With the shuttle tipping I was just think, “you are so getting fired.”
I have two problems with that launch facility.
1. why wasn't the shuttle secured to the platform?
2. why would anyone design the crawlerway so that you have a ramp to go over?
just doesn't make much sense to me
I suppose the answer would be just to make it a challenging game aspect. If it were flat and just driving, people may say it's too easy. Not sure exactly!
In reality it would be bolted down by explosive bolts on the srbs but it wouldnt be challenging in the game

That's all nice and well but I'd really love to see a Space Shuttle and Saturn V + Lunar Module simulator done to a level of depth and detail that we're now seeing with some Flight Simulator addons...

So if I am to get this straight. The shuttle uses its 3 ssme’s to thirst off its centerline 4 seconds before launch with its main engines at full thirst because its bolted down but if you accelerate to fast with it in the crawler it’s toast.
