5.0L Fox Mustangs are only going to increase in value if they are kept in realtively stock, original and clean condition. The fact you have a white, 5 speed with a black interior, makes your GT very desirable as far as '87-'93 GTs go. The fact you have 2 other Mustangs makes the decision to keep the Fox as original as possible is something you should consider. Bring that Fox up to as new condition as possible and I'd say you'll have a $20K Fox in a few more years. Yes, the prices are going up fast.

Hey Kevin thank you!! I'm actually starting to find a bunch of problems with it lol. Looks like I have some serious work ahead of me haha.. How long have you owned your 88 for? What all are you doing to it?
WOW, Finally a woman that loves sticks. I had a 1966 and I had it for 33 years. I hate automatics. The 5.0 is a Great Motor, I think you got a Great Deal.. Very Smart Buyer!!!
I noticed you said "had", did you sell it? I'm with you, there's something about driving manuals that makes me happy! I've always loved the older mustangs.😍
Congrads , you're gonna love it ! Easy to work on , parts are still relatively easy to find . I currently have a 88 and 89 LX's
You have two Fox bodies?! Okay you win lol! So far I love it! 😊 It's been my dream car for a long time
I have 3 myself. 88 T-top (very low production numbers so very rare) 88 hardtop I bought from the original owner who was in his 70's so very well taken care of and a 90 hardtop. I've had a total of 20 of them and that number will continue to grow. Seems like you found a nice Mustang and with a little TLC it will be beautiful car! CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations... I've had several and now I'm searching for another lol... My very first was a 1992 Notchback 5.0
The notchback mustangs are absolutely beautiful!
Just found your channel. I have a 91 fox convertible. 5.0 5 speed. Drove it 100 miles today ! No problems of coarse!
Oh yessss!!! Fox Body's are the best!! I've driven mine about that much too already haha... So far it's driving really good🙏
$4000-$4500 is about what 5.0 Foxes are going for in my area(VA) But from the sounds of it the engine is in good shape so 5k sounds pretty good.
Oh and that pipe coming out of the engine is a cold air intake, a common and easy mod people do to stangs.
Hello Blaze!! I used to live out in that direction (Maryland by Chesapeake Beach). I just did an emissions test on it and it passed with flying colors. I think the engine is pretty tight, but it has a bunch of other problems that I will walk through on my next video
Just subscribed after stumbling upon your vid. Congrats that’s my dream car even though I have a 96 cobra
Hey Bruce!! Owning a Cobra is my dream car haha! Maybe we can swap them for a week or two lol 😆🙃😋
Lol of course I just moved to Colorado once summer comes around.
I rolled around in an 82 Hatch 5.0 that belonged to old friend that he destroyed back in the day lol .. but people must remember FOX bodies was not that old to a late 60's and 70's Muscle cars as they rolled with some Dusters and Trans Am back then .. I bought a triple white 1984 LX 5.0 Drop Top auto recent for $3000 that needs a top and refresh of interior but to still be in High School till 1986 I just kind vibe with older stuff and I'm going to give it to my 17 old daughter ..
My car is 2001 GT Convertible Deluxe auto Silver on Silver with Black top which I bought about 9 years ago, also I like your channel !
5 k is a good deal for a stock black interior gt in good condition.
I wouldn't say good condition anymore lol, the more I drive it the more issues I'm finding. 😔😬. At least it looks good lol!
@@GirlsDigMustangs it is almost 30 yrs old so there will be some issues but the good news is they makes most of the parts to fix it up.
@@GirlsDigMustangs The seats are from a 90-91 If you have any questions about the car please feel free to ask. Great video!
@@GirlsDigMustangs I look forward to your next video on this car!

Keep the videos coming! Sub with a 88 notch 5.0 and a 2000 gt with a built 4.6 been playing with these cars for about 25 years! Run pony run!
Marry me? My 88 foxbody needs a girlfriend.
Wanted one of these so bad back in the early 90's! 😁👍
MY FRIEND has a FOX Body *lowered* on 19 inch rims!!

It's pretty SICK!!
Sweet find, stock aero GTs are the best imo. Had a 91 as my first car and I loved it, the 89 I have now is a huge project but I love it too. Those cheese grater tail lights have to go though.
Omg I randomly landed on this. I love your enthusiasm soooo much I subscribed. My dad bought an 87 GT convertible when I was 14 and have so many great memories with my dad and that car. I picked up the girl I’m marrying this year in that car when we were both 16👍
Thank you Chris! Love your story as well!
Awesome, and you're beautiful
Thank you!
6:20 is the best part. That exhaust. And I'm that one weird that likes all of the extra warning chimes.
MY BUDDY has a Fox Body with a *CRAZY* nice exhaust sound!! ua-cam.com/video/3LzTuuDfA3M/v-deo.html plus it's modded to the *MAX!!*
Good taste and you are beautiful!
Oh thank you!
Girls Dig Trucks where are you from? I have an 03 GT
I live in Utah :)
Just bought a '83 GLX convertible 5.0 with a Manual for only 2500! Runs amazing!
Yasss!! Nice find Ruben!! Do you have any plans for it?
When it's a stick you can name Him, an online name it contest, I vote Casper 5.0. U did Ok at $5000. World Class 5sp worth $1,000 more than ordinary auto + cond for a daily driver.🤑😍🎂
Congratulations. That's one beautiful Fox. #LONGLIVETHEFOXBODY
😋😜Chants..."Long live the fox body" haha
Great taste. 5.0s with flowmasters ruled my highschool parking lot!
I would love to add flowmasters to it! (unless it already has them 🤔) I've never checked lol
I drove a 2020 Mustang GT and loved it. Mustangs are so much fun.
Did you buy it!?
Foxbodys are the best! Also the Foxbody Community is great. I'm sure you will have no problem with anything you may need. Take good care of it! The 5.0 sound is the sound of love 💕 Go easy on the tires young lady! 😆
👍👍 on Fox Body purchase. Bonus points for choosing the 3 pedal car(5 speed). I bought my 90 LX back in 2006. I still own it.
This will be your favorite car nothing feels like a fox
I had one of those just like that in 92 . Such a sweet ride .
It's probably my most favorite car I've ever owned 😀
I’m from Idaho, and that is one beautiful mustang.
Now this makes me jealous. Foxbody Mustangs are the best Mustangs ever. They are so hard to find now.
Just check for rust around the hatch and wheel wells.....love the cheese grate taillights. Don't change em.
haha I like the cheese grates too!! I think we are the only two though. So we need to stand strong lol😋
❤I love a woman who can drive a 5 speed and one who loves cars especially Mustangs 😅
My first car back in 2003. I didn't know what I had. Now i'm ready to buy one again now that they cost 5x more than I sold mine for.
WOW!... 92GT white ..Had one just like that.. my mechanic totalled it on a test run.. Now I have a red one 92GT 500bhp.. But white was always my first choice.. Grab it a run..at 5000G.. I would give them 6 for keeping it so good. and wouldn't feel bad
awesome, you are badass for digging a foxbody. from fox owner to fox owner, 1 love from the bay area 🤙
Thats awesome just bought a 91 same color and everything enjoy it we owned the streets in the 80s 90s with those things a real piece of ford history,go girl!!
Yass!! Congrats Rex on your new purchase! So I have to ask, if you don't mind, what did you pay for it?
@@GirlsDigMustangs I bought it off a friend of mine for 4000 in pretty good shape!
Very wise choice little lady. Make sure you keep us posted on your upgrades. Good luck with it.
So awesome to see a girl into mustangs especially foxbodies. I had the same exact car 92' gt white on black. These are very special cars. Enjoy it!👍
I noticed you said "had." Do you not have it anymore?? And thank you, I really do love this car 😍
@@GirlsDigMustangs sold it a few years back, but I have a 93' gt white with grey interior now. These cars are so much fun! Can't wait to see more videos of your mustangs.
Congrats !!! ...Sweet 'Stang :):):) ...I had '92 GT that Iooked exactly like yours, except mine had a red interior... Factory ordered and bought it brand new... LOVED that car, but had to sell it when wifey and I started having children :/:/:/
I have a fox body 1985 GT convertible with an automatic. Don’t ever modify that car. Way too many of these have been modified that there’s no turning back. The engine has 225 horsepower and 280 torque. Just do long tube headers and flowmaster exhaust and that’s it. Give it a tune up and clean it nicely and you’ll have a sweet car
Love seeing the ladies getting into the fox life. U are right when u said u rarely see em on the road. U just got a new sub. Wanna see what u do with that fox.
Thank you so much!! I LOVE the Fox in your profile pic!!😍
Nice find! Black interior and a manual. I just finished restoring my white 92 5.0 lx hatch. Got a ton of parts here in Utah county if you need anything. Welcome to the fox family!
That is amazing! Congrats on finishing your project. How long did it take you? I might just take you up on those parts haha. My Fox needs just about everything right now lol
@@GirlsDigMustangs It took just over a year. We did paint, interior and rebuilt the engine. It was my first time doing a full engine rebuild and first time painting a car but it turned out ok. I've owned several mustangs but this is my original. I sold it 12 years ago but then in Dec 2018 I found it and bought it back again. It needed everything! If it's only 42,000mi, that's a steal! Still not a bad price at 142,000. That's one thing I hated about most ford's from that time. That five digit odometer.
Awesome to see a female excited about an old fox body!! Fun video! Thanks
Wow congratulations! I brought my 91 red foxbody for 5k 2yrs ago and it was the best deal that I ever made... I can relate to your video of the feeling...Welcome to the foxbody club ...There are alot of foxbody groups on Facebook to join and help out or meetup for cruises
Hey Mr Lengend!! Love your UA-cam name lol! I didn't even think about joining any groups, so thank you for the tip. Have you done any modifications yet? Or kept it stock?
Nothing better then a fox with a fox so beautiful car looks great also lol
Know how you feel. Got me a triple white 91’ GT convertible a few months ago. Went all the way to Pittsburg, California to pick up from L.A. still in love with it. Bout to get me an 04’ Terminator as well.😁
What!?!? That is soo cool! I just googled that drive....that's 6 hours! Did you trailer it back or drive it back? Keep me posted if you ever get a Terminator as well, I love those!

I love your Foxbody purchase. It was totally worth that. I'm looking for one currently (I've had 3 in the past; wrecked 2... booo!) and can not find one in decent condition for anywhere near that $. That's cool! I hope to see some more content soon on your new baby..
You've had 3!? That's amazing! Well good luck finding another, let me know if you do...these cars are lovely 😀
$5k really isn't too bad. minor rust and the car ran good. decent paint too, i would've tried for $4,800
Lol thanks! I tried so hard to get lower than 5k, but they would not budge at all. It was a take it or leave it price. So I took it 🤗😁
That was really smart of you to check the oil before even starting the vehicle so many people don't ever do that but I have a 1988 Notch 5.0 LX completely restored it took me a good five years but if I was to show you the before and after photos I love when people's reactions they can't believe it's the same car but that's what is good people get tired of fixing their vehicles and most of the time it's just a little TLC and you'll have a great car
I love how you appreciate that car so much and find so much beauty in it. Most people would look at that car and think "wow what a piece of crap" very awesome to see!

Awsome, hard to find a white one with full black interior.
WOW! Another great find! Congratulations on another awesome Mustang purchase. A nice mostly stock fox body is hard to find these days. I say keep it as original as possible. I am officially jealous!

Great job on the find, car looks like it stayed mostly in stock form. I think there's some weird panel gaps, and besides the obvious that you pointed out, car looked and sounded pretty healthy. Thanks for sharing
It's kind of like watching a baby explore the world for the first time. LOL
For the right price I'd buy that 10 times out of 10. Not saying 5k is right either lol. It's in much better shape than my 90 when I acquired it though. I got one of those cars that should've been left where it was haha. Took a bit of work to make it right, but you live and learn. Gotta love that air bag beep too lol
First time seeing one of your videos; subscribed bc it is not usual to find a female who is legitimately into cars and provides good content.

Thank you Leonardo!! 😀 I'm glad you like it! I'll be the first to admit I'm not that knowledgeable on engines... but my real passion in life are cars
@@GirlsDigMustangs Hey, one of the best ways to learn is through hands-on experience, plus the internet is a great source to learn and receive constructive feedback (sometimes haha). Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about that, just enjoy your cars. Looking forward to seeing what that Fox can do!
Always check ALL fluids...not just the oil....remove the radiator cap (if cold) and look for rust...check the power steering fluid to see how dirty it is.
If I buy a car with over 100,000 miles I always change ALL the fluids in it that way u start fresh.
You mentioned it "shakes" when u were getting on it.....was the steering wheel shaking?
I have a 1984 20 year anv edition GT 350 66,000 original miles. I was extremely happy with my find. I kick myself because I also used to have a 84 20th anv gt turbo🤦. I kick myself for getting rid of it. I love my Fox body.
The first mod is an aftermarket shifter. It makes a big difference.
Any suggestion on which kind? The clutch is super stiff...would this help?
I bought mine in 1997, I was 17. The car was from Idaho as well, bought it in Cincinnati Oh. I brought it home with an Idaho plate and my mother threw a shit fit😂. Everything worked out, and still have the car today
First mod, get rid of those headlights
I can't believe you still own it!! That is amazing! I am hoping to keep this car forever as long as I can get everything fixed haha
Hey thanks for the great information!! 😃🙏. And I agree with everything you said. My Fox has a bit more issues than I originally thought, but I still love it regardless.
Glad you didn’t settle for the auto a 5 speed is so much more fun
I love your profile pic and name haha! I remember that show. True classic lol

Why did you sell it!?! I saw the Exhaust video on your 1996 Cobra where it knocked down the camera haha. That things sounded nice!

@@Bighawaiian99 please enlighten me as to what a Fake 5.0 Is??
Hell- Sol Well it’s easy there’s a difference in engine size. The last year they made the foxbody Mustangs was ‘1994. So Ford changed the body style in 1995 and went with small block 4.6 V8 which is 281 in cubic inches. The ‘93 in the video is original 5.0 which cubic inches of the block 302 V8. I use to own the same exact one in the video. It was a fun car !! Working them is pain sometimes! Lol
