When I was young it was called "Der Wienershnitzel" and they had a theme song: "Der Wienershnitzel, Wienershnitzel, This must be the place. Just drive right in and put a great big hot dog in your face."
I have been watching Adam for years now, off and on, and we even met him in person a couple years ago (super nice guy). This seemingly generic video is absolutely mesmerizing. How Adam manages to get 21.5 minutes out of buying and eating three hot dogs - and making it utterly entertaining - is a true gift. Just the observational details - from the $1.50 water to the empty store (almost creepy!) to the pointless patches of grass that Adam might pave over - IT IS HILARIOUS AND BRILLIANT. It is literally Zen meditation pop culture. Hail, Adam the Woo!
The town I live in has one of the old school a-frames with the drive-thru going through the center of the building. There's no inside seating. Only other access is a street side walk-up window.
Keep doing you Adam! We like all the videos you do and it doesn’t matter if it’s mukbang or just talking walking around! Thank you for allowing us into your day to day little adventures!
15:30 and the commentary about seeing people recording themselves in public - I could NOT stop laughing. I love watching vlogs, but it’s always strange to see you all in the wild. Kudos to you for being able to block it out & power through it.
You are the only person who I get a kick out of watching eat. You carry on a conversation, eat, and make it all interesting. great as usual, Adam 🤠🌭🌭🌭👏
It should be America's favorite it should be a law that this franchise should be in every state especially Michigan way to go Adam way to go I hope they have these in Vegas for my event next month! You're killing me with these sauerkraut dogs!
I felt a dark ambience throughout today’s show. I rewatched it to get where I was going here and the “Vienna Beef” really brought it home. Thank you Mr Adam.
I know what you mean, when you get on a certain food kick !...I've been going to Cosco for their hot dogs for a while now.....Back in the 1990's when NY. NY. Casino opened, there was a Nathan's inside. So Me and another Crazy New Yorker made a " midnite run " to Vegas from Big Bear in a '71 Camero...to "pig-out" at the new Nathan's....Adam , your video just reminded me of that !......Thank you, glad you're back in Socal....
Cheers to you, dear Mr. Woo. The kraut is cabbage. In my state of NC, you would normally get a hot dog with mustard, chili, onions, and slaw. Some add mayo as well. Appreciate your unpretentious vlogs. You find the pleasure in the simple and the sophisticated, which makes you a wonderful resource of information and entertainment. Thanks 😊
I've watched the vlog now, never knew until you went on a hot dog quest that there were so many choices lol, that junkyard one 👍🏻, never heard the word wienershnitzel before, after your vlog I'm sure i won't forget it 😂 enjoyed the vlog Adam
Ahhh! This one was hard to watch, grew up in Southern California it was our favorites!!!! Thank you for bringing back happy memories!!! Those dogs looked sooooo good!!!
Watching a lot of hotdog vlogs, driving me crazy, miss those all so much. Trying to catchup on your vlogs Adam. Take care of yourself ,really enjoy your humor and glad I started watching you. God Bless your wonderful family too,😀❤️🙏
Love the shirt! A sign of a true Disney fan. Hot dogs looked so good even though I never eat them. I live in a city where coney dogs are famous from a facility that has been in business over 100 years. People love their dogs.
Our Weienershnitzel closed years ago here in Allentown, Pennsylvania.I remember they use to sell the footlong 🌭 hotdogs but there chilli cheese fries were the best!!! Man i miss that place.👍✌
Once again a great video Adam. Apparently Wiener schnitzel, sometimes spelled Wienerschnitzel, as in Switzerland, is a type of schnitzel made of a thin, breaded, pan-fried veal cutlet. It is one of the best known specialities of Viennese cuisine, and one of the national dishes of Austria.
Loved this video so much. Thanks Adam. Also realized I am the same age as Weinerschnitzel (1961) - I turn 60 on August 16 so maybe should celebrate with some chilidogs! 🌭🌭🌭
Hi Adam I enjoy your channel. You should try “The Dog Haus” they have several locations throughout SoCal. The hot dogs and burgers there are delicious. They use Kings Hawaiian rolls as buns. They also have location that have a beer garden.
Adam, we have Wienerschnitzel in Arizona, too. And sauerkraut is shredded cabbage that is pickled or fermented with lots of salt and vinegar. Those looked delicious! BTW, I've never been to a Wienerschnitzel here in Arizona, but since I'm originally from Chicago, I have perfected the making of Chicago dogs. We can get Vienna dogs here. Also, we have Portillo's, a Chicago based chain specializing in hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. And they are delicious!
Adam, you crack me up, by your reaction to people looking at you while eating and talking to your camera.. I couldn’t do it. Enjoy watching you enjoying your meals. In fact my son made a favorite of yours. Spaghetti and chili 🌶, it was delicious!
I grew up very close to this specific Wiernerschnitzel in Orange, CA. In the late 70s, I used to ride my bike there and eat and stop by at the Licorice Pizza, which was in that same strip mall, to eat a complimentary piece of licorice and look at the latest records on my way home.
A fun late night food adventure! 🌭 I haven’t seen the guarded look 👀 of random passer-by’s since the sketchy Naugles lunch at the Stanton park adventure. Be careful out there in the Wild West! 🤠
I loved Wienerschnitzel! Sauerkraut is fermented cabbage and is loaded with vitamin C. Growing up I always got two Kraut dogs and a chocolate shake 😋. Wish I had one nearby!
Now that is my kind of hot dog place. Wonder where all they’re located. Never seen one anywhere on my side of the country. Love hot dogs. Thank you for bringing us along on your dinner time eats. Enjoyed watching you eat those good looking hot dogs.
Look so good. I do remember junkyard dog with iron sheik and Hogan. He use to wear a chain like a dog tied out in older days. Chicago dog looks so Darn tasty.
here you go adam hope this helps ( Sauerkraut is finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. It has a long shelf life and a distinctive sour flavour, both of which result from the lactic acid formed when the bacteria ferment the sugars in the cabbage leaves. It is one of the best known national dishes in Germany ).
Great companion video from the Angel games. Der Weinerschnitzel opened in 1961. Same year that the Angels started playing. 60th Amniversary for both! My favorite team and hot dog!
I LOVE Wienerschnitzel! There is one only about one mile from my house in El Paso, TX. My 'usual' is the Deluxe Dog and a Corn Dog or two. Their corn dogs are excellent.
You were kinda right! Sauerkraut is picked chopped cabbage! I like going to Weiner Schnitzel one in a long while. It’s an old place that still gives a good dog. My city has a fancier dog spot but often I just want a simple dog with mustard and kraut.
Growing up in SoCal ( now living in Stockholm ) you sure brought back memories… back in 70’s we often went cruising in my Pinto and stop at “ Derwinnie “as we called it for a evening snack it was either there are Pup n Taco are those still around? Back then when gas was 35 cents a gallon you could buy 8 dogs for a buck even with Chili,
Saucraut is a white shredded cabbage, pickled in salt and own juice. Sugar, carrot or herbs can be added. It's often eaten as side salad in Europe. It helps to break down fats fast and digest the food. X
Adam! I was picking up a Reese’s candy shake at 9pm last night but at the one on Chapman Ave right off the 57 lol would’ve been cool to see you, great vid as always
I love your Mickey shirt. I look forward to your FL vlogs. I know the humidity is unbearable now. It should be better in October I miss seeing you at WDW.
Used to be called Der Weinerschnitzel. We have three of them in South Texas. pretty good cause theyre open all night!! Be sure to get a Polish Sandwich and chili cheese fries!
There was a Der Weinerschnitzel in Center Point, Al when I was a kid. The building was a very steep, red A frame and the A was pointed. We ate there quite a few times on our way to the Mustang Drive Inn Theater, then they went out of business. Didn't know until now they were a chain. Sneaky Pete's is the hot dog chain in the Southern US and their Junkyard dog is so big you can't even see the bun. You have to eat it with a fork. It has everything yours had except fries. Cole slaw, sauerkraut, onions, chili, relish, Sneaky Pete sauce and cheese sauce covers these dogs and buns completely.
Ever go to Longdoggers on the coast? About an hour due East of Orlando??? They have Footlongs😎LOL started with 1 about 24 years ago, in Indialantic and now there are 5! Newest one in Cocoa Beach!
“The worlds most wanted wiener”
I wish I had that moniker
"The hot dog wanted in all 50 states"
....and it's name is Peter North. Lol
Sour crout is fermented cabbage.
Carolina dogs, I’m on the way!
When I was young it was called "Der Wienershnitzel" and they had a theme song: "Der Wienershnitzel, Wienershnitzel, This must be the place. Just drive right in and put a great big hot dog in your face."
My mom still calls it that.
🤣
😆
I still call it Der Wienerschnitzel. haha
Lol! @ Great big hot dog in your face! 😂
This dude could review Home Depot and it will be pretty interesting.
I miss those Depot dogs
Nah fr though 😂😂😂
Home depot is interesting af

Every time I see "Tastee Freeze" I think about the song Jack and Diane.
Dang it, I was going to post "Sucking on Chili Dog, outside of Tastee Freez..."
I had the same thought skaluv!
Me too!👍😁
I just watched the video and did not pre-read any comments and literally wrote the same thing!
Ha 🤣
I thought you were going to say, “every time I see Adam he’s eating again” 🙄
Gotta change the name of the channel to “The Daily Hotdog”
Lol
😂😂😂
He tends to pick a thing and get stuck,... ( course, when you have no real content,...🤭)
Definitely sounds better than “The Daily Wiener”…
The town I live in has one of the old school a-frames with the drive-thru going through the center of the building. There's no inside seating. Only other access is a street side walk-up window.
Adam, seriously love the variety you bring every day. You're the best. Love ya buddy!
Never thought a video about hotdogs could be so entertaining. You’re the Charles Kuralt of UA-cam!
Costco has a good beef hot dog and soda for $1.50.

Thr insanely good and ridic cheap!
Grew up in Southern CA and that’s one of my favorite hot dog places to eat. Enjoyed this vlog!
This is a man who clearly loves his hot dogs 😊
I love the look of the building. The hotdogs sound yummy! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I love the little blinking signs. Reminds me of those little lighted Christmas house figurings.
Love this kind of vlog simple and to much thought needed, more please Adam.
I have loved the baseball content too and the “dogs look delicious! I loved that cheese sandwich review! Thanks for sharing👍

Loved when he said “it adds to the experience, you should try it sometime” 🤣
😂😂😂
Thank you Adam! I’m truly loving your SoCal hot dog adventures
~ Sauerkraut is finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria.
YUMMY 😬😬🤣
Love it
It's super easy to make
I missed your food reviews! I loved when you were going around trying local eateries last year right after the lockdowns.
Correct, white cabbage, sliced and put in a barrel with vinegar: sourkraut
You are the only person who I get

I love when Adam does food review videos! He eats food like he means it, no picking and pussyfooting around. I 💘 it!

Yup, got the polish sandwich there many times in the 70s.
We’re going to need a final dog ranking among the hotdog places of SoCal.
Nice to see ya again. I been away. I need to go to one of these some day. I’ve known of them all my life and never went. 🙏🏼👍❣️🌭
Enjoyed the video and with it taking place in the evening, was able to see a snippet of California neon lighting.
Oh the memories! 😁 They were here in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 70’s. Thanks Adam! ✌️
Love your videos adam. Keep up the good work!
I LOVE Wienershnitzel miss mine in Huntington Beach. Thanks for sharing :)

Hi Adam awesome vlog at Wienerschnitzel hot dogs 🌭. My late dad and I always enjoyed their chili dogs and chili cheese fries. StT well and safe 👍🏻
We had one where I grew up. My go to was Chili, Cheese and Sauerkraut.

Yes Adam its shreded pickled cabbage. In Europe where I'm from we call it "Sour Cabbage". We make it at home.
Kraut is pickled cabbage! You are correct sir 😎👍 Traditionally served warm with caraway seeds, but can be delicious cold as well 😎
i just love this guy, an avalanche of coolness.

The 9:00 minute mark features perhaps your best Cinematography, Mr. Woo. Bravo. And this video is making me want to revisit my Descendants CDs.
Nice. What's on the Aussie dog?
W. used to be in Texas. Haven't seen one in years. Thanks for posting ~
I'm eating Portillos while watching your vlog. 😂😂 Also, Junkyard Dog was my fave wrestler in 1988! 😉
When you come back to Florida, you need to check out Herrell's in Winter Garden. Heck, I'll buy your lunch! I can walk there.
The Chicago dog that you had on your trip there is it still the best one?
Years ago they had one in the pompano fashion square mall in pompano beach Florida

Good choice on the ALL BEEF. Love the food reviews and not doing the same places everyone else is doing.
