That axle looks really nice, but those option parts are sooooo expensive. Lol. You'd think I wouldn't think that way with the amount of money I put into the RC hobby, but that axle is probably a $200 if not more, and still 50% plastic.
Thanks for the Vid. I do have the G500 TRX4, my first RC. LOVE it so far but I don't know anything about the hobby. I like watching your video but I'm not sure you ever said why you were doing those upgrades (what do I gain from doing that) and or addressing the steps you were taking. Why were you weighing things? What if I don't have a scale can I still do it? If you can, just try to remember the newbies. We probably depend on vids like these far more than the people who already know how to do all this stuff. Thanks for your time tho. I'm going to subscribe.
hello just new to this thing yt just recommend it to me and I like how rc cars are being built and it got my interest do you have some tips where to start my research before buying a rc car? thanks
Randy Aguililla This particular series is just featuring Traxxas options. I don’t believe they have aluminum diff covers. I might swap the red covers for the grey version though.
Bonjour, J'adore cette évolution, je souhaiterai l'appliqué sur mon TRX-6, pouvez-vous me transmettre le détail des références à acheter. merci par avance. Bien cordialement Pierre - FRANCE
rodolfo :Lopez Unfortunately I don’t have a E-Revo 2.0. I do have a Maxx and it’s pretty awesome. Inside info... I have all of the Traxxas option parts for a build series on the Maxx coming up after I complete this TRX-4 series.
What is it with RC upgrades, all ways come in blue anodized!!! Or red, green etc etc. What is wrong with great looking silver,it goes with everything and looks like metal.
Looks good but so far brass is the way to go with the portal housings it actually makes a difference crawling
Your camerawork, audio, editing, writing, presentation, information -- all topnotch. And, nice last name too.
John Vogel I try! How many people ask you if you know your last name means “Bird” in German? lol
I don’t have a trx-4 but I still like to watch your vids

Awesome upgrades to the front axle, thanks for sharing Greg
STEVO D 313 Thank ya sir!
RC newbie here. What is the need to change to the chrome-moly shafts and does it truly make a difference in performance to justify the cost?
Thanks
Awesome, great video
Getting some inspiration for upgrading my Trx4 Sport
Need to pick up a trx4 I guess. Been thinking about it for a long time and watching this series makes me want one even more!
Excellent build series👍👍 Always been interested in the overdrive gear set.

On those aluminum hexes there's a lip on one side , which side do those face the rim or bearing side?
Wanna see it run
Not sure you would use Traxxas upgrades when much better are out there for around same price.
Great video as always. But I have to know. What's the final cost of the build using all traxxas parts??
Why wouldn't you use a brass c?
hello just new to this thing yt just recommend it to me and I like how rc cars are being built and it got my interest do you have some tips where to start my research before buying a rc car? thanks
Can i replace them one at a time or should they be added at the same time? front or back first?
is it possible to mold the stock portal and cast it in brass?
I hate traxxas and love them at the same time.....
Do the aluminum portal covers work withe the traxx shock absorber clip?
Awesome! Aluminum diff covers?

I think I would go with brass if I was gonna swap mine it’s a heavy thing down low
🔥👍👍🔥💯🔥SOLID🔥
What the number on hubs? Thank
Hey Greg, do you know if there is a kit to replace all the plastic parts in the axles?
Didn’t look like you lined up the drive shaft when you put the axle back on the chassis
Mr1998jeepcherokee Screw pins are in line with each other.

Hi
Could it handle the 3500kv VXL System?
Yes. With a few plastic buts. It wouldn't crawl very good though. It will be coggy/jerky down low.

I was the first to comment, like and watch
