- KTM engines are well known to be quite responsive and aggressive. They are also known for their vibrations/buzz. Can the Buzz be forgotten once you're on the bike and touching 10k RPM? Absolutely.
The bike wants the throttle to be open at all times and wouldn't hesitate when the throttle is whipped open. A proper sport bike in my opinion.
I prefer the 373cc engines more than the 399cc engines only because of how high they can rev up to. The feeling of touching 10k rpm and hearing the engine scream is what makes me want to keep pushing this bike and myself up to the limit.

Can you tour on this in our roads?
Well, the suspension did give me some back and shoulder pain. In case you're going touring, you'd have to change the clip ons for a handlebar and put some risers as well.
The suspension is hard, you can feel each and every bump on the road.
ninja 300 or this?
RC 390 any day. The Ninja 300 is a relic in 2024.
speed 400 or duke ?
I'd go for the Duke 390 only because of the performance.

Well, both bikes are new and you can't compare reliability of the engine right now.
It's a gamble buying a bike at this point considering the number of options we have in the 400cc segment which also includes the Himalayan 450. So, we can only expect a proper statement on reliability after a year.
