Interesting vid & device Chops. Makes you realise that manufacturers could be doing a lot more & a way better job for us customers without spending much more at all. With their bulk buying power they could be getting screens like this for peanuts & fitting them to any size bike with minimal mark up.
Mate great vid , just to let you know , the tinderbox can be used as a switched live , it will only give power when it senses the bike is ticking over correctly, I use one on my dl650 and never had to look for a switched live ,, I’m sure you already know this and for you and your application you’d rather a switched live , but just for others out there , you don’t need a switched live with the tunderbox it does it its self by some black magic 😂
Exactly, with a modern Thunderbox just put the battery pos and switch wire together in the same supply outlet, unlike my older technology Fuzeblock that is wired to my tail light for ignition control.
Got one Chopsy, I’ve had it a few weeks. You can get the non camera, no tyre pressure version for about £80.00. I’ve got Apple car play in my car, it’s brilliant but a bit distracting when driving, the last thing I want on my bike is more distraction looking at the rear camera, then the mirrors, it’s more time not looking where you are going. Is it a good thing to have ? Absolutely brilliant for clear navigation prompts, bigger screen than your phone. Downside, all I’ve come across is poor phone signal when navigating, but you can download maps to your phone if you know the area you are going to is a bit remote. Buy it.
Exactly Colin, Driving standards have plummeted recently. The last thing I need is another distraction glaring at me while I should be checking the surface ahead, junctions etc.
Welcome to the future old man! But its all perspective, ive started on "manual" bikes with 0 assistants and worked my way up to the modern gsxs with TC ABS and some other BS assistants. The modern suzuki's are the easiest bikes to ride and sometimes I miss the old school no BS bikes, if you make a mistake you better fix it or you're falling. no slipper clutch no abs no holding hands. But modern is alot of fun too, no looking back and just send the 150bhp croch rocket into whatever corner with ease. After having experienced both I'd rather stay with the modern bikes.
@@Gsxsmeneer Get another old bike, plenty of mint low mileage bikes out there. I've been loving my now 24y/o Kawasaki ZX9r for almost four years, still an underrated beast of a bike that will beat many modern butler bikes 😎

In a world of either cheap knockoff rubbish or super premium rip-off prices this looks like like a refreshing change as a but of kit that functions well whilst being affordable 👌
These seem to be popular at the moment. The camera is a good feature for the price, but like you and probably many others, I wouldn't wish to be recording my rides. I think most of us have an old phone and I'd rather use that if needed. The Honda Road Sync on the CB750 Hornet, and other models, gives Google navigation, messages and music from your phone. Although it doesn't mirror the phone it's more than enough for me. I also prefer to use a satnav which takes away the no signal issue, even though you can download Google maps. So for me it's just another not needed gadget.
I bought a new Speed Twin 1200 last week, so I've just ordered one to support the channel, plus I didn't like my old Garmin zūmo XT and Innovv camera setup, and I also ordered a 3 Channel Dash Cam H10 for the car. Jeez, I've spent some cash in the past week-AutoTrader and eBay, here I come! 😬
I really wish the C601 had twin cameras also, not just a front one and a sunshade as I really want the C601 'offline mapping' option that the C6 Pro doesn't offer as I only have my phone for emergency use so still on PAYG, not a data bundle.
I saw another review of this item and was encouraged to buy one. This is my REAL WORLD experience. First Unit arrived from China. DEAD. Would not power up at all. Sent back to AOOCCI. I had to pay shipping but was immediately refunded. ( But in Dollars not Sterling so lost on that conversion ) After convincing the support team that it wasn't my wiring that caused the problem they sent me a replacement which was OK. This process took a long time from ordering to getting a working unit. Both the batteries in the Tyre pressure sensors were down to 2.94V. Changed out to new batteries but the TMPS sensors are way out. They connect OK but read a lower pressure than the actual tyre. Triple checked tyre pressure using 3 different Gauges and the tyre pressure is spot on but the AOOCCI sensors are way off, fitted new batteries and they are constantly reading low pressure even after running on the road for several miles.. Iv'e ditched them and wont be refitting. So my view would be Buyer Beware. Its Cheap but is it worth the hassle. Time will tell.
Add another to the just ordered list. It looks perfect for my usage (keep expensive phone off the bars and out of the rain). Nice little kickback as well for all your great efforts hopefully.
One question, how many nits is the screen? I ask that because in 2021 I bought the Blueskysea DV988, which was a great deal as a significant rearview mirror camera. But it was plagued by poor daytime visibility. At this moment Chigee AOC-5 is the champ with brillance north of 1500 nits I believe.
This looks like a really good unit, but I have three points. 1. It only comes with a mount for round handlebars, so will be problematic mounting it on a sports bike. 2, With the healtech thunderbox, why do you need to connect into a switched cable? Isn't that what the thunderbox is for? 3. It connects to your phone, so you need to mount that somewhere on charge also, otherwise the bluetooth will drain your phone.

My next bike will be one with CarPlay built in. Almost all the car makers have it, it’s what customers want. No excuse bike makers can’t do it for next to no cost. All their built in oem solutions are far inferior.

Where is the unit sold from? What warranty or guarantees are given? How are faulty equipment returns dealt with? Is the company easily contactable and do they reply promptly? Support is everything when it comes to a product, none of the above was covered! You were given the unit FOC so none of the above applies to you but it will to anyone whom buys the device on your advice and from your link. If you're doing a product review it would be more helpful to do an in depth one. Look forward to the follow up review, what will be interesting is the robustness and longevity of the device, say in 2 years time!
Yeah as a GX owner all i can say is why tf android auto isn't on the bike in the first place 😂, that proprietary Suzuki app on Sygic suck to say the least.
How much time does a rider spend looking down and faffing around with devices like this? I thought car drivers texting on cell phones were dangerous and I don't see a lot of differences with tnis technology....good luck.

Waiting for my ver 5.0 to be delivered in JHB SA.Thks.
I can see a big problem with reflection in that glossy screen, I got same size unit with no cameras on Ali express for £95 all in with matte screen and brightness of 1000 nits. Can see everything on brightest sunny day at in sun position.
I've had good visibility of the screen, at least as good as my phone
Hi sounds great, but every time I go on their site to buy one it comes up in dollars to pay at the end anybody got any ideas thank you 👍
You can't change it, but buy in $$ and it should just convert it..
Looks good, shame there’s no option for a stem mount for my GSXR though, or I’d be all over it
If you look at RAM mounts they do a stem one that fits to this unit ..
After seeing ur video i am trusting that company i have seen so many videos of my INDIANS but was having aa doubt on the product 😅
Seems like it has all the functions you would find in a much more expensive unit.
I bought the product but screen is opening with different branding and main screen is not same with yours. I'm really upset. it seems completely different OS. also box and packaging is different then website showed.there is no remote control in my box.
You own that Gx ? I thought it was a long termer loan bike? 👍
Yes correct it's owned by Suzuki but I plan to buy it after the loan 👍
I have always like the idea of android auto been useable on a motorcycle, but as you still need to charge your phone and most phones are now IP rated and paired with a wireless charge mount why bother :) I do however like dash cams on a motorcycle and i would install them
Can you change it from km to mph
No.
My next bike will be one with CarPlay built in. Almost all the car makers have it, it’s what customers want. No excuse bike makers can’t do it for next to no cost. All their built in oem solutions are far inferior.
Hi, I may have missed something, but website shows much more expensive USD $1,700 to include the dash cam, etc....
It might be a bug on the website. After using the discount code, the price is only around $170.🤔
Pretty good price compared to the Chigee unit.
Does anyone know if you can run this unit by USB
Mine came with a usb power cable option and it works fine.
Remote and software looks very similar to Chigee
Hmm...I don't know how I feel about sitting atop electro magnetic frequencies emitting through my nether regions and future kids. Under the seat? Oh no! 😂
I don't get this product..why do you have to use your phone signal. If this had its own SIM card then I might consider one
Looks very very slow?
Chops, if for any reason you did not want the cameras on can you stop them recording.
Yes just don't fit the SD card 👍
You don’t need to connect to a switch wire to a switched live with the thunderbox Chopsy just connect the switch wire to the thunderbox
Yes indeed, I actually connected the Thunder box to the ignition live hoping it would stop the cutting out problem. But no I wasted my time 😬
L300 Ali express £50 shame that myspin don't support android auto
Can you give me a code where I can pay in pounds please ?
My eyes are opening to Suzuki, I'd like a sports tourer and I always arrive at a GSX-S 1000GT. They just look cool, I can put up with a bit of wind for those looks.
Oh ye, it's not a Suzuki vid.
I wish I could find a reason to have one.
