Can you do a tutorial on how you shoot and edit a whole Promotional video or sequence? Like with the cuts, transitions, music and all. I'm sure it will be long but I'd pay you $50 just for it, lol.

This is late but how can I take short clips out of one single long video? I'm editing a music video and studio footage i shot on an old Mini DV tape, I have about 30 mins worth of footage on a USB now I want to take the clips and arrange them into their own clips. For example I want to take the first minute out of this 30 mins of video, cut out 10 mins, cut out the next 5 etc and make them their own clips

Awesome video, just the one I need to go through an hour long video I have that needs to be done by this Friday or Saturday when I am just going through it and removing all of the unnecessary reverb I have in the video. I have a video suggestion for you as I would like to have this effect in my future videos. I have found a video I rely on but now, it is no longer there. The effect I want is a matte effect, an effect you will see in PowerPoint transitions. I already have the thd video files that has the white shapes doing it's effect that will show in the video as a transition effect. I'll be in the Discord server later just to chill as I edit, so if you see someone by the name of TwilightLinkable, that's me. Have a good day!
Hey thanks for the message. I'll hit you up in discord! But the simple way is called a track matte key effect. All you have to do is apply that effect to the bottom video layer and set the matte to video 2 layer and drag you matte to that video layer! :] I'm glad I could help you!
The first thing whenever I install fresh premiere anywhere, is to disable these Q or W keys, they have messed large number of time lines and sequence for more than ten times, not just for me but I know dozens of people who have reported this issue unknowingly..so we avoid it altogether, because sitting 18+ hours with clients can make things go wrong when you're sleepy 😅
I can totally see this happening. This is why I love the autosave feature so I can revert to an older version of the edit in case I save over the Ctrl + Z limit. :D
Thanks, but i have been using this method for more than a year cutting almost everyday and i have now found a better way. Use "i" "o" and " ' " cutting from frame of a clip to another frame on the next clip. Saves even more time, and i dont even notice the clip seperations anymore. JKL for scrubbing. What do you think?

But all I want to do is move a selected clip to where my playhead is at without "ripple" anything. Apparently, you need an "Excalibur" plugin just to do that? WTF?
Instead of using Ctrl-K to cut a clip, I map this to the E key and all three (Q, W, E) are all together.
Where do you go into the settings to change this?
