I'm sorry, but this is incorrect based on Genesis chapter 1 verses 26-28. What part of "IMAGE BEARER" are you not understanding? If you look in the mirror? Your image tells who you are, even though it is NOT you, the genuine article. Another example: if I have NEVER seen you face to face, but someone sends me a picture, which is an image of you, I can know your form, shape, and many other characteristics based on that picture. God HAS NOT HID his identity from mankind because mankind IS the created image bearer, and NO OTHER CREATED BEING will ever bear that designation. That's why man is the vessel of dominion according to Genesis chapter 1 verse 28 because man is the vessel that was meant to express THAT dominion on behalf of His Creator. All authority in heaven and earth was given to Christ in bodily form, and He gave that authority to the believers who will operate ONLY in the will of the Father. There's much more to go over, but anybody that has a question? Go ahead, and I'll answer it based on Genesis chapter 1 verse 26-28 because THAT IS THE FOUNDATION of the doctrine of the Trinity in the Bible because that's the FIRST chapter of the Bible, and it's written by Moses.

Greetings, I am glad you came out of the Mormon cult. But you went from one cult into another, called Trinitarian-ISM. From Genesis to Revelation, there is one God, the God of Israel: The Father! Next to the Father is the supremely, highly exalted human being: Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, the perfect man, the Second Adam, the King of Israel. NOBODY in Scripture is a trinitarian. See, the distinction between the God of Israel and His servants??? It's all over the Scriptures. Trinitarians *always* use the same verses out of context, over and over again. It's actually boring and pathetic. If your so called triune god was in Scripture, there would be no need for word games, redefining words, lies ect ect.
The Greek word 'morphe' means an image, impress or resemblance. (Mark 16:12) Human beings are spoken of as having "a form ('morphe') of Godliness" (2 Tim.3:5). Gal.4:19 speaks of "Christ (being) formed in" believers. Because he had a perfect character, a perfectly God-like way of thinking.
Phil 2:6-11 "God also hath highly exalted" Jesus "and GIVEN him a name" (v.9) shows that Jesus did NOT exalt himself, God did it at his resurrection. The whole process of Christ's humbling of himself and exaltation by His God was to be "to the glory of God the Father" (v.11). The God of Israel *always* get the glory because He is the Almighty!!!

Jesus is alluding to the "One sent" that is spoken in a few of the prophetic books of the OT. There is a significance to this statement and it is a proclamation of Deity that is often overlooked as a nuance detail.

I think a little of the misunderstanding is that In Gen, God said to make man in their image. Our image is 1 being 1 person. So unless you split that up from being and person, you have 3 different Gods.

The way I understood this is I'd imagine one person with 3 images of different colours of the same person overlapping each other, but of course asserting that they're not limited to that body since God is not limited, and can act and move as they please.
They are both the same person, and not at the same time. They are both three different consciences and one at the same time. They both exist as one, but also exist separately at the same time. Together they are that person, and individually they are that person at the same time. They are both connected and separate at the same time.

I prayed on this because I didn’t understand. The Lord later on answered me and said “I am One” when I received the Holy Spirit I understood this even clearer . You can’t just explain it as it has to be given with Gods understanding. But it’s like this example: God is sitting on his throne. And there are two mirrors in front of Him reflecting Him. One to the left and one to the right. He makes the left reflection of Himself the Holy Spirit and He makes the right reflection His son Jesus, that He sends into the world. They are not 3 persons. But they are One.
I understand the 3 persons but using the word natures makes things simpler. As in Me, Myself and I.

For me it is easy in our lives we have many examples of something being one even thought it is form of many people, it is like a club, a club is form of thousands sometimes millions of people, but it is a club. in a club all the people have the same goal, purpose, objective, they are one. God are three persons and they are called God
Yes, many who argue that God is three gods (polytheism) miss this point that God is the Club, not the Persons.
Same with family. You need a father and a mother to have a kid. It is one family but three persons. Family is what compares to the one God. Not the persons, as the persons compare to the trinity of Father, Son and Holy spirit.

Furthermore Jesus is compared to Gods mighty arm (Isaiah 63:5). So in this picture we have God as a body (A body which Jesus also used in a comparison with the church, where Jesus is the Head). A body consists of many parts. Heads, arms, legs etc. But they are one and the same together. So I usually compare the Father as the Head, Jesus as the Arm and the Holy Spirit as the legs (makes us strong and willing to do things). In (Isaiah 63:16) Jesus is the same as the Father and the Father same as Jesus, aka both are God in same way as my head, my arms and my legs are different, but all are the one and only me.
This also explain how there is a distinction between the Father and the Son, as the Father was still on His almighty throne in Heaven while Jesus was walking around on Earth in a human body. As if God had sent his right arm on a mission, that is not all of God, although Jesus is also to his core 100% God of the one and only God.

But where is scripture depicting the Holy Spirit different than the Spirit of the Father. This explains the theoretical Doctrine in perfect detail and kudos, you make more sense than ANYONE i've ever heard regarding the trinity, but it doesn't actually PROVE anything. Most of it is conjecture and assumptions carried on from the Catholic church. No scripture actually proving it.

When Philippians 2:9 says that "God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name," it's obvious that God did not give Jesus a name above God's own name. The purpose of exalting Jesus in the first place was to bring glory to God the Father as verse 11 says. Paul said something in 1 Corinthians 15:27, 28 to help understand this. It says that God put all things under Jesus' feet. Does that mean that God is also under Jesus’ feet? No. Verse 27 says, "But when he says all things have been subjected, it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him."
Good example is hebrew word AHAD especially when it refers to MAN and his WIFE. When Tanah says, Gen 2:24: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cling to (hold onto; stick to) his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
Two persons, different in many ways, but Scripture says ONE FLESH- ONE BEING,, even when we dont see all the bonds of this union/

Cont... i was also an employee. I became a supervisor, boss then retired. Everyone of those relationships were seperate and distinct and i acted accordingly. Yet i am only one person, not 3 or 4 or 10 . God's creation speaks about his nature. The lamb, the eagle, the Dove, the Lion, the unmoveable mountain, the vast Ocean, the infinity of space etc, etc. I see and understand God all around me. I am not confused like the trinity doctrine that doesnt match from genesis to revelation. There is no contradiction in the Bible. It all dovetails perfectly as 1 God, 1 person. Trinity doctrine is confusion and contradictory. A catholic dogma. They canceled the name of jesus christ in baptism and replaced with titles that can be assigned to any god.
As I am listening to your description of one being and three persons, I cannot help but think of the Siamese twin. I think of Abby and Brittany, who have been studied extensively. In fact, Abby, but not Brittany, is married. Here is a rare example of one being with multiple (2) persons.

You do see beings with different persons in this creation, too. That's called being possessed, which is precisely the word you used to describe the persons embodying the being of God.
We see beings who are different persons all the time. Human beings. The easiest way to explain the Trinity is to make clear the difference between being (or essence) and person. For instance, me, my father and my brother are all the same being (human being) but we are three different persons. We are al equally human beings but different persons who all play different roles in the family. It's the same thing with the Trinity. All are equally God in essence and being but three different persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) all of whom play different roles in existence.

It's called compound unity, and yes, the created image bearer exhibits many aspects of compound unity just like his uncreated Creator does. So what's the issue? The issue is that most Christian apologists say that the Triune Godhead is too hard to comprehend when that's not the case. God MADE MAN IN HIS IMAGE and the image bearer doesn't have to look very hard to figure out the triune nature because man also has that triune nature in more than one aspect. Christian apologists need to quit lying about the Trinity being hard to understand, because it is the EASIEST part of the Bible to understand.

My friend, it is much simpler than some imagine. We as human beings are made in God's image and after His likeness. We are a three part being, Spirit, soul and body. God also is a three part being, Spirit, soul and body. One difference used to be that God dwelt in the spiritual dimension, and even His body was spiritual. But that changed when the body part of God took on the flesh of a human. Now God, just as humans, dwells in two dimensions, the spirit and the physical or natural.
Is my body a part of ME? Certainly it is. My soul (my mind, memories, will, emotions and affections) are all ME. So also is my spirit man "ME,) so I am me, myself and I - a triune being.
The Human spirit is the LIFE (breath) of the human being. The soul is the identity of every human. What is the human soul? It is our WILL, our mind, our emotions and affections. These parts of the human are eternal. Finally, a human being lives (during our life on earth) in a flesh and blood body that will, at some time, cease to function, at which time the spirit with the soul will leave the body.
It is easy to determine that the Holy Spirit is the spirit part of the Godhead. The second person of the Godhead is the Redeemer from the Old Covenant and Jesus in the New. He was the seen part of God, the one who appeared to Abraham. That leaves God the Father, the one seen seated on the throne, as the SOUL part of the Godhead. He is the WILL of the God head. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit look to the Father for decisions or directions.

Yes we do have three parts, the difference is that the three in the trinity are each different persons, which is different than our three parts of body, soul and spirit.

CS Lewis gave a great explanation regarding dimensions - how in lower dimensions you have certain elements - say, in the first dimension you have either vertical or horizontal lines. As you move upward into the second dimension you still have lines but they can combine differently and create new things - the multiple lines can now combine into a single square. As you move up into the third dimension, squares can combine into a single cube, and so on.
We are living in a lower, created dimension, so as Sam said we can only understand the concept of 1 person=1 being. God's reality (He IS reality, ultimately,) is of course more complicated and we shouldn't be surprised that things will be different.

• The Father say that He alone is God and no one else! (Isaiah 45:5 cf. 1 Corinthians 8:6)

• Jesus said God is not three person. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29)
• Both Jesus and holy spirit not all-knowing. (Revelation 1:1, Matthew 24:36)
• Jesus have a God over him. (Revelation 3:12)
Provide your verse that says God is one person. Not just one. One person. Show it to me. And your passages you quoted just says God is one, which the trinity means. Do you even know the trinity?

Almighty God the Everlasting father lives in the sacrifical lamb in bodily form, revealing himself to the world. Therefore Jesus christ is the exact representation and image of almighty God, and man is created in the image of Jesus christ, Everlasting father, as a soul/mind and spirit/life in a body as one person with a name. Jesus christ is the power eternal spirit of life and the wisdom/divine conscienceness of God in bodily from as one living God. This disproves the doctrine of the Trinity because of the so called three persons of this 3 in one God, only one, the Father Knows everything. Why does the Holy Spirit not Know everything the Father knows? Jesus is also unknowing of this information. Your explanation is take a false doctrine and manipulate scriptures that don't prove your point, and say they prove it because we are unable to really know the truth about God because he's unsearchable. You say because he's say's "To whom can you liken me" that somehow proves the doctrine of the Trinity. If this is the go to video then it just reaffirms my faith that Jehovah is one Jehovah. Mark 12:29 "Jesus answered : "The first is ' Hear O Israel Jehovah our God is one Jehovah." This is what he means when he says "To whom can you liken me." Not even slightly touching on the Trinity belief.

If you look at the the Greek, three different words are used in those three verses: Theion (God) in Acts 17:29, Theotētos (Deity) in Colossians 2:9 and theiotēs (divinity) in Romans 1:20...
As you can see there is no word there for ''Godhead'' in Greek and that translation is 100% due to the discretion of those that translated the KJV, although in restrospect it is not incorrect to describe all three instances as referring to the Godhead (but the translation itself to ''Godhead'' is not correct). Don't use that argument agaisnt the word ''Trinity'' or say that the word ''Godhead'' is used in the Bible, it is simply a false argument...

Amazing that for two thousand years billions of Christians, including so many theologians and doctors of the Church, got it wrong until you came along to give us all the correct understanding. Even all the apostles got it wrong, especially Thomas who called Jesus in John 20:28: “My Lord and my God” or literally “the Lord of me and the God of me”. Jesus didn’t rebuke him but accepted his statement. Wouldn’t this be blasphemy?

So to say this was a belief of “all” Christians and the apostles is at best matter of opinion. And at worst a lie.
As for John 20:28:

So Thomas may have addressed Jesus as “my God” for the following reasons:
He viewed Jesus as being “divine” though not the almighty God. (See Joh 1:1.)
Or he may have addressed Jesus in a manner similar to the way that servants of God addressed angelic messengers of Jehovah, as recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures. Thomas would have been familiar with accounts in which individuals, or at times the Bible writer of the account, responded to or spoke of an angelic messenger as though he were Jehovah God.
Or, some scholars say it was a means to express his wonder and amazement. Like we say today, “my God!”
Either way, the Bible shows 1st century Christians viewed God as THE FATHER. And Jesus is His “servant.” (Acts 4:27,30)

Thomas made that statement to Jesus as his Lord and God. Knowing that the gospel was going to be preached throughout the world, why would God want there to be confusion on this point, knowing that it would damn the souls of billions upon billions of people because they would be committing idolatry believing that statement? Or, does it not make more sense that the disobedient ones who choose not to believe what Jesus’s Church teaches and go on a different path and deny the divinity of Christ? Jesus gave authority to his Church to govern and teach the truth. If the Church failed in teaching the truth on this critical point then there is no reason to believe in Jesus about anything, which is exactly was the evil one wants.

Here he applies Proverbs 8 to Jesus.
I personally don’t put my faith in any Church father because as the Bible foretold, there was a great apostasy after John died. However, since many in Christendom love Ignatius……it’s important to note he believed Jesus was CREATED, unlike the Father. Which means many other early Christians who associated with the Apostles did too.
@@Aaron-gf7mo I have researched and what I believe is what has been taught by the Church since the beginning. The humanity of Jesus was created but he has always existed in spirit with God the Father and the Holy Ghost. Everything was created through him and for him (Colossians 1:16). Why would ANYTHING be created through and for some creature? Everything created is for God’s glory and he does not give his glory to another (Isaiah 42:8).

Sam this is the WORST attempt at trying to explain the Trinity Doctrine which is completely contradictory. The DEFINITION of a person is "someone who has their own centre of consciousness and will, own intelligence and personality. If you apply this to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit you have 3 independent thinking entities or beings and by default you have 3 Gods or Tritheism, which is NOT Biblical. The idea of God consisting of 3 Divine persons is nowhere to be found in the Bible. It was formulated by the early Catholic church during the Nicaea and Constantinople councils during the 4th Century. God is One Spiritual Person not 3 (Deuteronomy 6:)
