😮Hi thank you so much for that nice compliment. You just dont know how much it has lifted my spirit reading it. I have a book on Amazon called Ride to the Arctic. I was posting every few days on certain motorbike pages, one guy got fed up and reported me for spamming. My book is just like me in the vide, co and laid back daily diary, but as it was not full of riding through dense jungle and being attacked by wild bears it did not suit the reader. Once again you have renewed my faith in my followers. If you send your home address I will send you 2 stickers 😊
Thank You for sharing this! 👍 I "installed" the Givi rack today on my Crosstourer. Still in doubt what sidecases to buy. (That also depends on availability). It sure was helpfull to see 👀 the fitting beforehand.
Givi in black, nice. Got mine from Motocard, never heard of Varashop. I have the 46l Dolomiti and the 42 Trekker outback top boxes. One tip, if you can, take the rack off and smother the inaccessible welded joints with Hamerite. Then spray in black. I found mine rusted after 6 months! so lockdown last year this job was done. They don't dip them or galv them and they will rust.
Yes your right as my old ones were showing sign in those areas as well. I checked Moto card. They were a little more expensive. And I had daily contact with Monica at Varashop, she managed to get the supports from Givi at short notice, did not have them in stock for the CT, she did a great job.
Many many thanks Tony for filming and uploading this as it's been very helpful in helping me to fit the same holders. I'm fitting the new GRT 720 25 + 25 litre Canyon bags to the same steelwork and I've watched this several times now 😂 to try and get my aged brain to take it all in 🙄. Cheers pal 👍🏻
Nice. It looks like you’re starting to get the bike in the way you want it. It’s smart that you can open the from the top if needed. 👍 I didn’t like the way that the vario case opened, side ways like the Givis, but they don’t have the straps to hold the luggage. And not the possibility to open from the top. And the right bag is larger in the top than in the bottom because of the exhaust. So if you open the bag when it’s on the bike everything in side will fall out on the floor. They are also quite heavy due to the variable size mechanism. But they looks good and doesn’t need any holders, so the bike is clean with out them on.
Yes the last ride was 300km and I felt like the Phoenix Flyer was becoming a part of me at last. The trekkers have the carrying handle which my wife uses as her hand grips as the bike ones are too low for her, (she has short arms 😅) and there is the possibility to attach things on top, like camping stuff for next year 😉
That’s really convenient. Riding two on the bike change the requirements. You need more space and aren’t able to use the pillion for luggage. You have this year to prepare the flying phoenix 😀
Newly subscribed thicko😁 i wondered if theres a video of you fitting the givi topbox to your ct..just bought one and want to replace the honda lunchbox with something bigger and givilike🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️👍
Hi there, thanks for checking out my channel 👍✌️sorry I don't have a video fitting the rear givi top case, it was already fitted when I got my CT. I'm sure it will be a simple job
Thanks for your comment and for joining g the channel. The Givis cost I can't remember exactly, 😬 the frame is from givi as well. The Givis are not 100% waterproof so I use internal bags brought from a sports shop. Sorry I don't know if the AT cases fit. Ride Safe and Ride Your Dream
Hi there Max 2007 thanks for watching and leaving your question. I would love to put them on the new bike, but the finances after buying the Phoenix Flyer has made that impossible for a while
New subscriber here (800th!) love how laid back and chill your videos are!

How much did they cost? And the frame? Thanks
Do the AT panniers and top box fit the vfr crosstourer ?

Are you going to put adreani in your new crosstourer?
