They call it an Admiral Pack because you need an Admiral’s salary to buy one
facts
pfft it's like if you go to a restaurant and you eat too much, and then you proceed to sue the chef for making you fat. people who have more money than brains, like those who would spend $1000 or more to buy a video game console on the first day that it comes out, are the problem. I consider it to be a crime for a company not to be making money from dumb people like these. the only time I would pay for a ship is when i am in dockyard and I have to pay for the number of levels required (mostly 3 or 4 out of 30 or 40) I just play to get whatever Early Access ships as I can and wait for everything else to go public before I research it for free
Long time player ... now completely immune to FOMO, gamble box events, and massively over-priced ships. A couple times a year I do drop $10 or so for dubs, 50% coupon deals, or cheap deals like AL Littorio but that's it.
I’m immune to FOMO in Warships. I just don’t care enough to have to have every ship.
This is the way
I only want a very few. I wanted the Wisconsin and the West Virginia 44, I bought a starter pack, but I'll never get either in the Dockyard.
For sure....
@@Bohdisattva326 Without a doubt...
Same
With all those Freemiums for coal or steel, why spend money for premium ships?
Just do xmas containers only as a xmas gift for yourself and ofc if you like dockyards and battlepasses get those.. Only premium i ever paid actual money for was Flandre and im most likely never doing something like that again.
because there are greater and fun play style
@@FrostBeam009 I get Tirpitz as a gift and only bought as a money Massa, Agincourt, Karl.
yeah i think the last ship i actually bought from the online store was ise when it was released 2021
Because I want to
So I started to halfway grind for the Wisconsin because I have little money. Then by some miracle, I got a West Virginia '44 out of a supercontainer from regular play. I figured I might as well grind it out. 99% of my games were done in co-op mode, as I despise playing randos b/c of the toxicity and my team usually being dead in the first minute of play. I eventually figured out that Pommern was the tool to get the job done, and I finished last night, having paid no monies for the thing. Nice ship, Wisconsin.
Now, if I ever mention about grinding for another dockyard ship, I want someone to whack me in the back of the head with a 2X4 and lock me in a cellar until the event is over.
Tanks used to do FOMO with new tech lines 10-12 years ago. Many tier 10s would be OP, and whales would throw money/resources to have them on the first day. Then by the time the masses would be in distance to get the new shiny toy, and the complaints of the unbalanced tanks would be all over the forums, the nerf bat would come out and "fix" the tank. And then a few weeks later the next line is out, and repeat the FOMO for the next tier 10 shiny toy. As long as whales wanted that new tank to seal club at higher tiers, WG was happy to oblige.
Also patch cycles are 4 weeks. But a couple times a year they will do 5 weeks to try to keep the patches to one a month.
The Lowe stands out especially in your example.
Hi Sealord - thanks for addressing this topic - I have noticed this happening over the past year or so - this “FOMO” tactic - it really stinks but of all those ships you mentioned none of them are any better than what’s out there unless you really need those gimmicks and after 8-9 years here I really don’t - - I do collect ships but honestly the ones you mentioned really don’t give me an itch to open my wallet - for me my port is full of gimmicks - I stopped allowing FOMO to dictate buying them and now just wait til Christmas like I do and buy the Xmas crates - the 7 crate strategy is what I use - buy at least 7 and you will get at least 1 ship - given that I Donot sell any of them my chances of getting a ship increase - you once said that the mechanics that give you a ship look at your port and not selling them means I am likely to get what I want - it’s a game of patience and I am good with that - I wish they would stop gimicking ships and allow us to buy the modules we want not choose from a few options - for me “historical” accuracy isn’t as important as having a chance - plus there’s really no way to learn all the reasons to mount these modules - I swear if I watch some of you long time players - your using different builds for the battles - I am sure more players would play if they were not so frustrated with the lack of understanding and war games does a great job at making that harder - today - I can’t earn flags like we used too and credits - forget it - this is a money grab - no wonder the server has less than 6000 people playing - the grind is a bit steep for new players - that being said it’s a strategy game and that still has a good appeal - the ships and art work is the best part - i look forward to the game but I wish we could just buy what we want when we want too - I work hard in life and when I come here I feel worse - they need to bring back fun - they lost the concept of fun - these game modes need to be here I love the d-day mode and airship but there are times this game feels so thin when we are between patches - let us buy the modules we want - let us buy the ships we want - that’s really what they need too do - the FOMO is dumb - game modes are fun BRING BACK THE FUN - also I am happy you kept your music at the end of your videos - big fan - thank you your a goto for ship info for me and your not even a CC
I think WG decided some time ago to focus on new/young players, who may fall for FOMO easier.
Fomo is a terrible business model but so many gaming companies are doing it.
They only do it cause it’s so successful, if the community were to just boycott it for a while they’d stop but a large majority of the big spenders won’t due to the fomo
@@helekachopter696 Its not successful in the long term. I have quite a few friends that say they "Just don't enjoy video games anymore" and its because they're designed like jobs and casino's. These buisness models burn players out for the sake of short term profits. That's why most games are quickly forgotten or die off and the gaming enviroment feels like a flavour of the month culture. Everyone always jumping to a new and exciting thing because in truth you get burned by most Triple A games these days. Bad launches. Rushed development, overmonetized, every game demands you play it full time or tries to make you feel like shit via fomo and battlepasses. Its insane
@@Blythe985 I agree with you but unfortunately companies like wargaming don’t give a rats ass about the future tbh or should I say in the recent years they care less and less about
@@helekachopter696 I think its mostly shareholders and publishers that cause these issues. Dev studio's should not be publicly traded. The moment some investor who is trying to make a quick buck can tell a video game designer how to make their game we set ourselves up for disaster. Not gonna start a capitalism bad rant but capitalism really is terrible lol
@@Blythe985 I agree 💯 you ain’t wrong
I have no problem with the FOMO tactic. As long as new ships are not over-powered, I am fine with them selling them any way they want to.....except by gambling, which I think is unethical and even illegal in some places. Just make new ships no stronger than current ships, that way the game is not pay to win, which is horrible. Much prefer FOMO to gambling in all its forms.
The overpoweredness is key to the FOMO though. Without that, nobody cares about missing out.
@Mr-LL
Exactly. There's only a very few I want.
@@blackrican924
Yep. One way they get pay to win, and pay to play.
Move all cvs and subs to tier 8,9,10. Let newer players who can’t spent money enjoy the learning of just bbs, cruisers, and dd
After five years of playing the game in the last year, I've concluded that I've had enough of WG and their tactics. I decided today to uninstall the game. I don't play it as much as I used to (maybe once a week for a few hours). So I'll transfer my loyalty to my other games...Cold Waters & Fallout 3 & 4.
WV 44 was in Santa Crates BTW.
And dockyard missions
@@hanifsiraj7657as he mentioned in this video...
IIRC, a number of those ships you mention were also in the Christmas containers.
I'm a long time WoT player and the scummy monetization tactics in that game closed my wallet for anything Wargaming related. WoWS dev team may be different. But the fat cats are the same.
Speaking of tech tree early access, i think WG also used one more bait tactics with Commonwealth cruisers - the free event pass gave enough tokens for up to tier 5. And just 50 short of tier 6. I'm 100% sure that there were people who thought "damn, i'm so close, i might as well buy improved rewards!"
Since they forced Subs Superships and Op Cv´s down our Throat i dont spend a single € on the Game....
Stop putting superships in the same breath as carriers and subs, Theyre just tier 11s with gimmicks, Satsuma and Hannover arent even as good as Krenlim ffs
That's so stupid. Subs and CVs belong in the game, they didn't force anything on you. You are free to leave at anytime. Now superships was an unneeded addition, could of just made them premiums or part of new tech lines. Keep that kind of nonsense talk for talking about DEI in movies, TV and games.
@@quor2243 subs have been forced on us. I played the game before subs arrived, i didn't ask for them or want them. the game is in a worse place because of them in my opinion.
@@Dave_Allen in basiclly everyones opinion, Vesta and even console wargaming are taking steps to listen to players just not the NA/EU Devs in PC, its like they arent even doing it for money any more, just ego
They’re more like 10.5 the armor is still tier10 standards usually with larger guns an gimmicks
Not wanting to start another, new argument ... but to me it seems that either players can spend an outrageous amount of money to get premium ships, or they can spend an outrageous amount of time to get steel (and other forms of WG credit) to get premium ships. As I believe I've heard you say in more than one video, "Gone are the days when a new player can grind a line from beginning to tier 10 in a reasonable amount of time." (Pardon the paraphrase; I don't remember the exact words you used but I think I have the gist of it.) The only way to cut down the amount of time required to get either a new ship, or complete a line, is to spend even more money on premium time. I think that the days that have gone are indeed the days where WG care about anything except their profits; as, in my opinion, not only has customer satisfaction been relegate to the back seat, I'm not sure it's even in the car anymore. The CV rework, and the introduction of subs with fantasy abilities and OP homing torps are only the most blatant examples that I can think of.
FOMO made me walk away from WoT after being a dedicated player for 8 yrs, thought WoW was more player friendly. And I think it still is compared to the disgusting model in WoT. Still, I do see WoW headed in that direction, so sad.
@@rottenrod2391 Agree, completely.
Dockyard ships in themselves are FOMO too, as they're pretty much never available again if you don't participate the first time. At least in War Thunder you can choose to buy event vehicles in the secondary market (at outrageous prices).
I have no problem spending money just not too much and it was many years since I bought something like an Admiral pack and 36450 doubloons for an AL Shima. 🤣
I'm a new player (3 days) and i see the premium ship event (X Wisconsin). i'd love to have it and honestly i really don't want to spend real money for it. with only 5 days left, i doubt i will get it (it's quite a grind...), but hey... i still enjoy the game so far and have a lot to learn.
Yeah with so little time left there is basically no way you could get Wisconsin, even skilled veteran players would need at least 2 weeks to do all the missions. Your best hope is to still be playing around Christmas and hope Santa plays nice and gives her to ya' with your free Santa boxes. There is also a chance they will do her dockyard again, but don't hold your breath on that.
Welcome to the game by the way, try to not let people's negative takes spoil what is a fun game. o7
Enjoy the game and remember to have fun.
Newbie here as well, got the grind down to the Virginia 44' but holy smokes it was tough, especially getting 30 million damage received in a cruiser. Wisconsin is totally out of reach for me.
@@morrisenslin2194 Yeah the grind is meant to take most of the length of the dockyard. Congrats on getting WV 44.
As you might guess as well the grind was easier for veteran players like myself. As I could just hop in my Stalingrad, Puerto Rico, and Gouden Leeuw to more easily farm potential damage. As those are armoured more like Battleships than cruisers. Dockyards get easier as your ship roster expands, but don't feel rushed to get into different tech trees. Find the one you love and love it. :)
@@morrisenslin2194 Just continue playing and have fun. Concentrate on tech tree ships. Most of this stuff costs big money, doubloons and all of that.
The only ship in the trade-in lineup that i want is the Karl 14 Johann, San Diego looks interesting, but it’s still an Atlanta at t8, plus the Johann can take advantage of EU captain’s torp bonus. Fortunately i can just hand over my pomern then just get it for half my current coal supply.
Hello. Just to point out, hopefully helpfully. Trading Pommern for Karl Johan is bad economy. F Sherman only costs 232k coal, so only 4k more than Pommern, and you get 17k350 doubloons trade in value on it. Pommern only gives 9k500 doubloons trade in. So effectively using F Sherman instead of Pommern saves you almost 8k doubloons for 4k extra coal. Much better way to trade!
I just play the game with no intent of having to complete some mission to progress in a Dockyard for a ship I'll never get to. I have an Iowa, a Wisconsin is an Iowa with a piece of tape over the screen that says Wisconsin put in place of Iowa. My son buys me a 6 mo. premium account every Christmas and Father's day and that is all that's bought. Happy to progress though the tech lines and receive the odd gift here and there.
This is what I am about 100%... I guess being retired with other games to play has something to do with it. Premium time is the only thing worth buying if you buy it. I get my premium time through containers and giveaways. Have not spent a dime since 2018.
Hate that Fomo bullshit WGs doing ...
The Karl XIV Johan is available in the ongiong exchange event when you Trade in a T10 Coal ship you only need to Put 1350 ish Dubs in to get her and the Coal ship can be obtained later "theoretically" for free
Tbh I'm actually thinking I'll do that 😂 I have enough coal to instantly replace the ship I'll trade (napoli) and I'll have the Karl Johan without paying any real money as I have spare dubs from super containers, only way I was gonna be able to get the Karl Johan
@@00spinz35 same for me :D traded the Chaba in
Traded in my Yoshino and 1250 dubs to get Karl XIV Johan. Have barely touched Yosinho but Karl....oh baby. Well worth the little extra to get it.

W Virginia 44 was in Santa crates
WG counting on me for a FOMO purchase... not gonna happen.
Their predatory monetisation is getting well out of hand and makes me far less inclined to continue playing. This is from someone who has been playing since closed beta.
I mean this sort of thing is nothing new for World of Warships, it's just Wargaming are doing it more often now. Lets not forget Champagne, the 4th Richelieu class and the most unique of all of them, that has been for sale a grand total of 3 weeks in her entire time in the game. 2 weeks when she first released in June of 2020, and another week in October of 2020. To only return ONCE since then in a random bundle. 4 years on and she's still not for sale in any permanent way.
Honestly I don't agree with Wargaming selling ships this way, but it's their game, their cash shop. Even when they remove ships from sale because they are "to popular" I wish they would just nerf those ships so that we could still buy them, but seeing as the player base was rioting over Giulio Cesare, T7 Belfast, Kamikaze, and I'm sure a few others being suggested to be nerfed. I can't blame Wargaming for taking the easy route. Would make the game a whole lot healthier if those ships would simply get nerfed and returned to sale though.
she was also available and still is in t7 crate for community tokens. which can be obtained for free - but in that case she is one of possible drops so not guaranteed
did you also see the new event of 'exchanging ships'? First I thought wow i can trade in a Tier 9 for a Tier 9? wow that amazing, but no, you have to pay more to have it exchanged or you can trade a tier 10 for a tier 8 for free, absolutly disgusting
It's actually not that bad, depending on how you use it. You can trade coal ships for doubloon ships, so I'm going to trade Forrest Sherman for Minegumo, then rebuy Sherman for coal.
Not bad for someone like me who has most premiums and all coal ships.
WG when they do trades has always been like the car dealership. A used car/tank/ship is only worth half of their purchase price. I'm fine with that. What is disappointing for me is they are trying to get people to turn in the highly sought, been removed from sale ships and trade them in for ships that are either meh, or you can get for free with coal/steel/RB points. Plus the list of ships to acquire in the trade in is really thin.
WOT player here. WG had three loot box events and one special pay to participate event for premium tanks, in the beginning of this year. WG only sells many new premium tanks through loot boxes, and in the last couple of year a few of these premiums have be very overpowered. They also have special battle pass events where you have to pay for the privilege to grind for the premium tank. While there are still some free to play events they are less and less as time goes on, and the other rewards from events are also getting nerfed from time to time. WG has premium tanks for bonds, the battle pass, and twitch drops that you can get for free, but most of those are mediocre. WOT's new battle pass is now offering three new (reskinned) tier 6 premium tanks, one for each of the three chapters for free, which is something new. But I have learned after playing WOTs for almost a decade that WG usually does this when they feel the pain of backlash from something they have done or they are about to do something that is going to anger the player base. WG gives with one hand and takes with three other, that's WG.
I stopped buying new premiums long ago. Many are never seen in battle after a couple of months because they are duds.
However I still buy mature premiums if they show staying power in terms of popularity. T8s are the highest pricex ships i will pay for.
Not to mention the Minegumo. Not that there would be much demand. FOMO short avaliable time also limits the review time so players can't know how if it is worth it. That is also helped by WGing gutting the CC program and killing the forum. Play the ships you have/like.
I looked in the Armory this week and did not see the Rodney. (special reason for interest but if it's crap.......)
For me it took a very long time to grind up to tier ten. (Shimakaze) I like playing mid tier ships just fine. But then I am not particularly competitive. I play for fun and diversion, if it's not fun I don't play. FTP unless there is a very good reason, so far not so much.
Here's a test for WG, make a Ukranian flag avaliable. (never happen I know, can't even get an IJN naval ensign or correct admiral's pennant, even in a mod pack.)
I dont see it as a problem, but im coming from a gatcha background. So im used to looking and being like oh that would be nice but im still in my saving phase..
Well I guess if I don’t get this ship I’ll have to play one of the other couple hundred I have in port. 😂😂😂😂. Ain’t falling for it yuri
I just can't believe anyone seriously spends anything over like $20-25 bucks on this game on one Ship. Never played a F2P game where characters/skins or Ships in this case, were up to $80-100 by themselves, the market in WoW is absolutely insane highway robbery. I wanted the Massachusetts but was not spending the outright cost so I just used extra Doubloons I got through free ways and a coupon and got it for like $20 I think and that should be normal price.
I don’t mind FOMO sales, people can spend their money how they want. My big complaints are the money grind within the standard tech tree and boring stale play modes. If we had more and better play modes I might play more for fun rather than an obligation to grind.
Still the most expensive "free to play"Game imoo
Bet they all show up in Santa crates.
I have been trying to get the Missouri for years. Why WG would hide it away in their attic when players would be willing to purchase it makes no sense, unless your trying to minimize profits and the health of the company.
Kitakami, R. Di Lauria, Chikuma 2, Komissar, Rodney.
Some kind of early access with extra camo, other slot machine behind multiple levels of luck, some inside ridiculous low chance of crates drop.
Can't forget what WG did to supercontainers:
Last time I buyed 110 of them in so called Anniversary event, 0 drop (assured drop after 250 open).
On other side you can get early access tree ships just by playing other at least T5, I guess. Early access is literally zero grind👍(sure except those in prem BP and T10)
Hey bro, you need to do a video on the exchange premium ships for other premium shifts for discounted gold cost.....
As scummy as it might be, WG keeps using FOMO because it has worked out for them. Therefore, they have no reason to stop doing it. Ever since subs came out, I went from playing everyday for at least 4 hours, to playing a couple of days a week, for a couple of hours. Hence, I decided not to spend money on this game anymore, not even premium time. So for me, FOMO is not a factor anymore.
Just about had it with this game. Years ago I started out bad, and have been working to improve. Got to the 52% mark recently which while not great, I still think it's decent. I try to be precise in my game play so that while I don't often carry, my contribution to the team effort can be significant. And occasionally I still throw a stinker in there, but not too much anymore.
The last few weeks have been extremely frustrating. Been on teams that outright die so soon it's hard to get wins. Tonight was 5-13, even with my contribution usually being top 1-5. Then you get so frustrated you start playing sloppy.
I usually buy the yearly premium, but won't spend another $ on a ship. Not sure if I'll renew the premium account when it runs out. Right now a long break from the game seems in order.
Any time i see a time limit on a purchase, i instantly stop wanting it, i see the company trying to play me like a pawn and it puts me off to the whole idea of spending a penny with you. I did partake in the trade in event, but only for the Karl 14th, and San Diego via trading in t10 coal ships. WG gets no money from me for going on a year now. Ever since t11 my wallet closed.
It took me 2 months to round up the stuff to get a computer to run, to come back to World of Warships.
I wanted to go for the Wisconsin. No way I make it. I wish I hadn't wasted the money on a starter pack.
I'm pretty sure I wish I hadn't come back. I can't break even in anything but co-op battles. I lost any edge I ever had. If those are the only battles I can win, not sure I'll keep playing.
One thing that could make it less unbearable was if Wagaming added a "Price = ship" mechanic, where in sequential bundles, if the amount of doubloons you spent becomes equal, or surpasses the value of that ship, you are automatically given the ship on the next roll. No one needs to pay 50 or 100% more doubloons then the regular value in doubloons for ONE ship.
I got W.VA '44 by grinding to it in the event. So totally free. After that I stopped playing because I don't need a T9 ship that has been marked up to T10.
I got the wiesbaden in 8th crate, it came with 10pt cpt, thats it, no flag or cr boost, chinsy
Reason's I'm annoyed with Vietnam's Steam ban recently. It's near forcing me back to WG and Gaijan for games to play.
WG will not be seeing much real money from me, being retired, I don't have money for pixels.
Thanks
Disney perfected this 40 years ago by "bringing out of the vault for a limited time" VHS and DVD movies for a month or two, then removing them from all the stores. Nothing new really. ;)
That's an interesting point but the results for the customer wasn't the same.
Those movies could be rented afterwards so there was still some access to them, not to mention those who made copies of those movies which was extremely common back then. If ya couldn't do it yourself, chances are ya knew someone who could. I knew a video store owner who did that as a side hustle. So there were work-a-rounds for the consumer.
When the ships are taken away, there's no way around it, they are gone until they come back with elevated monetary conditions.
Don't forget the Nicoli.
Unfortunately, I've fallen for FOMO a few times... but I promised myself that the last time would be the last. I sat down with myself and set a limit for wg and from now on, my budget for a ship is capped. I've decided to buy only one ship per year. So, if at the beginning of the year they try to sell us ship 'A' and I buy it, and then ship 'B' comes out which is better than 'A', I simply won't buy it, no matter what. We need to fight against wg because they are like thieves trying to rob us of all our money.

The monetization is getting more and more heavy by the day in wot too. I suspect wg is seeing the death of the games on the horizon, and want to squeeze as much money as possible out of the players before that happens.

@@JustHearMeOut_YT I'm gonna think about handling Yoshino (wich i recently bought for coal, so its gonna hurt me a little) and getting K14J, really there might be not a slightest chance to get this BB in upcoming months. Especially for such a reasonable price.
@@papaversomniferum2365 as an owner of both, KJXiV is more fun to play. I would make that trade.
I got my WV’44 in a Xmas crate.
Is November or December the best month to lay down cash for Warships? A friend of mine told me that November is the month of months for the year.
December. Xmas containers and half price premium time. November used to be before the Black Ships took over. Those can have nice sales but there used to be even better ones, like the 12 days of Xmas, which was likely December now that I type it.
@@xPureNRG007x thank ya, sir!
Well said SLM!
Dude, you need to do a video on how complex they have made so, so, so many different functions of the game. From currency (dubs, credits, steel, coal, XP, ship XP, commander XP, research points, did I miss any) to hidden tech line bonuses (improved pen angles, increased HE pen, spaced armour, turtle back citadels, etc) that unless you are borderline autistic in the details of a game, you will never know. The amount of different “collections” and the how to unlock certain unique commanders or ships (Somme for example) is even not 100% clear to a person, heck, you look in the coal containers area, it doesn’t even tell you if you have completed that collection (or, if it does, I can’t see how).
I do spend money on the game though normally only for premium time. But the FOMO tactic falls on deaf ears when it comes to my wallet.
im grinding the german battlecruiser, z52 and the mvr line and i got the VI Weser after 10 DAYS. imagine grinding tier 8 to 9 :/
Thanks!🐓🐤🚗⛵
There are so many ships I would love to get but war gaming keeps it out of reach for no reason
If I can get something for coal, steel, dubloons or cash and I’m interested, I’ll get it. But I won’t buy crates till I get it or auction etc. I did get the Chicuma 2 Golden in crates but it was in my initial 10 crates we got for free. Pure luck.
How about a video on best ships available for trade. I hear the Karl is good, but are there any others?
I kinda wonder if you have a coal ship if the armory and trade it in can you then use coal to get it back?
works you can Trade it in buy your ship for discount and get youur coal ship back with coal
Yes but you have to shut the game down and start it up again or you won’t see it in the armory
I have start to play game again after 4-5 years and i'm surprised how bad rewards are, container rewards are same as 5-6y ago... economic bonuses are so rare even basic, its so stupid give as reward 4 flags for brawl reward...jesus wg.
ROFL, now, I hope, you can see why I will not BUY a ship or promo pack. Don't get started about NERFING after the purchase....
Ya... Jagger, just say'n
i bought the thunderer then the bastards nerfed it after they said that they would not nerf paid for ships
Makes no difference for me since I think all of their price are rip off anyway.
Got it free in community tokens container.
spent thousands on this game and yeah this shit ruined it for me they aint got a dime in a while now
yeah it was really funny, you did a video lamenting being unable to get it. and now we got it free? what the? good though right?
I've been unable to find the latest 3 premium ships in the shop on the EU servers, is this just a regional thing?
I have not found Rodney, Montcalm, or the other DDay ship in the N/A premium shop either.
They were available on the premium website, nor the in game client
Found where they are hidden: Go to the Premium Shop from the website, then instead of “Ships”, click on “FEATURED”. Under featured you scroll 3/4 way down below all the doubloon packs and you will find Rodney and the 2 cruisers.
I only go for these random bundles if the ship is the very first bundle, if not, it's a skip.
I’m getting a little pessimistic in my old age. I figure a fool and his money are soon parted so why not let the fools subsidize a game that I enjoy playing for mostly free (I spend about a hundred bucks a year). People with no self control are gonna spend their money on something so I’m fine siphoning it off them indirectly.
Sea Server is one of the worst I have seen for using their wallet to play. The new Shima DD is wait for it 276 dollars in my money. Every game had at least 2 of them in it. Every game has at least 2 of the Azure lane ships and at tier 9 that that is 130 dollars each. Arp Yammamoto was a mere 100 dollars when it first released. Now understand this is New Zealand prices but WG greed is out of control to the point they throw free camouflages around like we actually want them especially in the Battle Pass. 16 dollars a month doesnt sound like much but I am still paying money and I want value for every penny of my hard earned cash.
The Chinese are rich and they willing to spend their wallet on anything. Thank them for keeping the light on at WG
Why do people still hand their money to Wargaming, I feel sorry for them.
People need to save their money and buy real world survival supplies. Trust me, you are going to need it in a few months.
If I need survival supplies it is better to not survive.
A free to play game where the developer tries to get money, i see nothing wrong here. So much negative video makers that play every day, a pretty scummie move.
Getting money isn't the issue. It's the HOW that's the issue. There's this thing called ethics and WG is making morally bankrupt decisions in regards to that.
Immorality seems non existant to you. Are you a politician?
I agree with you. Don’t listen to the haters. Wg gives a lot of free stuff out. You can get premiums just my playing the game so wg has to make money somehow
I really not agree with the fomo, it's really shit, and in long term I don't think it would be more profitable than to put them in the premium shop, also, it would push the players away, hope it stops
Here's a dime...buy a new act.
Its so funny to see people complain about WGs monetization tactics, and then when a new ship only available in random bundles comes out you see them taking up 6 slots out of the entire match.
People spend so much money on this game already, the part i don’t understand is FOMO actually hurts the income you make from the working man who saves up to buy a new pretty pixel ship. Sure they may not spend as much as the whales, but they are so much more numerous.
I don’t get it WG, like MB said, there are the people will buy your new ships the second they come out, and then other people will wait for the reviews to buy them anyways at a later date. And please for the love of god don’t do a Kitakami bullshit again. Catering to old players my ass, ive been on since 2016 and still had nowhere near enough to get it. Still don’t.
