Frank Sinatra's Swingin' Car Collection

- Few artists have left as great an impression on 20th-century popular music as Frank Sinatra. From his humble beginnings in Hoboken, New Jersey, to the bright lights of Manhattan and the Las Vegas Strip, Sinatra became a dominant musical force thanks to his distinctive voice and big band-style jazz-inflected songs that could be loosely categorized as swing. While his music continues to be enjoyed by millions, it is his way of living that continues to amaze us. And is still a standard by which we judge class. For years, he was the world's wealthiest performer, living in a way that people admired rather than derided. Sinatra's heart was attached to his cars, just as it was to his style and attention to detail. He adored them, and they were typically fashionable and period-appropriate. Today we're taking a look at the swinging rides of the legendary crooner, Frank Sinatra.

Wondeful Jaguar XJ-S. So smooth and quiet. Fabulous design with incredibly reliable V12. Frank certainly knew his cars.
The 1958 Cadillac is my favorite, but the rest of the collection is still outstanding. Thanks for sharing this video.
The 1958 Cadillac Brougham, in burgundy with stainless Steel Top, rear suicide doors is my desire. I saw one in 1957, setting in the showroom at Reedmans dealership in Langhorne, Pa. My mouth fell open, it was drop dead gorgeous and the grandest looking car I had ever seen in my life. It was black with stainless steel roof with a white leather interior. In my minds memory eye I can still see it. GM only made them in 1957 and 58. As I recall the early built 1957 had single headlamps but the later built 1957 and 1958 had duel headlamps.
The red Packard Phaeton brings one of the worst times of my life to memory. I was working on a ranch while on summer vacation from high school in 1947 and was directed to remove the aluminum body and dump it in a slough, the chassis was converted into a buck rake.
As far as I know. he also owned one of the first Jaguar E-Type Roadsters and a Stutz Blackhawk. And the Maserati Ghibli is not a 2+2, but a real 2-Seater!
I raced Bing Crosby in his two tone cream colored Rolls Royce in Burlingame,ca 1975 he won ! Me 1969 MGB-GT ….. I tried 😊
Thinking back iam looking ….. that’s Bing Crosby …. We were both at the light …. I was reving up the motor …. I tried ……😢. I floored the MG ( red ) he didn’t look over once😊
Hey, I owned one of them too..............................................the 1969 MGB that is. Mine was the Roadster in British Racing Green, black top.🤣🤣
Amazing video; amazing cars.
R.I.P. to Frank Sinatra
Frankie baby 😊
You wanted the hot rod dual 4 barrel carb set up T Bird !
" E - Bird " !
Good very good ❤😂.
" cranky frankie !" Laugh 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 " i think me laugh again Laugh 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣
The Dual Gina’s were made between 1956 and 1958
I remember the Ghia L64, indeed I had one in ‘60s, but it was only the toy car version made by Corgi.
All Dual Ghia's had Chrysler engines and their Toquerflyte😂 transmission.
Toys. Just expensive toys. When you have the do. Nothing it’s a big deal anymore
ÁLOM,,, AMIKOR A KOCSIK TÖKÉLETESEK, IGÉNYESEK VOLTAK
He didn't keep but a couple of the cars at a time I believe.
What's wrong with that T-Bird? The wheels/tires don't fit the body. And the body looks lifted? WTF? Is that a replica?
Those are 100% the wrong wheels and tire size and it’s missing the fender skirts. It was a horrible example of the 55 Thunderbird bc it’s not authentic
The Black 55 T bird Frank Sinatra is sitting in has the original hub caps.
Your born into class and you can't buy into class
Didnt know Mr Sinatra was s car guy?? Thank you, but what a terrible T- Bird representation here.
HaHa!😂 it's pronounced. brome 😂🤣🤣! Not bro-ham😂😂😂😂! And they think their nailing it is most funny of all 😂! A lot of baby boomers are still alive! '45 to '64.
