just wanted to say I love your vids Ben please keep them coming. I've just started earlier this year breeding canaries myself. I'm not doing to bad to be honest. I have four that are fully fledged, seven chicks that are a week old between two hens and three more hens sitting on full clutches that are a week in.
Luv the videos Ben hope you season goes well have a hen on her own now was on 4 eggs but is on 6 now took the goldie out a week ago you ever hear of this
Tottenham Hotspur If your talking about the metal ones then I was given them by a good friend. But if your talking about the wire cages then I got them from Essex Bird centre.
Inam Khan Hi Inam, are they definitely a pair. If there is a cock and a hen then what I would do is divid the cock from the hen. 1 week where he can't see the hen so in a cage by himself and then a week in the same cage with the hen but with a wire divider between them so he can see her. Give the hen alot of soft food. And maybe offer her 2 nest sites as she may not be happy with the site she currently in. All the best
Inam Khan If your in the UK then goldfinchs will start to breed any time now. I've found that if you remove the cock goldfinch for 2-3 weeks and then put home back with the hen it will hopefully get things started.

Hi Ben keep the videos going ii lovee them.
i want to ask do you trade ?
HugaBuga1
What do you mean trade?
Ben Martin like bird for bird
HugaBuga1
Ohh you mean swap birds with other people.
Well I do if that person has something that I want. Otherwise I just sell my surplus birds.
Ben Martin oh ok maybe we can trade??
HugaBuga1
Yes no reason why not. Just depends on what you have to swap
