OMG MY FRIEND ASKED ME TO CHECK OUT THE COMMENTS HERE, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I am going to respond back first chance I get! We never really knew how popular Soul Train was back then until we started to tour, THERE WAS NO SOCIAL MEDIA BACK THEN and they barely gave us our fan mail. Thank God for American Soul to inform the new generation. I am on Instagram stop by if you get a chance, THANKS!

You just never know what goes on behind the scenes. I used to watch Soul Train every weekend. On Sundays, I used to turn the tv down low & sneak & watch the show. I grew up watching she, her eyebrows & her peers.
She looks like a completely different woman. I’m very impressed by how proactive & industrious she was & is.
She created quite a career for herself by capitalizing on her beauty & popularity. How nice it was for the man who created the brand to allow her to do a little promo & get a little coin & when he felt she had gone far enough, he opened doors for her to have other opportunities in the industry. This was actually a pretty dope mini documentary. I liked it & you thumb downers are just hating.

I know this woman pretty well. Can't say I remember her on Soul Train, but in my native Nigeria she was a creative director for Silverbird Productions, the company responsible for the pageant Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. Didn't know she was the chick who kissed Darryl from Coming to America in Billy Ocean's Suddenly though...

I'm so glad sssssoooooo many of dancers had opportunities to do what they loved to do. I remember a bunch of us kids running to our friend's house when soul train came on. They had the biggest TV on the block. I think it was a 27 inch 🤣🤣🤣. It was the early 80's.
