@@JohnJames. Thanks for the reply... I did make a variation some time ago and had some nice carp in the Autumn/Fall here in Spain, exactly as you say - mainly put in front of them... but a few (minority) whilst stripping in. It was the best fishing of the year. Put in front of them in the margins while they were head-down/tail-up was the most successful method. Curiously, more successful in smaller size of 14, which is a bit different to the usual recommendations, but maybe that's just here. Happy fishing!
Nice fly!
This is a great fly for bass
Awesome video boss! Thanks for the help!!!
Awesome video 👍
I'm tying a bunch of them
Love it, thanks for sharing.
Great looking fly... How do you fish it? How would you fish it in a river?
typically I fish it off the bottom, and drop it in front of carp, catfish, relish, drum etc. anything that is looking down to feed.
@@FishChaseFlies do you retrieve it? tweak it? Swing it? let it sit? Or a bit of everything?
@@consuelo1441 I usually have to get it right in front, but I've had takes stripping in

Does it suspend since you are using the foam strip or does it ride in the surface film?
it sinks to the bottom but rides hook point up every time because of the foam
Nice fly! Have anything that imitates a clam?
Marcello Borselli ties clam flies and fishes them very successfully
