to add to our pantry with everything that is at stake.
Tried out the Kroger digital coupons for the first time today and am shocked at how much I was able to save on the cheese, eggs, and grapes! Thanks so much for your channel!
I used to do bulk grocery shopping once or twice a month but am learning these days (through channels like yours) that shopping the loss leader sales each week is way more cost effective.
Very exciting to catch these amazing deals and stock up on things my family regularly eats!!!
I look forward to seeing your video each week and how much you save!
Thanks to you, I have now added Aldi's to my regular shopping!
The prices are good. I’m in Australia and the latest joke is- “I never thought I’d be strong enough at my age (73) to carry $100 worth of food with one hand.” 😅😊
Yes! Eggs are crazy expensive right now!
Janice, I'm so excited I went to Kroger yesterday, I joined the boost program,,my savings was 152.00 ,my price was 159.00 . I got 5 - of sugar 99 cents each ,5 - 5lb bags of flour ,with was just a sample ❤❤❤❤
That is AMAZING!!! I'm so very excited for you, Terry! :)
Great grocery haul, lots of great deals. Thanks for sharing.
i like watching your videos
Love your videos. Since watching your grocery hauls I have tryed to adopt your shopping methods to my budget. Unfortuately, I don't have any discount grocery stores but still showing some savings. Thank you.
Yep! Bought my limit of five on both the eggs and cheese at Kroger! You can’t beat that price. I about croaked when I saw how cheap the eggs were on sale for this week!
god gave me 4 kids all unplanned because i met my husband at 19 and 2 of my kids got jobs know and they helped them self out and my other son helping around the house like your kids and when my daughter done school she has decided to try going to our local college my dad native so that makes us meti and we get special money for school and my mom ukrainain
I don’t have Aldi’s yet but I sure like when you agree with me on the best things at Krogers. Every little bit helps. Carole
I shopped that same week (don't have a 10 box) and I saved $47.17 off $168 purchase. WooHoo!!!! My best savings in a year. I did go to Aldi and bought some of the same items you did. The Kroger 18 ct eggs I did buy one for baking. I usually buy eggs from a chicken farmer friend. I cannot eat stored bought eggs as a fried, boiled or poached egg. I love your videos. It makes me so happy that someone else does their homework. Well done, Janice!
Hi Janice & Family,I agree about election time.A great grocery haul.❤️Have a great weekend.❤️
Thank you so much for these grocery videos! Saves me so much time going thru Kroger app! I don’t have an Aldi or 10 box near me. But I check Food Lion in our area. Your videos really are a blessing!
Janice week at the week you amaze me at the amount you saved by checking the ads I too am an ads shopper. We love that shaved steak. We make cheese steaks with that. I had onions and peppers delicious. White out when you can make that kind of food at home.
What an awesome job! Your family definitely eats well. Thanks for sharing and taking all the extra time to create video content. I also shop at Kroger but I am single. I do share food and prepared food this week for family and visitors of a friend who is in her last days on hospice care. I took advantage of the Kroger sales on cheese, grapes, eggs and mark down produce. Because of my physical limitations I place a pickup order for the non-perishable items which were more than normal this week because of the food I mentioned preparing for someone else. Then I went inside for the produce and perishable items. I found amazing deals on markdown produce on sweet snacking peppers, zucchini, yellow squash and cauliflower. My store bags them up into red mesh produce bags and sells them for 99 cents per bag. I weighed the bags just to kind of get an idea of what good deals I was purchasing. I should stop at Aldi and get some of the pasta substitutes that you purchased as I need to eat low carb. I also have several fall squashes that I got last week at Kroger for the red bag 99 cents. I'm going to cook spaghetti squash and use it as pasta as well. The awesome deals make me happy also!
As i do all the things on my next few days off, ive very much enjoyed your vid! Yes plan for any contigency! Oct 1 doc workers plan on striking...plan prep pray! Prayers to the helene victims!!
all my moms brothers and sisters and cousins have home made farms some how similar stuff
From Alabama I love all your videos
Hi Janice aw what a wonderful family u have sending u guys love and best wishes from bonnie Scotland 🥰🥰
I did my weekly shopping at Kroger, Costco and Sam's, My Kroger receipt showed i had a 58 % savings on my total! I knew i saved quite a bit was shocked at how much.
Wow-wee, Peyton, that's phenomenal savings!!! I'm excited for you! :)
I agree with you about stalking up during this time…you just never know.
If only we had such sales in Canada!
yay Grocery haul ☺️ Janice and family ☺️
we usually buy the 60 count box of eggs at walmart and that price has jumped to 18.00 for that box which use to be about $8.00.
Your summer kitchen is awesome 😊
Do you have a separate budget for your cleaning products and toiletries would like to see what toiletries you use ,shampoo soap, shower gel ,perfume etc.
Fantastic ❣️❣️❣️
Awesome job Janice! Amazing!! Val ❤️🙏🏻
Hi Janice, Awesome sales! can you make a recipe using some cheddar cheese for us? and can you talk about your freezers to? I love making bone broth from rotisserie chickens it tastes so good .
If you ever find German "Saitenwürstchen" or "Wienerwürstchen you can make a German dish called Linsen mit Würstchen und Spätzle. (Lentels with Sausage and Spätzle. ) The lentels are seasoned with vineger, salt and pepper, some people put in a bit of broth and onions and a few small cut carrots. I like them plain only with vineger, salt and pepper.
Eggs are outrageous! I stock up when Kroger has them on sale every 2-4 weeks. I buy virtually the same items each week, and have noticed a 3-5% increase each week.
Hey Janice, Another great video you do a fantastic job stretching that budget 😊 Do you have a recipe fir a good crockot beef stew ?
How is Brisket?😊
Whoop whoop you did super awesome saving this haul😊 God Bless You ❤😊
Thanks for sharing all the great savings.
I went and buy the milk from Dollar Tree. Thanks again.
Love your shopping videos and how excited you get over your deals!! Wish we had 10 box and Kroger here but we dont ..
Janice, not sure if you saw it, but on your Kroger receipt it says you have saved over $1881 for the year thus far! Fantastic!!
Woo hoo, that makes me so happy! :)
❤deals of the week: that watermelon.
😮😮❤I spend $100 a week for 2 and this includes household products (non food). We have at least one meatless meal on Fridays. We only have Kroger and Wal-Mart. Kroger sells get confusing for me. Thank you for sharing your haul and all your wonderful tips.
Happy Birthday Shawn.. look for a little gift..Thanks! Doris Condor
Doris, thank you so very much! Your gift helped to make Shawn's birthday extra special! :)
I always buy butter from Ireland. Expensive...yes. But I love it. It has a totally different taste to it. My once a month indulgence. Yummy!!
Awesome haul
So exciting, amazing deals! Nice job! I've never used Azure, but I'm thinking about it
Great deals❤ thanks for sharing
my other son volunteered to get a job but he done school know he working with his friend
We got pork butts from Dillons (Kroger) for 99 cents per pound this week! I haven't seen that deal in several years. Great week for deals!
You are such an inspiration. Thank you.
Hey it's my birthday on Tuesday too :-) 1st October:-) I love your family and been following you from the start :-) I live in England UK x I said about I wish I could of come to your meet and greet but obviously not possible with living in England lol :-) xxxx
I did my weekly shopping at Kroger this morning. I ended up paying $104.00 but based on their non sale prices I saved $58 which is incredible savings. One of the best savings was $1.99 for 18 eggs when the usual price is $5.49 a carton .
Janice next time you do your Sam's Haul get their Rotisserie Chickens they are $4.98 regular price every day no limit on how many you can buy.. take them home and freeze them, Krogers full price? That's crazy and they aren't as big as Sam's Club. I buy 4 a month when I go every month so convenient. Anna In Ohio
I did find some good deals this week also and I went over my budget to I want things ready not know what will happen for many reasons as well.😊
Just FYI…. I saved $99.03 at Kroger today and paid only 2.49 per gallon for gas, using my fuel points. I spent 244.44 on groceries, mostly bulk and 47 on gas. I think it was a win!
Great savings Janice ❤🎉
Question? Do you always buy the cheapest? Do you factor in quality?
My grocery shopping routine is to do a biweekly grocery order from Walmart for staples and toiletries. Weekly I then shop sales and pick up fresh fruit and dairy. Monthly total comes to around $1000. It includes all our necessities though. We are a family of 4 and we don’t eat fancy and always go for the generic brands. Maybe I can get this down a bit.
People who have Krogers are blessed. We have a Wal-Mart, Piggly Wiggly which adds 10% upcharge. They are expensive.
Publix has the best meat.
I take advantage of their sales and buy one get one free.
I look forward to your videos.
Great job Janice!!!!
I love the Johnsonville beef hot links. My daughter is going to Atlanta Monday. I'm debating if I should have her get me some butter and bring it back to Kansas City MO for me. I just don't know if the airline will allow it.
Really enjoyed watching
Dollar Tree has gluten free spaghetti for 1.25 for 12 ozs. It is actually really good
We get the discount bananas for banana bread and muffins. I don't eat bananas but my husband and kids love them
Janice you hit the lottery on BANANAS 🤣
Those Johnsonville beef brats are half the size of raw brats but are delicious.
On the shelf staple milk from Dollar Tree is it good past the expiration date as if used for emergency preparedness it might expire before using as at my store the date usually isnt too far out from expiring even when purchased/ Thank you.
That's a great savings you got at Kroger.
You Go Girl!!🎉
Janice, can you tell me about the sugar you bought from Azure? Is it a good sugar replacement for diabetics? Thanks!
It's sugar so it will spike your blood sugar levels, not good for diabetics.
Janice great haul!! Question do you do the gas survey for Kroger as well? And 70 cents off WOW!!!!Most I've ever done is 30 cents, lol. Blessings y'all!
How do you dehydrate the banana chips
Great! Great! Great! Job on your grocery savings.
Palm of heart pasta is awesome. you do however have to cook them like pasta in a pan. my boss cooked it in the microwave and didn't realize he had to cook it on the stovetop
