Buying all of these parts with a few exceptions. A 1070 instead and 16 not 32 gb ram. Question, do all of the cords and such come with everything or is that sold separate??
How do you install the fans connection? I am having serious problem with it… where do I connect the two front fans and the one back fans cable ? Also I have master cooling 240 need to connect … so much pain
Literally planning to do this exact build. I have a question though, Can the Cooler Master cpu water cooler radiator + fans fit in the top of the case? I noticed you front mounted them, but I was planning to do them at the top.
I think I posted this question on one of your other videos but I'll replay here: So, I ended up doing this build. I connected all of my fan LEDs to the two JRGB headers on the motherboard, but nothing lights up. How did you connect your fan LEDs?
Take protective cover off m.2 heat sink u can see blue paper on it he didn't remove and I agree on price I have similar as well and didn't pay that much I believe that's a look at me moment lol
cant wait to get my pc case is NZXT S340 Elite and i7-8700K and MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO Graphics Card and 16GB (2x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB LED DDR4 3000Mhz Memory Kit and MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC Motherboard and 2TB Seagate BarraCuda 7200 RPM 64Mb Cache Hard Drive and 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and Kraken X62 280mm RGB Liquid CPU Cooler and Corsair 850 Watt Fully Modular RM850X ATX PSU/Power Supply and Microsoft Windows 10 and overclocked for £2,262.00
Is it possible to mount a 120 and a 240 rad to the top of the case? I've got a modded Titan Xp with an H55 AIO and it'd be nice to have both rads at the top to keep the front clear for intake, or even exhaust maybe.
Trying to build on a similar build, I’m having some issues with addressable RGB compatibility. How did you plug in all the fans? And how can I get them to all sync together?
I bet the MSI is great as well, my old PC has a MSI 770 and it lasted me for years and still runs fine. Had a MSI mobo on that one too and the update software has got some propper Engrish lol.
Dude you forgot to take the plastic off the thermal pad before screwing it down on top of the m.2 drive 5:25 lol, just a heads up for anyone using this as instructions. I have this EXACT motherboard it doesn't stay there it'll melt
Cheers dude! Yeah but just be careful when plugging loads of fans in that the case headers have enough power to output a strong enough split signal! :D
It's some kind of insulation tape? I noticed it before, that you somehow need to separate the cover and the m2 disk. And you actually have to cut the exact measurements before you put the tape on. I don't understand why it needs to be that way. Why do we have to do such third world installing on such an expensive motherboard?!
I'm assuming top and back fans are exhaust. Isn't having the 240 like that, although it looks cool, ineffective for airflow? I think it would be blowing hot air from the radiator into the case, hence the air the GPU sucks in to cool it is already hotter air. Can you not simply mount the 240 to the top and get better GPU temps while most likely not sacrificing CPU temps? Not really criticizing, just inquiring. Also, could tell me if the 240 is able to be mounted to the top? I'm most likely going to get the same case and CPU cooler if it's possible for the 240 to go on the top.
Firstly, you are correct in that you can mount the 240mm up top, but it won't make much difference to overall temps. If mounted at the top the radiator is pulling in hotter air, given that it will have warmed up by the GPU, motherboard VRMs etc, etc. If mounted at the front, the temperature increase of the air is pretty menial. The 200mm fans up front have a decent amount of pressure and also look ghreat, they may be slightly less effective than directly mounted 120mm fans, but they look cool! :D
GeekaWhat you could just mount the fans so the air is being pushed out of the top can't you? Anyway, I just wanted to know if the cooler fit the top, thanks.
I disagree honestly. If you go and watch my H500P review all my panels were secured perfectly and flush to the case chassis. Whilst the front and top plastic does feel a tad cheap, having glass there isn't the solution either, that would smash to easily and make the case *even* heavier...
from a consumer perspective you can build an AMD machine alot cheaper - i just wonder if the strong INTC and NVDA brands can just carry the price difference.
I was given the Case, PSU, Cooler & RAM to keep with the rest lent to me. All of these products were sent by the mentioned companies upon my request! :D
Really good, depending on the program the 1080Ti really will help! I would suggest the AMD platform though, with the new 1800x for superior editing performance ;)
The parts for this video were mostly lent from their manufacturers (they got sent back). The channel has however been recently sponsored by Cooler Master (after this video), who I'm super happy to have on board! :D
I'm UK-based, although I use US pricing because of my larger US audience! :D (plus the £ equivalent prices are often exactly the same in dollars because of exchange rates and additional taxes :P)
Watch my review dude, I think the problem was exaggerated tbh. It doesn't have the greatest airflow, but issues about build quality I contest sorely - my sample was not a pre production run which may have had some involvement...
Buying all of these parts with a few exceptions. A 1070 instead and 16 not 32 gb ram. Question, do all of the cords and such come with everything or is that sold separate??
wait so this build was 3500$? maybe im lost but i just built very similar rig with custom loop for much less
Yep for $1,999
Yeahhhh... that is specification i need. Can u tell me total cost? And what about the monitor? Any best monitor of 1440p 24inch?
Buying a very similar PC, would've got the 8700k but I bought my mobo and CPU like a day before it was announced :(
Great video for a NewB. Helped me with my Core i7 8700K, MSI Godlike Gaming MB, MSI GTX 1080i Trio build.
+Jay Bingham Cheers Jay - nice build you've got there! :D
How do you install the fans connection? I am having serious problem with it… where do I connect the two front fans and the one back fans cable ? Also I have master cooling 240 need to connect … so much pain
Agreed lol im lost rn
Amazing PC, very nice setup. 😌😌😌
i would like to see where you plugged all 8 fans
Did anyone notice the spelling of RAM is Am in the description.
AM I LOST
can you also only put 2x8gb in that motherbord?
Literally planning to do this exact build. I have a question though, Can the Cooler Master cpu water cooler radiator + fans fit in the top of the case? I noticed you front mounted them, but I was planning to do them at the top.
Ayy nice one man! It can indeed fit up top. Cooler Master have just releashed mesh versions of this case which you may want to look at! :D
I think I posted this question on one of your other videos but I'll replay here:
So, I ended up doing this build. I connected all of my fan LEDs to the two JRGB headers on the motherboard, but nothing lights up. How did you connect your fan LEDs?
anyone else notice that the hd audio cable was installed incorrectly 10:47? and front panel connectors into the usb connector 11:06 haha.
Lol
haha big in white letters USB on the connectors, FAIL
Everyone make mistakes.
What riser card you chose? Lovely video!
Nicely done and edited
Cheers dude! :D
what is the is a good gpu for i7 8700k for 1080p with no bottleneck
Take protective cover off m.2 heat sink u can see blue paper on it he didn't remove and I agree on price I have similar as well and didn't pay that much I believe that's a look at me moment lol

Nice one, I'm actually building this rig right now :)
Only I've got the aorus extreme edition 1080 ti instead of the MSI.
Ayy nice one! It's one hell of a system! :D
I bet the MSI is great as well, my old PC has a MSI 770 and it lasted me for years and still runs fine.
Had a MSI mobo on that one too and the update software has got some propper Engrish lol.
May I know what UPS system are you using for this CPU? I build a similar rig as yours xD
Can you put the riser cable in the description like you said?
Dude you forgot to take the plastic off the thermal pad before screwing it down on top of the m.2 drive 5:25 lol, just a heads up for anyone using this as instructions. I have this EXACT motherboard it doesn't stay there it'll melt
Do you know how many cm your riser card is in this video?
Great build, Pity that front perspex sheet chokes the 200mm fans for cold air intake & same for the graphics card being so close to the side glass.
Cheers dude! They've just released updated versions of the H500P at CES :D
Great! Hopefully someone uploads a vid about it, keen to see the 2.0 HAF box lol
I'll try and get my hands on one :P
built one on amazon with i9 10 core, 1080ti and rog rampage with 64gb ram at 4000mhz
This one is good I must build this one
Absolutely amazing PC
Beautiful right :P
extremely
Cooler master H500P case, do you think uATX motherboard will fit?
I was just wondering which gpu riser cable you used because I can't find one for my build
How do you connect all of the fans?
Did you remove the sticker from the 960 EVO thermal plate?
is it okay if i remove the 200mm fans and put 3 140mm instead on the front?
you didnt take the sticker on nvme heatsink on motherboard i am not talking about label on the ssd.
Nice build. Does the mystic sync work with the case fans?
Cheers dude! Yeah but just be careful when plugging loads of fans in that the case headers have enough power to output a strong enough split signal! :D
Sticker!
How good is this pc?
You connected front panel connectors to the USB connector
I cant instal to a Cooler CPU Corsair H150i RGB, 3x120mm ?
can you recommend any good corsair cases what will fit rog stix 1080ti
Is there a plastic cover under m2 disc cooler?
It's some kind of insulation tape? I noticed it before, that you somehow need to separate the cover and the m2 disk. And you actually have to cut the exact measurements before you put the tape on. I don't understand why it needs to be that way. Why do we have to do such third world installing on such an expensive motherboard?!
Its a protective cover for he thermal pads

Anyone recommend other changes to this build or this is perfect build... planning to build one ... thanks
RTX 2080 ti instead of 1080 ti if you have the money
$3500 is about 14k ++ in my region
Noooo :(
How do you can connect all fans to the motherboard?
You forgot to remove the sticker off the m.2 heatsink thermal pad, and the sticker off the samsung m.2....
Can you do a 700 dollar 1440p gaming machine in canadian dollars. Much love from Canada keep it up
ThatBoiJus thats as hard of a job as saying the human eye sees 31 fps
WAIT BUT I THOUGHT THE HUMAN EYE COULD ONLY SEE 8.4FPS?!
GeekaWhat yo no way😰
Radiator mounted behind the case fans? Not quite sure about that.
+MrNiceGuy Yep, works really well in terms of temps! Check part 3 of the series :D
Which camera do you use
Lumix GH5 from Panasonic! :D
What's the song at the start? Also awesome video Geeka some good hardware porn right here.
6 fans on front :D insane . what about sound of them ?
It is dude! because there's so many of them I was able to turn the speed down on them, thus making them super quiet! :D
Many reviews are telling its glass windows is very loosly held. Is this case worth buying ?
I would not recommend it. The case consists of cheap plastic (the quality is as cheap as it looks). The glass panel and top panel are very loose.
I disagree honestly. If you go and watch my H500P review all my panels were secured perfectly and flush to the case chassis. Whilst the front and top plastic does feel a tad cheap, having glass there isn't the solution either, that would smash to easily and make the case *even* heavier...
Dude change the case! The h500p has horrible airflow. i would suggest fractal design define r6. it has much better airflow and is pretty silent
the temps .
what the temps in games 4 k ..?
Wont turn on. Check your electric bill. Did you pay the bill. Haha
from a consumer perspective you can build an AMD machine alot cheaper - i just wonder if the strong INTC and NVDA brands can just carry the price difference.
why push pull on front and not on top dude?
I thought the 8700k only supported dual channel ram
Do you build these for people or just for yourself?
+rocker Just for videos :D
Companies supplied you the parts for the video or to keep ?
I was given the Case, PSU, Cooler & RAM to keep with the rest lent to me. All of these products were sent by the mentioned companies upon my request! :D
Can i know how you contacted ? i.e. their email id's or something... i have a channel with 200k subs and was looking for sponsorship for my build!
I can't give over personal PR contact details I'm afraid, but the PR email addresses for the appropriate companies are on their websites! :D
What’s it like for video editing mate?
Really good, depending on the program the 1080Ti really will help! I would suggest the AMD platform though, with the new 1800x for superior editing performance ;)
Thanks a lot GeekaWhat! 😎
Oh no, he forgot to remove the m.2 sticker .....
How do u get sponsored so early?
The parts for this video were mostly lent from their manufacturers (they got sent back). The channel has however been recently sponsored by Cooler Master (after this video), who I'm super happy to have on board! :D
This man was so skinny 😂😂😂😂
3 fans stacked lmao
It looks pretty cool tbf haha :P
Can we get a "fiddly" counter please?
Current 'fiddly' counter = 24,762
Are you US based? Just wondering why everything is in $ and not £.
I'm UK-based, although I use US pricing because of my larger US audience! :D (plus the £ equivalent prices are often exactly the same in dollars because of exchange rates and additional taxes :P)
Could someone build me a simple streaming pc? :-) Great vid though. Trully love it! :)
Zapomniałeś o osłonie na bacplate.
i dodatkowo o metalowej osłonie po lewej stronie. Mam tą obudowę ja złożyłem komputer niczego nie pomijając.
Just FedEx me the PC and we all good
lol no :P
3500 dollars and no RGB strips or Custom sleeved cables...
That is a rookie mistake to put cables where the CPU is at 12:37
The CPU will melt those wires one day.
Completely incorrect, the CPU won't melt those wires at all.
GPU fans facing the glass. Hmmm not the best way to cool a GPU
If youre building that much amount of pc parts why tell viewers to "save"? You are not building a budget build
Worizo guys wolcom baack
lol :P
GeekaWhat xD
Rouuuu rouuuu
S
DADDY!
Haven't seen a comment from you in a while :P You been slacking? xD
mydybou
too many fans mate....TOO many....
You can never have too many fans!: D
This is hardly "insane" pc
Everything is ok except the case. The case has poor airflow as was extensively covered by most reviewers
Watch my review dude, I think the problem was exaggerated tbh. It doesn't have the greatest airflow, but issues about build quality I contest sorely - my sample was not a pre production run which may have had some involvement...
Putin saoulant
First
Damn, beat me to it! :P
"INSANE $3500 Gaming PC"...and shity computer case....and vertical card ("better" temps.):D
I know...that why I wrote "better". Vertical is nice to look but temps are bad:)
Weird lisp.
