You are never alone. The other day, I was saying a good thing at the song wake by hillsong, and I put a very nice comment there, but someone said : Ma'am are you on drugs? This is what I said. I AM ON FIRE FOR THE WORLD AND GOD. SO IF YOU THOUGHT SATAN WAS GONNA COME AND SCREW MY LIFE UP, YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN. Don't let anyone put you down. You are a child of God. I'm only in the 6 grade, and I'm saying this when others who have been Christians for years who won't even say a word about Him. This proves anyone can stand for their God. Join the fight.

Epicwolf103 Harley Quinn I am just now after 10 years standing up to my husband and it's been really hard I've taken a lot of mental abuse from him and I'm seeing the light I pray that God will set him free and make him realize what he's doing to this family I hold on because I love my family and because I don't quit it's really hard to see other people happy but there Jesus see I'm happy and when I'm with my little girl it takes everything away I don't know what to expect out of him when he comes home he's very mentally abusive he wants me to his level he wants to control me when I know that I'm better than that and it's very hard for me because I do love him I hope that one day if he doesn't change God will bring me a good guy for my daughter and I but if not that's okay because at least I know that I loved him and that's all that matters so look at it this way not only strangers hurt you so the people that you love they always say that you hurt the people you love the most I don't think so you're supposed to love the people you love the most you're supposed to give love and receive it husband says I just want to be loved I do nothing but love him and I told him in order to be loved he has to give love it's been a very rocky road for the past four years in our relationship he has turned against me because I love Christ and it's very hard My Eyes Are Open I just pray that he becomes the man I want him to be if not then I will still love him always because that's what Jesus said so don't be sad because there are people that love you and people that will hurt you that love you it doesn't matter all that matters is that Jesus loves you I'm so proud of you thank you for your words that inspire me thank you so much A lot of people are just envious and jealous you don't have to have a million dollars to be worth to have self-worth you don't have to have this many friends with that many friends to be love because God loves you no matter what keep the faith sister. I also pray that my little girl has the life that I never had I trust God I do. 😘
Yes, however, as christians we must go about it lovingly wether we like it or not. The bible says to love. First Corinthians two says, "If I've the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries, and have faith to move mountains, but do not love I am nothing." We must love everyone as we love ourselves.

I heard this song last year on my album and my dad asked me “Do you know that’s true? Do you know you matter?” And the truth is, I struggle with insecurity and inadequacy. So I listen to this song to remember I do matter and what’s more, I wish I did listen to this song when I was having a hard time in the year 2016.

This song saved my life! I cannot think of any song that has touched me as much as this one. I heard this song when I was feeling so low and questioning my self worth and the importance of my life. I wondered if my life mattered at all. Then I came across this song kinda randomly but not by chance. I know God led me to hear this song. And it was like God was speaking directly to me and Joel and Luke were too like they knew me and they wrote and sung this song just for me. And even to this day I still come back to this song to remind myself that I do indeed truly matter. 🥲

Great song! But I need your help with full understanding because English is not my native language. Does "took the tree" mean "carried the Cross"? What does a "close as prayer" mean and to which it refers. What is the synonym for close in the sentence? Near, direct, personal or sth else?
Hi Dawid! Yes, "took the tree" is referring to how Jesus carried the cross. Close as a prayer I believe is referring to how others are praying for us. Or it could possibly mean it's as close as praying that can help us. Not exactly sure what the artist was referring to exactly. I hope this was of some help! :)
