Wiring of 3-way light switches is certainly more complicated than that of the more common single-pole switch, but you can figure it out if you follow our 3-way switch wiring diagram. The way you did it makes it look like the circuit will work, but if you turn off the light using right or the left pair of switches you will never get it to come back on using the opposite pair of switches.

No solo funciona de los cuatro tres porque dos tienen que dar un cortocircuito para que se cumplan los toques.

Es verdad eso ne se puede....solamente se puede aser con los dos interruptores que son los que se utilizan en las gradas de dos plantas
Para funcionar uno de los dos primeros tiene que estar encendido, o usar diodo en el sistema para que funcione todos, saludos desde Brasil....

This is the Right way to do it by 2 switch 3 way in the first and the end and use the 4 way switches in middle .. U can add as many switches as you want from the 4 way switches but u have to start and end with 3 way

Just to let you know that his example didn't show the correct setup. He used four 3way switches. When in fact you need two 3ways and two 4ways. The first and last switches are 3ways switches. The middle switches has to be 4ways. No matter what.
For example you 10 locations of light switches the very first which must be a 3way switch and the last one has to be a 3way. All the final 8 middle switches have to 4way switches. In order to work.

And really the circuit sucks. If switches 1and 2 are such that the blue wire is disconnected from mains, the switches 3 and 4 cannot help the light turn on.

switch 1 or 2 must be in the ON position, then switch 3 or 4 can work, if switch 1 or 2 is in the OFF position then switches 3 and 4 do not work

There is a switch with 4 joint it called mid stairs switch and use a 3 joint switch in the first and the end of the stairs .. By this 4 joint switch you can add as many switches as you want

Non può funzionare !!!!! , semplicemente se 4 deviatori sono in posizione di condurre.
Per esempio devio il deviatore n.2 e successivamente il deviatore n.3 quest ultimo NON invia non fa passare nessun segnale elettrico ... il carico rimane spento ( ipotesi una lampadina come carico).
Per funzionare interruttore n.3 e n.4 si devono deviare insieme in poche parole insieme sono DEVIATORE INVERTITORE
Per soluzioni carichi da comandare da più punti:
2 punti: > 2 deviatori
3 punti: > 2 deviatori + INVERTITORE
4 ... o piu' punti utilizzare altri Invertitori.
Soluzione alternativa per numerosi punti di comando
N pulsante + un relais interruttore
( costo inferiore e montaggio piu semplice)

It does not work. In such cases use a bystable relay and all the swirches you want in parallel. First stroke opens contact, second stroke closes contacts.
