So glad this channel came up in my feed. Great job with EJ! Soon I'll be celebrating 50 years of my first adult league bowling. My claim to Fame is having been able to buy a drink for EJ, his then fiancee and Norm on night during the WSOB at Thunderbowl.
Hey ben it was pleasure meeting u! And talking a lil bit. And im glad i could help jump your car. I will b a fan of your show and good luck with future episode!
Good interview. I like that it feels real with you forgetting a name or place here or there. While doing research before hand is important, watching an interview that the interviewer could have just done with themselves isn't a great watch. This felt more candid which makes for more insightful interviews in my opinion. One suggestion would be for a second camera on the person you interview to cut in for any more dramatic/interesting stories. Even using a wider angle that you can manipulate in post works pretty well (allows for very small camera motion panning across or zooming in/out), just adds some additional visual interest. Enjoying catching up on all that you uploaded so far, keep it up!
I'm glad my intentional lack of preparation paid off, because that's what I was actually going for. Visual stuff comes with time. There were a lot of things I would have preferred to do, but when you're a one man show, creating quantity is more important than A+ quality right now. I hear you! I just had to accept some concessions for this run as I had no idea what I was walking into. Excited to give it another run soon!
@@TenPinLife yeah I realize how it can be as a one man show, that’s why I suggested the wider angle. I do some one man productions as well and with a single camera I shot a little bit wide in 4k which allowed me to zoom in and pan or do some slow zoom in and out (hitfilm express free editing software) and still get 1080 quality with only natural light and a single room lamp. Hopefully none of that was taken critically as I think you are doing great already, just some thoughts!
Fascinating! EJ and Monacelli are GOATS
Those guys are both great!

E.J. Great representative of the sport🎳
Having someone like him at the top of the sport is such a huge blessing for the PBA.

It was Tiger and the saying was “if you’re not nervous on the first tee, you ain’t ready”
I can't imagine not being nervous lol.
