WherzMah Sammich To me, it is. I'm just to mission 5 but the Campaign seems pretty grim now. And the game itself....I like the mix between "light" and "grim" it has.
for me the game was decent, story was good, the gameplay was really different than its predecessor i like the first one. Like soulstrom dlc the gameplay and races was really top notch.
FOREVER FAITHFULL, EVEN IN DEATH I STILL SERVE. I WILL ILLUMINATE ALL HERETICS AND THE SPAWNS OF CHAOS. MAY MY BOLTER DELIVER YOU PAIN BEYOND THE PAIN OF CHAOS WARP
Totally agree, the first trailer was amazing, also the soundtrack so far, while everything else barely resembles the utter grim darkness of Warhammer 40k.
@@spartan8090 I've played all the 3, the third one is the worst, but never has been a terrible game on his own, the 2 others were just better. That's why the community felt it as a let down.
@@searllas1825 Honestly if it was a return to first games formula with lessons learned by the RTS industry over the years it might’ve had a chance but they tried to combine the two games styles together and made the only multiplayer mode a MOBA for all intents and purposes. This wasn’t just a letdown it was an abject failure that boggles the mind. I got this game for two dollars and I still felt ripped off before returning it.
its supposed to be repetitive, after all its not meant to be a song, rather something in the background playing so its not dead silent while in the menu's.
No, main menu music is supposed to never get repetitive, either by having a simple tune or by being really long. If you want examples of good main menu music look at hearthstone OST or any WoW main menu music. This is a very monotonous composition.
Well, Modern Warfares 1, 2, 3 have great music in menus and they have chosen the same approach as this one. On that matter, any CoD game has ambient music in menus. Undenyable it is a good thing. Not even close to dull
Only the dead have seen the end of war.
Primarch Roboute Guilliman ...olny to begin their suffering
-40k
Roboute Guiliman?! Is that you?!
"In Dedicato Imperatum Ultra Articulo Mortis".
Dreadnought: Am I a joke to you?
But everyone has seen the end of Dawn of War.
I wish the game was as grimdark as this music

is not grim or dark thats make warhammer good, careful or we will we see bad lore on it, just to make dark just for the sake of it, bad writing...
Love this. I like how they essentially implemented the idea of Dark Crusade's theme (calm and atmospheric).
Paul Leonard Morgan's work is really good and I'm glad they hired him, especially after his work on the Dredd soundtrack.
1:25 - 1:40
In my opinion, the most eerie part of the entire theme.
Amazing menu music. I can listen to it all day. I should play it whenever i play 40k.
The music in dow 3 is awesome, i wish the rest of the game was too.
Shame the game itself is an insult to the franchise and setting, the soundtrack is phenomenal.
Raving Techpriest Right? I got the game in a humble bundle and was impressed by this track but the game itself is ass. Not as bad as I thought though.
The end of a franchise :(
One day we will have DoW remastered brother

First one was the best one. It's sad how games become less good, althrough they have better graphics and more money to be invested in it. Sad af.
I have waited long for this day.

Very good, just like the trailer.
Too bad the trailers and music and everything else seems so fitting for a Dawn of War game while the game itself fails to capture the same feeling.
Totally agree, the first trailer was amazing, also the soundtrack so far, while everything else barely resembles the utter grim darkness of Warhammer 40k.
No-one ever complained that the first two DOW's weren't 'grimdark' enough, and this game is as much as the last two.
The trailers might be, but not the game itself.
Hell even DoW II was more Grim Dark.
The story of DoW 3 was pretty dark, considering the implications, no spoilers for those that havent done it yet but damn it was good.
CptVanguard1 totally agree.
thats the sound of the apocalypse, thats the sound of WAAAAAAAGH!
@SANITY IS FOR THE WEAK Why so aggressive? What's wrong with you?
Sounds good
I like it, it's quite and not in you face about it.
Музыка в 3 части конечно охуенная
That horn is perfection.
Im gonna be honest with you all, i LOVE this game
I'm guessing you haven't played any of the other Dawn of War games then.

DoW III made Soulstorm a masterpiece
i love it
Im just waiting for nurgle to show up and bring his plagues to all loyalists
Exquisite!
THERE IS NO END.
Do you know the name of the song ?
I was gonna ask that question as well.
unfortunately the game doesnt live up to this theme
Gets way too repetative as main menu music, really bad choice.

Modern Warfare 2 had possibly the most obnoxious menu music I've ever heard.
Oltheonz Quite the opposite to me! I can listen this ost for hours
