- With a 183 million records sold, The Beatles are one of the most popular music groups of all time and certainly changed the world. Paul McCartney played a huge part in their success as the bass guitarist and singer-songwriter. But he wasn't only a talented musician, he also possessed a great love for cars. From sports cars to sedans, he's owned some vehicles that would go on to be timeless classics. With Paul McCartney sharing lead vocal duties with the iconic John Lennon, the Beatles' popularity grew, and so did McCartney's collection. He certainly had enough cars to drive 8 days a week. He also owned a Ocean Blue Porsche Boxster that he kept to drive when he was living in SoCal...........
I wouldn't consider him so much a collector as just a guy that knows how to enjoy what the world has given him.

Rory Gallagher was also a car collector. A friend of mine was at an after gig function where Rory was surrounded by people all talking about his music and such, later on when he got the chance he asked Rory about his favourite cars and that was it, no-one else got a word in and my friend was left chatting with him long into the night ..Chrysler Saratoga

Paul's (original Paul that is not Faul lol) Aston DB5 seems to have been forgotten about as a car he once owned. The DB6 always gets mentioned but the DB5 hardly does as if noone knew he owned one. I thought it strange that there are no photos of him with the DB5. Surely he was photographed driving it but I haven't seen any such photos of him in it or posing for press photos beside it.
The DB6 is Hey Jude song one.
An incredible collection indeed! But personally I'd go for the caravan style Royce rather than the more traditional one. Yes, I'm a hippie.

I visited the Beatles Apple offices once in 1970 and I arrived just as Paul was parking up in an expensive and rather flashy looking BMW. At the time, my friend was Lennon’s Apple office assistant. He also used to do the shopping for George Martin’s wife in a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce and looked after their guitars, kept under lock and key in the basement. But no mention of that BMW here. As Mac alighted, he seemed to be very much enjoying it - and no, he didn’t seem worried about meter maids either, because he just ran in.

@@angelwings7930 Amazing that Paul died in 1966 and that they found someone who looks exactly like him, sounds exactly like him, plays the bass left-handed equally as well, and writes songs equally just as good. What are the chances of that? John died in 1980, yet somehow they were never able to replace him. Makes you think, eh?

I’d recommend Mark Devlin, Mike Williams and put FAUL in the search on their names. Don’t miss the book memoirs of billy shields. All the FAUL UA-cam videos etc. but you don’t seem to want to know. I used to think it was just an annoying rumor too.

It was unfortunate that night of 9 November 1966 (me dad's birthday) the original Paul picked up a girl and the both of them perished on that terrible crash on the road.

Exotic car collection - He’s hardly Jay Leno! That’s 60 years worth of cars and how many does he still own? Regarding his Lexus, it’s hardly the most planet saving hybrid irrespective of the high carbon delivery method and you’d hope he’s at least got a Tesla in his garage by now - Love and peace man!
