Seeing bowlers talk about something they love in an environment where they get to just relax and be honest really sheds a light on the fact these guys are human too- approachable, relatable guys who all just happen to be pro athletes. This is great content.
I remember the Peoria stop in 1985. I was there on the first day and I noticed Parker and told one of my buddies that Parker was going to be a great pro. His release was amazing. The next year, my wife volunteered at the tournament and she was the scorer for Parker’s group. Parker was extremely nice and gracious to her and she is a fan to this day.
You have been crushing it in this space! I'm glad the bowlers have given you their trust (at least the ones that let you mic 'em up and have these conversations). It's a good slot with the vloggers also showing some behind the scenes. We love this content as long as you can get the bowlers to share their info. I have a feeling that you are a part of the recent growth in popularity of the PBA. Bowling centers are filling up with fans watching these guys bowl. I know and have met a couple of these bowlers, and they are genuinely good people at heart.
At the time of my comment I just began watching this video. Without having seen it, I just love how you bring these unique style of videos for the sport of bowling. There are quite a few vlogs now, but this is a first. Keep it up!
THIS is EXACTLY what I meant in my comment on your previous video and I just couldn't click fast enough when I got the notification! No one else is doing this and, as a bowler & spectator, this type of content is what we've been waiting for. This group is perfect because they are all so different...age, success, style, etc., but all have that common experience of being on the PBA and share a love of the game. To have this discussion at the Holler House just makes it even more special. Parker's advice was invaluable for the other guys, but also for us bowlers in general. That was definitely a great way to end the round table and I can't wait for the next one. Awesome job, Ben! 👏🎳👏
Just came across your page about a few weeks ago and it has not disappointed. Pretty cool to see different perspectives of bowlers at different stages of their career.
That was an entertaining video from 4 outstanding bowlers, you see them on TV and they make it look easy,, but not realizing the time they took to get to that level, at the very end, Parker was talking to me, I'll try different things and bowl well,, like standing in front of the ball return, but I wouldn't do that in a tournament, now I realize i should at least try.
Excellent! Loved all the stories and knowledge from all the pros, but being older than Parker and getting into bowling when he was just starting was what I enjoyed hearing the best! Thanks
such a good video, really enjoyed every minute. would love to see a round table of some of the older dudes like parker, norm, pete and walter. Just hearing them talk about action matches or whatever would be amazing. thanks for the great video, please keep them coming. I really like how all these guys want to win, but if they lose they all seem to be happy for the winner. no other sport has the amount of mutual respect that bowlers on the pba have for each other. thanks again!!!
Thank you for this content. It’s very interesting to see this side of things. I hope you are able to continue making similar videos. Your channel in general is so unique and I enjoy that so much!
@@TenPinLife Absolutely! If you see Parker around some more, one of my favorite stories I heard him tell was from the 1999 ABC Masters when he bowled against Brian Boghosian. You guys talked a lot about stadium seating-that place was PACKED to the max!
Really well done! Thank you so much for this! You are on to something here.... It's definitely different from the vlogs, which are fun, but this is "behind the scenes" at a whole different level - and a very interesting one at that. Looking forward to more!
Thank you for that roundtable. Very refreshing look at the pba players.I like the interaction they had between each other. Well done!!! Hopefully you will be able to have more interviews like that.
@@TenPinLife yea it’s one of the many reason why I follow bowling vlog channels like house life to hear just experiences and stories that pros have had
I love all your videos. But I always like to where normal every day bowlers get to hear the inside story of how hard these guys work to get on national tour. I bowled regionals for about 5 years and loved every second of it. Had a good fulltime job so couldn't take the risk of going on national tour. But keep making these great videos
You have certainly moved to the top of my Vlog watching. Being new, and getting mic’d up and now this. Does the word spectacular fit? Looking forward to the next one. BTW I gave you a shout out in the PBA discord this week so I hope that helps the views.
Great job with this. In my opinion I think it would be great to get a table of the older guys to share some stories. I am not much of a bowling historian but love to hear stories like Parker's. With all the vlogs out there I feel like we get the youth voice already, not that they shouldn't be included in your content, but I think this was a great format that brought a very different feel. I look forward to seeing this grow. As always, keep up the great work!
I can't even tell you how valuable content like this is. At least for people who have bowling in their veins like I do. You fucking rock, man. Thank you so much. I hope you can put more of these together. I'd love to see Norm, of course. But Brad and Kyle would be great as well, and any bowlers from The House. I think if you did an interview with JR Raymond, he would give it to you straight. And a lot of people would love that,. Keep doing what you do man. I love this channel.
Parker doesn't live too far from where I bowl and he is building a training center at the alley too. Heard nothing but good things about him. Also I like the way this was done. Well done!
I have only been into bowling for a few years now but, when you bowl against anyone your really only bowling against yourself . Win or lose ! It’s your performance that counts.
Hey Parker, do you remember that ball seminar in 2017 at Firebird lanes in Salem where the 5th ever 900 series was shot? I asked you to sign your book for me and also the bowling pin my dad had signed by Mark Roth basically 30 years prior. Its still with us... Just Roth and Bohn III (Brunswick sponsored bowlers) signature on that old Brunswick Max pin.

Great stuff. As a lefty bowler, I'd like to hear from some lefty pros to see how they succeed and/or struggle in a prominently right handed sport. I know there are some struggles in my leagues and at my local tournaments. Parker is one of my favorites of all time. I'd like to hear from some of the veterans and some of the younger lefties to see how they deal with things. For me and other lefties out there, that would be super cool.
@@TenPinLife maybe it doesn't have to be controversial, more of just how they get through it, their mental processes, equipment choices lane play, things like that.
Brad, Kyle, listen first to EJ saying he's always been confident, then listen around 51:20 where Parker speaks of how confidence affects making ball and lane position decisions. And Kris?
