I love Nabeel Qureshi's explanation too. God is one in being and three in person. I love that three in person. (Deuteronomy 19;15)...on the testimony of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.

The idea of the Trinity was established by a government appointed council. It’s about time Christians start looking into the idea that you don’t have to subscribe to the Trinity to be a Christian.

Jesus taught Oneness but the council of Nicea knew they couldn't set up a heirarchy to keep us imprisoned in a mental doctrinal prison if we realized that so they invented doctrines built on guilt, shame, and fear.

Nabeel was totally wrong. Because he is wrongly describing “trinity” with the help of “modalism”. But modalism is a heresy in christianity because it opposes the doctrine of the trinity. So what he said is totally nonsensical and ridiculous.
Modalism is the unitarian teaching that God is one being (i.e. one center of consciousness) but that He Himself is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with three different roles, though never simultaneously. On this view, God wears different hats at different times, so to speak, and changes hats whenever He wants to transform from the Father to the Son to the Holy Spirit. This was an early church heresy championed by figures like Noetus (2nd century), Praxeas (late 2nd/early 3rd century), and Sabellius (early 3rd century), all of whom opposed the doctrine of the trinity.
Modalism is excluded from christianity by virtue of contradicting scripture, and disagreeing with the basic creeds which explain the core of the christian faith (particularly the Nicene Creed and Definition of Chalcedon). Modalism claims that there is only one God, who manifests Himself in multiple roles - meaning that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are merely one being playing dress-up.
Modalism is the idea that God reveals Himself in different roles, or forms, or “modes” (hence calling it “modalism”). Basically, God “was” the Father, then He “was” the Son during the first century, and then He “became” the Holy Spirit, which is who He is currently. This directly contradicts the concept of the Trinity.
Because it is totally incompatible with the Bible. Who was Jesus praying to when he prayed to the Father? Himself? Who was he referring to when he referred to the Father? Himself? Who was he referring to when he referred to the Paraclete? Himself?
A good example of this is the baptism of Jesus. Here we have Jesus (Son) being baptized, when the Spirit of God descended upon Him in the form of a dove (Holy Spirit), and a voice from heaven says “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Father). Here you have all three distinct and separate persons in one situation. Here you have also all three distinction and separate beings in one situation. They are not the same. The Father is not the son or holy spirit. The son is not the Father or holy spirit. The holy spirit is not the Father or the son. So they are not one being who are playing three different roles at the same time simultaneously. They are three separate being and they are three separate person also.

God is far above being a man, or having a son. God Creates, has no wants nor needs, is far above any finite concept we have of Him. Jesus (as) had wants and needs, slept, ate, therefore cannot be a god.
God is One. Turn to God alone who Created Jesus just as he Created Adam, saying "Be" and they were.
    Islam makes this so simple.

      And your point?
God is God of everything, including being the God of Flesh. This DOES NOT imply that He inhabited flesh to feel what man goes thru. That is far beneath His Glory.
God DOES NOT "need" to partake in His Creation. That does not mean He takes no active role in its monitoring and control. And since He does not "need" to partake, He definitely DOES NOT need to walk in man's shoes to feel his pain. God Created pain and suffering so that mankind turns to Him for Help. Why would He need to feel it?
We are the ones who rely on His Creation and ultimately Him.
We need to worship Him, yet He does not 'need' our worship.

      The Nicene Creed says,
“God from God, Light from Light,
      true God from true God,
      begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father.”
      “begotten, not made”.
Literally, “begotten” and “made” are the same.
      Doesn’t “begotten” imply “made”?
So literally this verse is contradictory. “begotten, not made”.
So there must be a profound meaning to this verse, that is:
At a certain point many lifetimes ago, the Christ was begotten of the Father.
Through practice in many lifetimes, He has eradicated all sins and sinful nature, and fully restored divinity and spirituality.
The full divinity and spirituality of the Christ were not made, so He was not made.
The reason why it can be explained in this way is because there are many lifetimes.
Without many lifetimes, there’s no way to explain “begotten, not made”.
Many lifetimes after being begotten, eventually the Christ was not made.
Without “many lifetimes”, “begotten” and “made” would be the same.
So this explanation is at least understandable in theory.

So what you’re saying is the Trinity teaches that God asked himself to go to earth to save mankind. Then he agreed with himself and volunteered himself to himself to offer himself. The God impregnated a women as himself, with himself. God prayed to himself and glorified himself repeatedly. God strengthened himself and talked to himself. Finally God forsook himself, and sacrificed himself, to prove his loyalty to himself. While dead he resurrected himself, so he could exalt himself above himself! Then he sat at his own right hand, and waited tell he placed his enemies as his footstool. Finally with satans forces defeated, God would turn his kingdom over to himself, that all things would be everything to himself!!!! I get

@Mansoor Ahmad , why are you a muslim?
What are your reasons for that?
I have some questions about islam and I would like to see correct answers for them.
      I let the questions below.
What I call "quadruple islamic dilemma" are four situations put in binary logic that leads me to the conclusion that Quran is false.
      The first situation:
      0) If the Torah and the Gospel are false, that results that the Quran is false, because in the Quran we have verses like the ones below that confirms the Torah and the Gospel.
God cannot confirm something that is false, right? :)
      (Quran 3:3-4)
      3. He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
      4. previously, as a guide for people, and ˹also˺ revealed the Standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺. Surely those who reject Allah’s revelations will suffer a severe torment. For Allah is Almighty, capable of punishment.
=> "The Book in truth" has the scope to confirm the Torah and the Gospel
      => What does "confirm" mean?
To confirm something means to establish its truth, accuracy, validity, or genuineness. It can also mean to approve or ratify something officially by formal agreement.
      (Quran 5:46-47)
      46. Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah-a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.
      47. So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious.
=> It is so obvious that the Torah and the Gospel are from God which means they are true.
      (Quran 5:65-66)
      65. Had the People of the Book only been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have certainly absolved them of their sins and admitted them into the Gardens of Bliss.
      66. And had they observed the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have been overwhelmed with provisions from above and below. Some among them are upright, yet many do nothing but evil.
=> In verse 65 it shows that God have a problem with sinners. He "would have certainly absolved them of their sins and admitted them into the Gardens of Bliss" if they "only been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺"
=> In verse 66 it shows that if the sinners "had they observed the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have been overwhelmed with provisions from above and below".
=> Again, this verses confirms the Torah and the Gospel.
      1) If the Torah and the Gospel are true, the Quran is false, because it contradicts the doctrine of salvation [(through faith that will lead to good works with no doubt - christianity and judaism) (good works - islam)] or the fact that Jesus is the Son of God etc.
Conclusion: The islam is false anyway.

"God is one in being and three in person" is a contradiction because you can't apply that definition to all of the persons in said trinity.
Since they are all "100% God", and God is "3 whos and 1 what", then for example Jesus would have to be 3 persons as well in order to be God. Since Jesus is only 1 person and 1 what, he would only be a part of God at the best.
The contradiction lies in that "the trinity" creates another God, and The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit together make up the trinity, but if you look at each of these persons one by one, individually they don't make up the trinity. Take one person out of the equation and God (the trinity) is no longer complete, which would make him not self-sufficient, since he depends on another who.

@@RufusBlad This individual's interpretation overlooks the nuanced understanding of the Trinity within Christian theology. The doctrine of the Trinity asserts that while there is one God, this God exists in three distinct persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-each fully possessing the divine essence. Thus, Jesus being one person does not diminish his divinity; rather, he is fully God in his own right. The Trinity is not about creating additional gods but rather recognizing the multifaceted nature of the one true God. Each person of the Trinity is essential to the divine unity, and the removal of any one person would disrupt this intrinsic relationship. The doctrine underscores the self-sufficiency and completeness of God within the three persons of the Trinity, affirming both the unity and diversity of the divine nature.

      @Mansoor Ahmad Hello Mansoor.
Jesus claimed to be God, received worship reserved for God, and was called God by others while affirming they were right MULTIPLE TIMES
John 20:27-29 - Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” Thomas answered and said to Him, “MY LORD AND MY GOD!” Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
Mark 2:27-28 - Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man IS LORD even of the Sabbath.” (We know Yahweh (Old Testament title for God) is the Lord of the Sabbath; Jesus calls Himself Yahweh)
John 1:1-2; 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD. He was in the beginning with God... 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 5:18 - For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself EQUAL WITH GOD.
John 10:30 - “I and the Father ARE ONE.” (Jesus said that He and God are one... Please don't ignore this)
John 14:8-9 - Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? HE WHO HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Isaiah 9:6 - For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. (You see, even the Old Testament prophesied that the Messiah was God).
      Who is the ‘I AM’?
It is God’s revealed name in the Old Testament book of Exodus:
Exodus 3:14 - God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
      1) He identifies himself with the name of God.
      2) He doesn’t say I was, but I am. So he was pre-existent before Abraham and has not changed his Godly essence since then.
Who is the ‘First and the Last’?
Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: “I am the FIRST AND I AM THE LAST; BESIDES ME THERE IS NO GOD.”
Revelation 1:17-18 When I saw him (Jesus), I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.
      Who is allowed worship?
Deuteronomy 6:13 - You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall WORSHIP HIM AND SWEAR BY HIS NAME.
Matthew 28:9 - And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and WORSHIPED Him.
Matthew 14:33 - And those who were in the boat WORSHIPED HIM, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
Luke 24:50-52 - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they, after WORSHIPING Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy
Who did John the Baptist prepare the way for?
Matthew 3:1-3 - Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said,
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of THE LORD, Make His paths straight!’”
      - John had prepared the way for Jesus, THE LORD (which is the title applied to God in the Old Testament)

      Nabeel was totally wrong.
The doctrine of Trinity is a false concept. Did Jesus ever preached or taught anyone Trinity? The answer is no. Did any prophet before Jesus preached Trinity. The answer is no. It was a pagan concept of roman empire which was forcefully introduced in the church during that time. So any man made concept of God should not be accepted.
Trinity concept is an illogical concept and does not make any sense. Just think for a minute, if Jesus and father are co-eternal and co-equal, then who decides the role that who will be the Father and who will be the son. Because they are equal at the same time. So why not they are brothers. Can the Father become the son or the son become the Father. The answer is no. The Father is not dependent on the son for his existence. But the son always dependent on the Father for his existence. We know that any dependent being can not be God. Because by definition God is independent. So they are not co-equal.
Now think of two co-eternal being or person exists independently. Because the Father is not the son and the son is not the Father according to the creed. They are totally separate entity. They can not be merged. So you can not say that they are one. Now we can say they are two separate Gods. So now it makes you a polytheist who believes in more than one God.
Another illogical matter is that according to the Trinity concept, Trinity itself is fully one God or 100% God. Because you can not say that God the Father is fully one God or 100% God, or God the son is fully one God or 100% God, or God the holy spirit is fully one God or 100% God. Because they are not three God. They are one God according to the creed. So among the Father, son and holy spirit, no one can be called one fully God or 100% God. They are now parts of one fully God. Therefore, we can say that Trinity is the one fully God or 100% God.
So this ancient roman and greek man made illogical and nonsensical pagan concept of Trinity is totally a false concept of God. Being a rational and logical person, you should not believe it.
Nowhere in the whole Bible Jesus taught you the Trinity concept of God. If this concept was true, then Jesus and other prophets before him would have told you about that.
In the old testament Deuteronomy 6:4 teaches you the concept of God.
      Deuteronomy 6:4:
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
In Mark 12:29 Jesus himself teaches you the concept of God.
      Mark 12:29:
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."

Because the Father can not be the son or holy spirit, the son can not be the Father or holy spirit, the holy spirit can not be the Father or the son. They are distinct and separate.
Now, If you say trinity is one being as God, then all three are part of that one being or one God. Then they can not be a fully 100% God individually. Because all three together make one being or one God.

As living souls, we are body from the dust of the ground activated by the spirit/breath of God. -- Genesis 2:7.
The Bible never presents man as being three separate and distinct persons or aspects as body, soul and spirit. I have a study online related to this:
      bible-hope.blogspot.com/2018/01/2thes5-23.html
There is definitely nothing in Genesis 1:26 that says that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a trinity. Such a thought has to be created beyond what is revealed, assumptions have to be formulated beyond what is written in order to support the trinity concept, and the assumptions have to be added to, and read into, what is written.
He who is ELOHIM in Genesis 1:26 does not refer to himself alone as "US" and "OUR", but he is definitely speaking to someone else who is not Himself, speaking of Himself and the other person(s) as "US" and "OUR." More than likely, God was speaking to His firstborn creature (Colossians 1:15), He who bears the name "The LOGOS of God" (Revelation 19:13), who was with the only true God in the beginning. -- John 1:1,2; 17:1,3,5.
ELOHIM in Genesis 1 refers to only one person, as can be seen by its usage in Genesis 1:2. Other scriptures show that this one person is Jehovah, the God of the Messiah. -- Isaiah 61:1,2; Micah 5:4.

God is one: Jesus is God born in the flesh. God himself came down as our sacrifice and laid down his life for us. THATS what makes it so profound. Jesus himself said “greater love hath no man than to lay his life down for his friends.”
God is OMNIPRESENT. He can be all around at one time. God is one. Jesus said that if you have seen him, you have seen the father. Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. Satan tempted Jesus and told him to turn the bread into stone.
It’s because satan knew that Jesus was the messiah, and he thought he could tempt the flesh to sin.
Jesus is the same God of the Old Testament. He is YAHWEH. He is “I AM” who sent Moses. He is JEHOVAH. because he told the Pharisees “before Abraham was, I AM”.
Son of man: born of man
Son of God: born of God.
    Son of man is human.
    Son of God is God.
If he’s was just a man, how come he is called son of God. How can God be lesser, if Jesus says in revelation that he is the alpha and the omega? The Word of God? The beginning and the end! The great I am! He is called the almighty GOD.
He is the KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS.
HE IS THE GREAT I AM. HE IS ONE.

But is it stated that there's only one God?
If we base it on your example, there are three Gods. Just like there are three persons and the three of them are humans so there are three humans. Logically, if we say that there are three personas the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and they are all God being, so there are three Gods?
By the way, I'm Catholic and I'm quite confused with the Holy Trinity but if it is true that there is one God in three personas and no one can explain it logically, I believe that the explanation to this is beyond human's analysis. And I guess, no human could ever explain it.

Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior, nor the disciples, ever teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians give credence to a council of men coming together to argue who God is (The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE), and thereby seek to define God? Can mankind define God? No, God reveals Himself to mankind. 1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation according to Christian scholars (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples, but the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name only, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (published circa 316 CE) in his book, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499). Martin Luther is quoted in a sermon saying, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, p. 406, 1988). It is time that the false Trinity Doctrine cease to exist in Christianity! Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary to keep the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). According to James White, around 75% of Christians, who think themselves to be Trinitarians, are actually Modalists. Modalism: One God who at different times represents Himself in three different modes of being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, then why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation when Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that many will actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would be taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior, and it, the Trinity, was not taught in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel. Not to take this statement as true in that He, the Son of God, is lesser than His Father and God is tantamount to calling Him a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism. But doesn’t Elohim prove the Trinity, after all it is plural. No. Elohim means Gods. The Trinity is the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods [Elohim], One God [Eloah, or EL]. The true definition of Elohim is the God of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17).

And nothing in all creation was made apart from Him...
      In Him was life, and The Life was the light of men;
The Light shines in the darkness,
And the darkness shall not overcome it...
And behold, The Word became flesh...
      Immanu El!"
      ~
"For who can understand the knowledge of The Lord contained within creation, or know the depths of His wisdom?! Yet His Glory surrounds us on every side, testifying to His majesty beyond question! Indeed, we are without excuse!
Behold, even the whole of creation shouts,
      “YAHUSHUA is YAHUWAH!”
For it is He by whom all things consist,
It is He who causes to be...

But he was also a devout Christian, and he brought this same intellectual genius to bear in his analysis of Christianity, and he based his beliefs on his own studies of the Bible along with the earliest Christian writers. Based on his studies he rejected the doctrine of the Trinity and proved that it was unbiblical. He also concluded from that there had been an apostasy from the true Church of Christ, and that at some future time there would be a restoration.

Being is the quality so what something is you just contradicted yourself because you are saying the quality is God. One being then everyone on earth is one being the quality is human, but many persons what makes us all distinct.
So your argument is that the three persons are each god or a god that’s their nature in the same way each person on earth is human or a human.
Who is greater the Father or Jesus? The Father has more power. You are contradicting the actual Trinitarian creed created by “orthodox” Christians. The Athanasian Creed says the Father is Almighty, Son, Holy Ghost, etc. That’s another word for omnipotent which is power that cannot be surpassed.

You have to understand how Trinitarian think: what the text says vs what they see
    Genesis 1:1 (UASV+)
The Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
What trinitarians see: In the beginning God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit created the heavens and the earth.
    Genesis 1:2 (UASV+)
The Bible: “The earth was without form and empty; and darkness was over the face of the deep,  and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.”
What trinitarians see: The earth was without form and empty; and darkness was over the face of the deep, and the Holy Spirit was moving over the surface of the waters.
    Genesis 1:26 (UASV+)
The Bible: “And God went on to say, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. . . .”
What trinitarian see: And God went on to say, "Let God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit make man in our image, after our likeness. . . .
It is not their fault, it is spiritual blindness.

There are 3 parts to God, but they all come together to form the being we know as God, even though it is one in being. If you take 3 things and combine it together they were 3 in being, but now they are 1 in being. If you have playdough and mash 3 pieces together is it 3 beings or 1? Well 3 came together, but formed 1.
God isn’t a person. But part of God can come down to earth. Why couldn’t he? Jesus isn’t a man. But he came down in the form as man. Why wouldn’t this be possible? He did it as sacrifice because we are so awful that he took our sin. So we accept that gift and do not have to work our way into God’s presence.
And why would Jesus accept the title as son of God and not correct they and say he is just a Prophet if something Islam is true?

You do not believe whatever Christian knowledge men telling you!
There is no place in the bible where Jesus(Pbuh) says **I am God or where he says worship me**
Mark 13:32 = **But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone**
Here Jesus categorically states "no one" even himself and the Holy Spirit know "the hour" , but only the Father . Since they both lack the Fathers knowledge the Trinitarians claim that the Father , the son and the holy-spirit are equal is false .
"the co-equality of the persons is the central pillar" . without which the foundation of the trinity comes crashing down .
"You say : no, the human nature does not know, but the divine nature knows. But, there is no exception in this verse about Holy Spirit as well; so the Spirit does not know and we understand that this verse is talking about divine nature of Jesus as well."

      2. Also God accredited him. 3. "God did among you through him" = Jesus did not do that, but God did it; because according to himself he is a man and he himself by his own can do nothing.
You may say it is his human nature; but if you say that the human nature was saying these, then you are confessing that human nature of Jesus overrode on his divine nature. and we all know that the divine nature can not be overridden.

@@michaal105 John 5:30 : "**By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me**
The first part "By myself I can do nothing". So he is clearly saying "nothing". But you may say "No, Jesus is talking about his human nature" or something like this. But according to John 10:29 "My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand" it clearly proves that Jesus is talking about both of his nature ( Although, in actual Jesus is only a human. ) . I continue, we humans can do things by ourselves; such as eating, walking, laughing et cetra. But when Jesus, if he was according to you Christians talking with his human nature, then again that doesn't make any sense to him to say "By myself I can do nothing". You mean that he was not able to eat, walk, laugh et cetra.
_ So the massage Jesus wants to send us is "" I am only an obeying servant of the Father""
      Father = Yhwh = Allah
How am I saying this ? - rest of the John 5:30 : ...I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me."
_ So Jesus like other prophets used to judge by hearing the rules, the laws and inspirations of The Father.
The last part of the verse is very Islamic = "for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me" . In Islam we seek to please Allah = Yhwh = Father, not ourselves. So everyone who says this sentence has Islamic beliefs. So Jesus Christ of Nazareth was a Muslim; Not that he was obeyer of the prophet Muhammad, but had the same beliefs as him and the other prophets.

Nabeel Quershi didn’t give an explanation of 3 gods in 1. By giving the analogy of being vs persons in humans he actually gave an argument for 3 distinct gods if you think about it 😄. Just like Nabeel and Obama are distinct from each other.
No matter how you put it, 1 cannot be equal to 3. It’s better for you if you accept true monotheism: 1 = 1 and discard this self-made doctrine of Trinity. Just cuz you inherited it doesn’t mean it’s the truth especially when you fight within yourselves to make sense of it.

I'm honestly trying to understand this concept but this bit is confusing me - 3:09 "but, is he anymore god than God? No, they are both god, God is one." How can they both be god but God is one? How does that work? Yes i'm muslim but i'm trying to understand what Christians believe but everytime i stumble with this concept. I just can't understand that you believe that God is one but 3 in person. You explained what is meant by that but in conclusion you are saying that you believe that 3 things are god: the father, son and holy spirit, but doesn't that make you believe in 3 gods and isn't that polytheism?

the 3 entities in God or the 3 persons in God are they dependent on each other or independent of each other ? if they are dependent on each other that means non of them can be God because God is not dependent on anyone or anything, if they are independent of each other that means we end up with 3 gods that means we have 3 different entities independently working of each other and all of them are fully 100% God so you end up with Polytheism or Atheism you cannot end up with Christianity

If you want god that you can jail in your logic, you can go to Islam and etc. In there, you can get god like you hope. Because god in other religion can be depict like creations. As simple as that.

@@solomonterrance2676 ...when you look in the Old Testament you see scriptures denoting plurality.
*Gen 1:26 let US make man in our image and likeness. God was certainly not speaking to angels, we were not made in images of angels.
      * Genesis 3:22 ... God said look at man he is now like US (after the fall of meaning, thus knowing good and evil)
      * Genesis 3:11 God said come let US go down and confuse their language
      * These scriptures and some more of them were interpreted by the ancient Jews in the Targums as a reference to: God, His Memra (Word) and Shekina (Spirit).
*Infact other people referred to God in the plural as well, in Genesis 19:24 when God came down in the form of man and says Jehovah rained fire from Jehovah out of heaven.
      * The word God in Hebrew is Elohim. Elohim is plural and singular for it is Eloah.
      * Even Jesus makes references of himself being present in the Old Testament, e.g. John 8:58 ...before Abraham was even born, I am.
      * God the Father calls the Son God in Hebrew 1:8 But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
*The arm of the Lord in the Old Testament is depicted as one different from God, Isaiah calls to Him in Isaiah 51:9 and it Isaiah 53 he reveals him to be the coming servant who is going to suffer for our sins. Jude 1:5 recognises Jesus (according to NET version) to be the one who saved Israel out Egypt.
      * The Angel of the Lord who is viewed as God in the Old Testament behaved, acted, spoke, etc as God and called himself “I Am”. He went as far as saying Abraham did not withhold his son (Isaac) from him. That Angel is not a winged creature but in Hebrew (Melach) meaning a messenger. This Angel was even worshipped and we know angels are not worshipped and they (angels) are quick to stop us from worshipping them (Rev 19:10).
*Throughout the Bible you see God expressed along Trinatirian lines. Infact the famous Shema in Deuteronomy 6:4 that talks of God being one, was never construed as a barren one but diversity or plurality within unity.

Maybe you will be surprised if you know the fact that the most religious adherents in the world in this millennium are pagan people, an ancient religion that was fought by the prophets and messengers of Allah SWT. One indication of this is the use of pagan symbols, in the architecture of houses of worship, prayer chants, hymns or songs, rituals, and so on. The symbol of the cross, for example, comes from the symbol of the cross of the sun god who was made a god by ancient tribes from Egypt (Ancien Egypt) and Rome to Latin America (Maya and Aztec tribes), from Japan (Amaterasu) to India (Btara Indra). . Pastor Herbert W. Armstrong, leader of the Worldwide Church of God based in the US who is also the Editor in Chief of the Christian magazine Plain Truth which has a volume of eight million copies per month, honestly stated that the sign of the cross really originated from a pagan symbol. Not only that, the Christmas which is commemorated by the Western Church every December 25 was considered by Armstrong to be a continuation of the ritual of worshiping the birth of a child of the Sun God (Sun of the God). Therefore, Sunday was made a Christian holiday. 'Sun' means 'Sun' and 'Day' means 'Day'. Many pagan rituals of worshiping the Sun God were practiced on Sundays (Sunday). The worship of the sun god can also be seen from the architecture of the holy city of the Vatican, the center of the Western Catholic Church, where a high pillar stands in the center of this holy city. The obelisk is a symbol of the phallus and is central to the worship of the sun god. This obelisk stands in many cities around the world such as Washington DC, Paris, and also Jakarta! (Monas). Then the concept of the Trinity itself which Christians regard as a sacred concept also comes from the ancient pagan concept represented by Semiramis and his sons (Pagan Babylonia), Devka and Khrisna (Pagan India), Isis and Horus (Pagan Egypt), and so on. The word "Amien" which is commonly recited after prayer actually comes from the name of an ancient Egyptian sun god: Amin-Ra (or the Westerners call it Amun-Ra).

*There is no such thing as the Trinity in the Bible* The Bible says God is ONE. Deut 6:4 One what?
Here is the answer John 4:24 God is A Spirit (singular) So called christians are confused or plain
ignorant what the Bible teaches. Jesus NEVER said He was God, He says He is the Son of God over
and over again and even God saying the same thing in (Matt 3:17).
Christ is the *representitive* of God, His only begotten Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of *his*
glory, and the *EXPRESS IMAGE of HIS PERSON* The verse says person and not persons! That's why
Christ could say the things He said and do the things He has did. God worked through the Lord Jesus
Christ (Acts 2:22) ect. and Christ did everything God commanded Him (John 14:31)
*Eph 4:5-6* There is *one body* and *one Spirit* even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; *One
Lord* one faith, one baptism, *One God and Father* of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
We have one God who is A Spirit (John 4:24) who does ALL these things and not some pagan three in
      one transformer nonsense.
The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of God *Rom **8:14* For as many as are led by *the Spirit of God* they are the
sons of God (or do we have multiple spirits?) Jesus Christ IS the promised Messiah from the OT, God's Son
born of a virgin, the only begotten (1 John 4:9) the perfect man and that is why He IS the image of God
*Eph 4:4* In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of
the glorious gospel of Christ, who *IS the image of God* should shine unto them. (do people know what an image is?)

Did God the Father not send Jesus to reperesent Him? Did Jesus not say He came to do not His own will but the will of the Father? Did Jesus not remind us many times that His words were not His own but the Father who send Him?

The (trinity) is not only a vain, perverse, idle, corrupt, filthy word of confusion not found in the holy scriptures, it is a doctrine of devils and damnable heresy.
These 3 names are the names of the Holy One: Jesus the Almighty everlasting Father:
    1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
    Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
    Acts 19:5
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
    Isaiah 45:
[21] Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
[22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
[23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
    Philippians 2:10
    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
    Ephesians 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
    John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
    Job 13:
[8] Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
[9] Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
[10] He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
    John 14:
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
    John 4:22
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
    Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
    1 John 2:23
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
    John 8:
[24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
[25] Then said they unto him,
    Who art thou?
And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. [26] I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
[27] They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
    John 20:
[28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
    Revelation 1:
[7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
[8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
