Make sure your on the the rode mode you can just click toggle switches and modes at the bottom, if you don’t see the square for frame blending it’s because you precomped your clip. Make sure to add frame blending when you put in your clip
First let me compliment you on your intention and effort to teach people about these features. But dude, IMHO you failed to explain or demonstrate the difference between them.... We can only progress by keepin' it real, right?
Great explanation, but you're using the term "clip" when you should be using the term "frame". Clip refers to the entire piece of media, from first to last frame. So AE doesn't create a new CLIP when using FRAME blending or pixel motion, it creates new FRAMES.

Now. pre compose , cut the clip and try to apply pixel motion onto one part and frame mix onto other part of the clip .
