Oh my lord, cosmetology school completely over-explained and over-complicated how to do haircuts in general and I felt like I didn’t learn very much in school at all because I always got lost in the long explanations, so now I’m supplementing what little I learned by watching video tutorials and I stumbled on this channel- I’m subscribing. The instructions in this tutorial were tactful and easy to follow and didn’t have 5000 extra unnecessary and confusing details. Thank you so much for your videos, they are helping immensely.
I also learned from this video why I was having so much trouble making my daughters hair even the last time I cut it, because I was trying to use straight lines for my guide instead of point cutting.
These videos are really going to help with my apprenticeship.

Girl you make it look so easy, knowing me I'd try it and my child would end up looking like Jim Carrey in dumb & dumber 🤭 smh

Thanks for a great video, easy to understand and follow. I liked that you went through the process pretty quickly and explained each step. And it looks much easier, than just brushing the hair all down the back the way I have done in the past, the way you partition the hair to make sure you are getting a straight cut.

Also, I have a question- when you cut the two front sections, do you do the single section on the side that the part is on, and do the double section on the side that the part isn’t on to compensate for the lack of a part to make the hair even?

Someone please help me to understand why you would cut up in an angle like this instead of just cutting it straight across? Seems this is why you almost always get more than you like cut off when you get it done professionally. Also, why cant this just be done with two sections- will it not be even? Trying to do this myself!😅
