Portillos originated in my home town. I was so glad to see one in Orlando while vacationing last week! ....and it's Villa Park 🙄 Dick Portillo would have never allowed that misprint

Portillos is by far the best fast food restaurant ever, a Chicago staple and I have no idea why it’s not nationwide….the big beef dipped and cheese fries is a never fail order

I lived a few blocks from Villa Park, Il where it was founded and lived across the street from a Portillo's. I walked over all the time since it's so addicting.
Man whenever Adam mentions the slide I always laugh. I remember watching that video when it was new, the first video I ever discovered on your channel cause I watching movie history and filming location pages! I got my dad hooked on you and now we watch your videos all the time not to mention we always reference things you say haha. Love the videos and keep up the great work!

I live in the Chicago area and Italian beefs are my favorite food, so I am a Portillo’s and Bouna beef expert! Next time you visit the amazing Portillo’s establishment, I highly suggest getting the beef and cheddar croissant 🥐 it is amazing! It is only made better by adding a cheese fry side dish. You will thank me! And hearing you try to pronounce everything made my day! I didn’t realize how these foods are unique only to the Chicago area until now! We have them in almost every town, and I never realized how lucky we are! I will appreciate it more now!

Next time you go to Portillo's get the Italian beef sandwich forget the beef and cheddar on a croissant. Definitely go for that chocolate cake shake It's worth it! And those cheese fries are to die for! To give you a little slight correction those black seeds and the buns are actually poppy seeds.

It's weird how the Portillo's interior theme can change from location to location. I'd say the location in this video is 50's/60's themed.... and the location near me is 30's speakeasy/mobster themed.

I grew up on Portillos! They have the absolute best Beef sandwich with sweet peppers and that juice is to die for!!! Where I live now, we don't have one, so I cannot wait to head back down to Orlando and get my beloved sandwich!! Villa Park Dog House brings back memories :) Decor is amazing.

I grew up on Portillos! They have the absolute best Beef sandwich with sweet peppers and that juice is to die for!!! Where I live now, we don't have one, so I cannot wait to head back down to Orlando and get my beloved sandwich!! Villa Park Dog House brings back memories :) Decor is amazing.
This makes me Chicago heart happy Portillos right next to White Castles! I always get the Italian beef and ask them to dip it! Also the cake is delicious!
Portillos fail. You don’t go to portillos or any Chicago restaurant and not get the Italian beef. New video will be required

The food used to be great until they changed owners. Now even the ones here in Chicago are garbage! The chocolate cake is still the same. Everything else has been changed.
Agreed! The Portillos out In the NW burbs have changed their Italian beef! Have they done this In the city as well?

Agree 100 percent. People who have been in the Chicago area for decades will tell you. We know how good it used to be. We're the only ones who know what DICK'S Portillo's was really like.
That's what I've heard from someone that works there too. The quality of the food had all been downgraded by the new owners.

HEY ATW...ANOTHER AWESOME RESTAURANT opens in Orlando? I'll have to admit, I'm starting to get a little jealous that Orlando has so many cool venues for food and fun! That chili cheese dog looked phenomenal! Was it good? Close Encounters music, movie stars!?!! I want to move to Orlando for the food! Onion rings piled sky-high! I loved this vlog and I gotta get me some Portillo's!
