Bro I am SOOOOO happy you started giving more details in the description as far as what comic/year things take place. Makes it so much easier to directly find these issues and dive in. Thank you so much Rob and editors!
Sue Storm shows up suddenly pregnant Reed Richards: "This is...alarming..." Dr. Doom suddenly pops up from the same room: "Oh, then you are not going to like this, Richards."
If they want anyone to care or blink when something wrecks Galactus they're going to need to reintroduce him in a big way because everything and everyone in the universe has beaten Galactus to the point its comical when he shows up now. Like I would expect Daredevil and Deadpool's funny friend to easily beat Galactus at this point.
Ahhhhhh showing my favorite Excalibur issue while gushing about Roma, the Cross-Time Caper doesn't get nearly enough credit for expanding Multiversal Stories!
Been offline last week so I started buying comics, Rob! I'm starting to collect the New Jean Gray run, Avengers Beyond, Spawn, and King Spawn (that one is br00tal). I'm glad that I can tune in to your content, again, and you inspired me to get into collecting! Thanks, Rob ❤️
There's a difference between "underrated" and "unknown". Both Marvel and DC have a bunch of stupidly OP characters that get one or two arcs and that's it and it's because they are so OP that this is the case. Nobody who knows of Abraxis underrated him.
@@CBrown I’ve made this point, and tried to not sound insulting, and without a“I know more than you,” attitude. M A lot of folks get very upset, when I do. 😆 It’s a bit like how “literally,” is misused, and overused, so folks reply with “grammar police,” or something similar. Saying Abraxas is underrated, is a bit like saying Matthew Mallow is underrated. No, there was one story with him, and most only know of him at all, through watching UA-cam videos.
I love watching your videos hearing about comics because i just didn't grow up reading them and no way i could get into it, but i can listen and feel like I'm up on what goes on. That's why i love this channel... with that said, maybe it's me and my ignorance but I've heard alot of stories where Galacticus kinda seem like a chump. Seem like everybody just pop in and beat him down with ease. He don't seem threatening at all. He basically sit around, sending his friends to hunt for him and then eating and just living his life.... until someone random says let me go kill him real quick lol not really some great villain

LOVE THIS AND OTHER CONTENT THAT YOU’VE DONE! Question, and it may sound silly so please don’t scold me here… could Franklin Richards really be “The One Above All” growing up? -God in Man. Man in God.
Franklin and Galactus are to unify at the end of this universe, becoming the next one's version of Galactus. So he's more of a preternatural entity than a God. Or to call a spade a spade, a plot device. Franklin's lost all of his powers too, meaning what I just said may not even be canon anymore.
This story is amazing ROB PLEASE DO THE STORY MAXIMUM SECURITY I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE AND IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF YOU COVERED IT 😁 AND THIS IS ONE OF YOUR OLDEST FAN'S BTW MUCH LOVE MY FRIEND.
Ok....I'm glad you covered this story in detail, finally. Asked you about that years ago. But now, I'm sitting here, going "WTF!?", as I now realize how convoluted this story was. I's forgotten. Hadn't read it snce it was first published back in......I know it was after 1997, after Heroes Reborn: The Return, so around '98, '99? And FF back then was SO FUN to read after HR;TR, they had so many good stories, great humor, and then....after a couple years, it started losing steam. All these plots they'd started, when they finally played them out, they were...not as interesting. Like the guy in FF #5, forgot his name, but he was introduced as the new Doom (because Doom didn't initially return with the other heroes after HR:TR), and he was cool, mysterious, interesting, and then they finally get to the end of that plot by FF #25, and....it sucked. The Abraxas story seemed a mix of the good and bad of FF from that era in the late '90s.

Al Ewing, the writer hasn't said anything about new defenders, that being said he will have 4 ongoing titles by 2024, being Venom, X-Men Red, Immortal Thor, and Avengers Inc

Abraxas reminds me of another figure from the past called the Nineth Man, the wizard of everywhere a magician of some considerable powers and could tap every reality. He was also called the master of magical realms and had many different identities throughout the multiverse, and he possibly had a connection to a major figure in the marvel universe, the Shaper Of Worlds? Apocalypse is the only one who hasn't turned up here?

The one thing that always makes me laugh in comics is the cosmic entities always for some reason have evolved opposable thumbs.
ROB. Do a video on spidermans greatest villan. The Wall.
I like how Abraxas and Galactus rhyme
