Boundaries in relationships are something like, hey maybe don’t flirt with others. If you don’t want your partner to dress a certain way, then seek out a partner that dresses a certain way. But boundaries are NOT telling your partner how to dress when they’re not with you, that’s control, which is abusive behavior. And what’s EVEN FUNNIERRRRR is not only the idea that we dress for y’all, it’s this supposed idea of “attention” when they “attention” were referring to is just sexual harassment. Period. Let’s get that straight because y’all are really missing that part because you’re so focused on the idea of a woman loving herself so much that she wants to dress a certain way. The narcissism and ego it takes to think a whole gender dresses FOR YOU is so infuriating.
It’s pretty simple, don’t like your partner to dress a certain way? Seek out that person. But what we’re not going to do is disguise abusive behavior as a boundary. If you’re so triggered by the “attention” why not make it your life’s mission to make videos telling men to leave us tf alone and that our outfits have nothing to do with anyone…BUT US.
