There's another pistol you can get as a quest reward that is just insane on vats use, *small hint* it comes from doing the railroad quests. But there are a few good rewards that come from doing the railroad quest line, I highly recommend doing them. When it comes to tankbots and sentry bots, use vats to target their fusion cores. Also having that penetrator perk under perception will help a ton with those shots. Even though I prefer to use guns in this game, melee is absolutely legit, for real. It's pretty OP. Dogmeat is a boy. He was modeled after a dog one of the game creators had. Unfortunately, that dog passed away a few yrs ago. I'm a dog guy. So I love all dogs! Rock on with your badself my dude!
@@appalachiansapper12b64 railroad quests you say… that’s the bread crumb quest got from the bar in bunker hill. Roger that! Penetrator is on my road map!
YOU MISSED A BOBBLE HEAD AND A MAGAZINE! Mr Observant! They are both in the area where you killed Slab. Yes Pickman is a psychopath who preys on raiders. IF you had bothered to locate Good Neighbour you would have been able to get a quest to go scout Pickman's Gallery. Oh well. Oh you can talk to Capt Ironsides again if you like in his new home. Just for funzies. The talk to bobbie quest AND the Silver Shroud quest originate from Goodneighbour too. As do about 8 or so quest in Diamond City. Plus each of these places has several merchants. GO FIND some towns. PS the silver Shroud quest is AWESOME. It is really a hoot. Really bethesda did this game right. Starfeild was a crushing disappointment in comparison.
@@tedzaleschook what!!?!? Son of a… blarg. Thanks for the heads up about the bobble heads. Good neighbor, Roger that! I hear ya, why the F did they cut out the world exploration aspect of Starfield. That’s what makes their games amazing! And I have a feeling a ChatGPT or similar thing used for a lot of their writing. Thanks Ted!
@@jtsgaminghijinx Aaaand you also missed a magazine on the USS Constitution. I think it is in the Capts quarters you got assigned, on the table I but I am not 100 positive. It's a sneak magazine. Oh and i think you can score Capt Ironsides hat off him too. Go back and talk to him again, mebbe. Frustrating thing is there are some nifty little mini quests and such the game does not direct you too or tell you about. For example once you have set up trading shops in your towns, you can recruit certain traders to come work for you that have exceptional inventories. some will have a unique Item or two like you saw in Bunker Hill. Another thing, you randomly can find bodies with notes on them directing to to a special stash fo chems, caps scrap or a gun at a random location. Oh, fun fact you can farm certain locations as stuff and creatures respawn after an in game week or so. That cave under red rocket near Sanctuary periodically refills with loot and fungus you use to make radaway and mentats via the chem station.
@@jtsgaminghijinx Ya met one of them already, Smiling Larry the gun dealer. You need a certain population size for a settlement to convince them to join you via the dialogue tree. Your shops have 3 categories the largest and only ones worth bothering with are emporiums , are the best suited for these merchants to work for you. Every day yer shops will earn you cash. Any settler can be assigned to a shop. BUT you have yer special settlement mod that fucks with all that. Normally you need CHA 6 and two perks in local leadership to craft shops and workbenches. These also work towards settlement happiness. It seems the settlement mod robs you of alot of crafting XP. but You're you,

@ Dagnabit! I’ll take another look in the capt quarters. And I’ll need to keep an eye out for those special merchants! Thanks Ted.
