We reviewed one of these and found it lacked the mythical power the A45 is rumoured to have, and it numbed the experience. I'm glad our theory about mapping one of these would unlock a lot more potential! Looks great too

Matt, you should be sub 4.2 second 0-60 with that kinda power. Launch control wont work unless dif oil is warm enough. Even so should manage better than 5.2 seconds. Give it a few runs, I bet you will get best time after 3rd run. Keep up the good work lad.

Great video Matt. Did you go for spacers on the new wheels, those wheels are fantastic. Would you recommend a self tune for the TT 2.0 TFSI with MP or mobile, is there a big difference? Did you find you wished for the Quattro on the TT, can’t decide between a 2.0 tfsi and simply a remap or a standard TTS? About to change very soon to one of those very soon so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Great Video Mat but I feel like you didn’t launch it properly? Did you do both paddles in and right to confirm for a race launch start?
Mat if you want 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds you need to drive 8 miles so the car is warmed up and then it has to be in launch control for you to get 4.5 second results

when are you sorting the exhaust system out? these can sound alright with reduced pops and bags :)

@@MatArmstrongbmx Is it a high flow cat? You could almost certainly get more out of a tune with one. At least that has been my experience with all my VAG cars.

I think it’s the wheels that could be slowing you down with the 0to60 times you should put the standard ones back on then try the 0to60 again I put 19’s on my 400hp s3 and made it feel slow so went back to stock with nankan ns2 r tyres made it handle like a dream I have grip for days in warm weather you don’t even get a screech from the tyres on launch 👌🏾

You should try drag race with stock A45 in good condition to test how faster that is :D
