- In this episode we discuss the importance of water testing, a simple process which will lay the groundwork for learning to listen to your tank. We’ll explain what to test (it’s not as much as you think!) and how often, as well as share tips for consistency which will help catch problems early on, or before they even pop up.

This video gets lost in all the test kit reviews. Very helpful!!! Thanks!
The way you explained water testing was the best and easiest to understand thanks, buddy
Man this is the most helpful and informative series I’ve found! Thank you so much.
Also your T shirt collection is legendary bro!!
Great video. Love your clarity and attention to basic details. I am a nube and feel we are totally on the same page when explaining stuff.👌
Awesome info and easily understood...i def forwarded this to a few new hobbyists..thanks Mark!!
Brian Finch awesome Thanks for Sharing the love!
Great info. I've been wanting that salinity tester since it came out. 🤤
It's probably the best product released this year.
Wish I had found this series when I set my tank up a couple months ago. What are you thoughts on Macroalgae to help with nitrate and phosphate buildup
Love the videos. When should I start testing for PH and Alkalinity?
Is there an aquarium log app that you recommend?
This is awesome! Watched these videos all day how long will the Budget Aquarium sale be going on for? Probably wont be able to get one for another 2 months sadly, but totally looking forward to it definitely doing it!
Austin T. Rogers the sale price expires at midnight but we will always have the kit for sale to help Beginners get into the hobby successfully
I don't see the link to the recommended kits please post here.
What part of the Salifert test kits expire? I noticed you sell expired kits at a discount but also reccomend not using them and to throw them away. Can you explain this a little better. Thanks
Sure. The kits just don't stop working at the expire date. They just become less and less accurate as time goes on. Lots of customers are always looking for easy ways to get extra test vials, color comparison cards, scoops, etc.
What is the best salinty to keep your tank at?
1.025 ?
With the start up kit you put up in our beginner tank can we add some basic coral?
YouKnowItsMe oh yea. Coming soon
You can actually have that many fish with that tiny hang on back filters ?
So just with the phosphate and salinity will be fine or would i need something else?
Same question

What about the PH?
You look tired buddy
