When i got rid of my sound bar life as never been the same. I'm currently running 147.178.678 in my 98x2 inch room. I think it's about time for another upgrade 🤔
I hate to criticize but, that calibration is kind of pointless when you have flat walls like that. I would rather make the walls absorb waaay more sound using curtains, or sound dampaning panels, then have a super calibrated receiver.
@@SmartHomeBrothers ah, I have a 14x18 room with the entry and a closet in the back. I thought doing the same with an angled baffle speaker, but I have 9 foot ceilings. I also though about placing in wall angled baffle speaker 5ft below the atmos toward the seating, they would be placed about 6 ft away from the side speakers but on the same wall.
7.2.4 Home Theater Calibration with Anthem Room Correction (ARC).
Very nice. I personally have a 15.3.8 channel theatre but 7.2 is amazing aswell

98 by 2 inch room lol
I setup a room like this. Sound was perfect for me. Friends filled the seats and it changed the sound.
Yes we call it rt60 and frequency response tests, and yes it changes nearly everything
The before and after is always impressive
The "dream man cave ". He's got it!
😎😎😎
What amazing job you have.....
Would it also worth with 5.1.4 atmos soundbar with rear sueronds
What do you think of the Spatial Audio feature of Airpods Pro 2?
Try a centre rear channel to make it 8.2.4. The extra rear channel really fills the back
Tried this with my home theater and the neighboors came over. Its loud af
I wish I could hear stereo I’m sure it sounds cool. Born w one ear. Everything in my home is set to mono.
I need my theater calibrated
Yes need more loud soundbar
Amazing , can you teach me how to do this ?
Automatically adjust by these noises
Yeah software from Anthem adjust all the speaker levels, so we don’t do much.
Is this software sold separately and can it be used with other processors , Avrs ?
And me cant run 5.1 sony soundbar on my x96q device. i may need adb debugger
You can use 69 speakers if you want with dolby atmos
All that and no acoustic panels. You need to DIY you some Rockwool panels brah
I’m running a 7.1 sound system at home so I understand what the 7.2 in your setup is but what is the .4?
Ceiling /ground level speakera
do tel the meaning of calibration !!!
It helps make the speakers sound as good as they possibly can in the space :)
@@SmartHomeBrothers pace means ..without getting blowed up !!!
I live next door to a cinema complex .
I just own a regular television from 1994.
Does the neutrality of the microphone matter for this? Or could that be accounted for with EQ?
A new mic is shipped with each Anthem AV receiver. It gets moved around to several locations and the test resumes
I would have thought one would have had to step out of the room, maybe that's just a dirac thing
With Anthem your can have people in the seats. In fact, Greg prefers it. However, he had to redo this take because we were walking around to film 😂
Meanwhile me at home 1.0.0
Big money

Nice are the back in ceiling speakers working as rears or atmos?
Rears

Yurp....the next level home theater....
Thanks 🍿🔉😎
So i guess they sell instal and configure. Main issue here i see that's the owner is very likely in age hes/her hearing need calibration too
to calibrate the sound, no one must be near the calibration microphone.
YESSIR 👏👏
Is all the speakers in the ceiling that is the worst
Always a serious face 😂
Personally I would not stand in the room when doing that
Technically shouldn’t you sit quietly underneath the calibration mic just in case you reflect/absorb a little sound?
That room needs treatment
Human have only 2.0 set of ears ..but want multiple speakers 😂😂😂
actually, did you know humans only hhave one set of ears?
You should get your head out of the way when you calibrate
😶
NO thank you, Sonos for me, I ain't got time for this...

Awkward 😕
All surround sound is trash
Dolby Atmos sounds like shit. All dsp no balls. 2.1 will always win.
