Fans are about names, big names. FC Dallas is about academy and home grown. If you want to see the Dallas atmosphere come back om a match with Galaxy or another team with names you'll see the people you'll see the rivalry. You may want to revisit in 2022 as many things have changed. #DTID
Dallas is a good team and have been in the MLS since the beginning, they had one of the first soccer-specific stadiums and you mentioned their great youth program. The problem is they’ve been around a while and had their ups and downs, their stadium is far from both Dallas and Fort Worth that’s tough to get to unless you’re literally in the wealthy suburbs up north, and they have to compete with our local NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL teams, all of which are more popular and better situated for fans. Meanwhile all these new clubs with nicer stadiums, sexy branding (not gonna lie ATX green and black is sweet) and new passionate fanbases that aren’t split with other sports (ATX had UT college sports and that’s literally it) have definitely leapfrogged Dallas in a way. Thankfully the team itself is still pretty good and that’s all that matters to me and keeps me coming to see my local club, but the management has a lot of improvement and growth to do and I don’t think they’re prepared to do it. They raised the bar for MLS back in the day and now they need to keep up if they want more than just a couple ultras and majority upper middle class families in the stands.
I’m from Dallas and love football. The MLS gets a ton of crap but Austin FC always brings the energy, and I’ll say that even as a FC Dallas fan. I also agree with your score for FC Dallas, it has gotten better, especially the games vs Austin or Houston. The MLS still has nothing on the Prem.
@Channel Name hey bro! I am not necessarily hesitant to follow mls, but growing up I was just obsessed with european footy. I call it football because that is what the rest of the world calls it, I worked in england at a team for a bit and it was just instilled in me. All my friends here in the states also call it that. But in general, I definitely can say growing up I really was obsessed with european footy and so I have that kind of lens, and as a kid I admit I was biased against MLS because the rest of the world always talked down on it, but honestly am disappointed I had that mindset and want to be proud of our country's footy. I dont want to force being a fan but I definitely am growing more to the league and am proud of where it is. i have many friends that work in MLS or play here so that lens is going away. trust me youll see some more mls content brother!
One thing that really hurts the atmosphere in Toyota stadium is it’s location, I used to drive about 2 hours just to get there it would only really get full anytime the opposing team with a big name player came. great vid tho
@nachotaco Where do you live? The stadium is only 10 minutes from my house. Lots of soccer fans and families in North Dallas/Plano/Frisco. You must be really far south.
I'm an FC Dallas fan and I understand the shortage of fans but your not gonna find a lot of full stands maybe Sporting KC but I still have a fun time at the games and events
That's a fair rating for FC Dallas. It disappoints me how awful the atmosphere of FC Dallas is. It is treated like a college-level soccer game. I hate it. I have been posting on Twitter for four years that the Hunt family needs to sell the team and move them closer to Dallas.
Ima have to break it to ya, but the Texas Derby belongs to Dallas and Houston. We have yet to see a rivalry between Austin and Dallas (if anything it should be the 35 Rivalry)
Austin will win an MLS Championship LONG before Dallas gets through the playoffs - if they keep the business model of IMPROVEMENT - vs Dallas business model DEVELOP GREAT PLAYER AND - S. E. L. L. - THEM…
Dope to see that you visited FC Dallas! I hope you come back for another Dallas game. I know the atmosphere isn’t the best and the team is aight if I’m being honest. Jesus Ferreira probably will become a bigger name in the future and I hope he does.
Come back again especially for the rivalry, dall actually invested this year and the fans are coming back out now that the team is preforming like we expect them to!
If you wanna watch the most heated rivalry atmosphere in MLS travel to Portland - Seattle The hate on both sides is mutual. Also MLS cup 2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2021 always featured Seattle/ Portland in the west coast! I think 2022 will also see one of them again
How is this video so underrated? Keep the series going!
Come through Q2 stadium next time you visit Texas. Fanbase is always on fire & you can party right down the street at The Domain after the game

To be fair, you went to the next to last game of season when both teams were at the bottom of the table and eliminated from playoffs.
Lol tattoo for a couple year old club.
Go to Atlanta United
Nah. Not craziest. /

You gotta visit Q2 stadium in Austin, great atmosphere win, loss, or tie.
Dude, you have to come up to the Pacific Northwest to see a Sounders vs Timbers game! That is an MLS experience!
The start to the video and everything up untill the match part was amazing. The match was good but not amazing.
Thanks for the love bro! I agree, hopefully the next video will be even better 😏
Austin fc have a better fan base
Make sure to visit Portland Vs Seattle in Portland this year, it’s always the best atmospheres!!
Hope you get to see every stadium for sure
Come back again especially for the rivalry, dall actually invested this year and the fans are coming back out now that the team is preforming like we expect them to!
great video
Thanks bro 🙏
Best soccer game I’ve experienced so far in the US is definitely a NM United game. I live in DFW but man them people from NM get down.

Hard to have atmosphere when no one shows up because you’re losing, come back this year and it’s a lot better now:)
