How do you hold them accountable? Only thing the senate can do is ask the congress to impeach someone the vote to convict them. They csn attempt to cut funding but that will implode on them. And both requires democrats to join in also.

I worked in private industry for over 45 years. I had to do my job, and do it right or other peoples and my life would have been in jeopardy. I did not have an excuse. Either I did my job right or I was fired on the spot. Why do we have all these government people that have other peoples lives like mine in their hands and we can't insist they do their job right? Total insanity is what we have. The government can't even figure out how much SS we the people should draw! And we worked for years to build the account, but government says that a lot of people have to pay back thousands of dollars because of their mistakes or thefts. There are things much, much darker than we can imagine, that are happening and we don't know. This is the nature of power and the people who live in it.
As a Navy vet, having served for 30 years, I am saddened to hear the sexual covered up in our military service. We do hold our men and women to high moral standards, but the reality is that many fail to live up to their expectations. I can testify to having seen a culture of promiscuity in the service, with pornography being rampant, destroying marriage and family. I agree with Senator Hawley we need to bring this issue to light to restore the trust of the American public.
Pornography is probably a release from the stresses of military life. There's a big difference between watching porn, or even being promiscuous, and committing sexual assault.

I was in tears watching the movie Sound of Freedom. I thought it was an isolated incident of finding child pornography on a shipboard network that delayed a scheduled deployment back in 2009. Now, I know it is a much broader problem, and leadership needs to address this issue head-on, not finding excuses to suppress the information.

Yes sir thank you we are way past “working on changing the culture”. We have been past culture change for 20 years now across every branch of the US Military. I have to Laugh that of my 24 years of military service I spent 16 years as an E-7 because I did not believe in the Political Lack of integrity of our leaders but stuck with it to fight for the fairness of our crews not worrying about advancement but the good of people.
