Yes, the neighborhood around campus can be tough, but it is transforming. Part of the lesson is learning to navigate various environments and communicating effectively with all types of people. SC truly prepares you for life as a leader because the real world is not a college town.

When you can't actually tour campus due to covid-19 ... :):
USC is a school I want to go to, it's my DREAM school... However, I do not have the money! How can I pay 40-50k a year for a college like that.. I think EDUCATION SHOULD be free for everyone. What if students are smart and have good grades and everything but then they can't afford to go to USC or like, NYU.. It's not fair. Like this schools are only made for rich people, it's kind of sad.
But oh well, I'll never get educated in USC.. Will go on a cheaper school and they always say, self education is the best education. I'll fight with every bone in my body to make my dream come true even tho my degree comes from a different university and not from USC...
Really, really, sad.... :(
The best thing to do is apply for student aid and scholarships! Most private universities give money off based on what students' parents earn so if you can't afford it they will help! Just have to do some research and always ask questions. Don't take no for an answer if you have a dream!

USC is a private university so they have a lot of funding for international students! It is one of the most diverse universities in the world! Call or email the international students line for USC and they can help you apply!
Yeah because in our school we don't have the same characteristics as American Schools.. I really want to apply but how can an international student get scholarship? I can't call them because the call from Europe to USA can be very expensive but I would like to Email them for some information.. Do you know where can I find their E-mail? :)
And I still have 2 full years of High School but I am just trying to get as much information as I can now so I'll know what I want/what I can afford in the future :)

ois@usc.edu - here is the international services email. Just let them know you want more information on applying as an international student! (including scholarships) and they will be able to direct you!

This is beautiful but it leaves out the fact that the surrounding neighborhood is ghetto. Literally outside the gates is like a old convenience store and run down houses. Just keep in mind that it’s not a college town. This shouldn’t stop you but it’s just a little fact for those who have never been near the campus
USC is actually a school that requires high academic standing.

What they don’t show you...USC is veryyyy close to the ghetto. You can literally walk to skid row from campus
Arkansauce76 That was a WHOLE reach. Skid row is in downtown la which is a full train ride away from the school lmao.
@@worstnightmare8542 - I keep hearing it's the hood but when I go I don't see anything bad. I guess California hood is less hood than New Jersey hood. I just wouldn't go walking around at night off campus. It's dangerous.
@@nkwari University Park area is pretty safe to walk around at night, as I have done and my friends have done countless times. Don't believe the stereotypes. Just don't go west of Vermont and you're fine.
