Lolol the first thing you learn about someone from Chicago is that they're from Chicago. Maybe even before our names. I've been in LA for almost 10 years and I still tell people I'm from Chicago. Lolol
Sherri Mcfadden Jody Watley still fine. I was just on her channel, she was a dancer on Soul Train when she was a teenager in the mid 70’s. Came out as solo artist in 87.
This deserves more views. All of the ambiguous/black adjacent women have hundreds of thousands more views. Let's celebrate our queens on the platforms that were created to let them shine!
DAMN!!!! She really made Soul Train work for her. Huge props! Is it me or does she look better as a seasoned woman than she did when she was a youngun? But she was bad when she was younger though.
I am so proud of Julie. I grew up in the church in Chicago with her. She didn't tell that she was once a Jet centerfold :) She is very talented, nice and beautiful.
Nah, they're friends! She and Cheryl are cool. I think the producers may have had her say it that say so people would know who she's talking about. They don't know her by name
Always watched Juliette on Soul Train as a kid! Loved that she was a brown girl who was a trendsetter. She certainly started the hair band ponytail on top.
I know this woman pretty well. Can't say I remember her on Soul Train, but in my native Nigeria she was a creative director for Silverbird Productions, the company responsible for the pageant Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. Didn't know she was the chick who kissed Darryl from Coming to America in Billy Ocean's Suddenly though...
DAMN!!! I really would like to own a dvd collection of soul train from the 80s to early 90s! Not just the performances, but the DANCING as well!! Really great to hear from Juliette!!!
I loved Juliette on Soul Train! Her style was heavily copied throughout the years when she was on the show. It's was fun being a kid watching the show and idolizing the dancers because of how the danced, dressed, and performed with our favorite artists then. My only dream is to see Soul Train back in syndication again, so that this generation could have the same experiences and feelings that our generation did. They would love it! 😁
I grew up looking at Soultrain during the 70"s and when it came on every body that was out side when it came on clear the playground to watch Soultrain . I love hearing every body story and seeing how they look now.
Wow, she should get the award for helped the most by Soul Train. She really took it to a whole other level. Good for her! And she still looks beautiful!
I just remember her energy. She ALWAYS danced so hard...working that body!!! She and "Rosie Perez" were the two most athletically-energetic female dancers I'd ever seen on Soul Train.
Mrs. Juliette Hargeman, thank you 100 million times 100 million thanks would never express my heart felt gratitude to you and the entire Soul Train Family. The Soul Train will Always dance in our hearts forever......🥸🤗🥼😎🏈🏀🤓🥔🥼🥬🥝❤❤❤❤
watching these whole series makes you realize that absolutely everyone in this show were go getters. They all wanted something and went for it without any doubts. Respect.

Awesome story! She looks amazing!! It's bugged out that she is saying that the other girl is not related to her... I honestly thought they were twins... This clip should have been a lot longer, she deserves a lot more talk time
I believe there was some magic juice in that chicken some hated so much LOL. They all seem to have really aged like fine wine. I loved Soul Train!! Such great memories and happier times in my life and family 💗.

Lolol the first thing you learn about someone from Chicago is that they're from Chicago. Maybe even before our names.
I've been in LA for almost 10 years and I still tell people I'm from Chicago. Lolol
Yeah, it was clever that she said she was from Chicago, because Don Cornelius was from there too, and so was the show originally.
Smart thing to do. She showed her pride and didn't clam up!!
Loved her and Jodey Waitley. They represented for the brown skin chics. Their styles were similar. Plus was sexy.
Sherri Mcfadden Jody Watley still fine. I was just on her channel, she was a dancer on Soul Train when she was a teenager in the mid 70’s. Came out as solo artist in 87.
It's amazing how you can walk into your destiny by just showing up, being persistent and just going for it. Love this story.
Very true! I wouldn’t have had the guts to do that. Salute to her for chasing her dreams.
This deserves more views. All of the ambiguous/black adjacent women have hundreds of thousands more views. Let's celebrate our queens on the platforms that were created to let them shine!

Very true , I noticed that !
DAMN!!!! She really made Soul Train work for her. Huge props! Is it me or does she look better as a seasoned woman than she did when she was a youngun? But she was bad when she was younger though.
Man she's still Beautiful! Age less!!
I agree!
I am so proud of Julie. I grew up in the church in Chicago with her. She didn't tell that she was once a Jet centerfold :) She is very talented, nice and beautiful.
If she didn't tell. Why are you lol
Omg she was wearing a jersey dress when it wasn’t a style
She sure did!!! A Michael Cooper jersey at that!!! She was a trendsetter and didn't fully realize it. That means she was humble and wasn't vain.
This woman is still glamorous and beautiful 😍😍😍
Wow I remember her very well. My goodness she has not aged. She is absolutely stunning as always. Non of these dancers have aged.
