- We purchase a low milage, Two owner Fox Body Mustang GT. It was stored in a chicken barn. We give it it's first wash in a decade to see what it will look like clean. Can we get it ready in time to bring to our local cars and coffee?
I had a '91 GT that I bought new. I eventually sold it for a larger family car, but it was the most reliable vehicle I ever owned and was really fun to drive.
Those are really nice cars. Thanks for watching
Very reliable, even when abused by young gearheads. Ford broke the mold with these cars
@@danfriesen4417 I agree
I bought my 87 notch new, stored it during winter, and I still had the flaking paint like yourself. I had it painted in 97 and still drive it in the summer. 350,000 km and going strong. Most reliable car ever.😊
Ooh the notch.. those are the most desirable body style..
I am an original owner of a 90 GT same color (Ultra Blue) and trim, not a base model though, 49K miles, mostly OEM, turbine wheels, etc. Still runs okay, needs some suspension work. Fun to drive😊
Wow that’s so cool. Glad you still have it.
I like how the 50's Porsche cut off the 4 eye Mustang in the Top Gun clip.... 😁
Love the survivor. I saw the smile your son had when driving to the show....he's hooked.
Smiles for Miles!
I remember I would skip school to test drive these cars. Looking at it brings back memories. Beautiful car 👍
Great find! Just picked up a 92 gt myself that's been sitting in storage for 4 years. Looking forward to more videos. 😁👍
Got more coming thanks.. enjoy your new one as well
My '86 looked just like that. Exact same car. Bought it in Dearborn off the showroom floor.
I want another one like that again.. so cool to buy it new.. I bet that felt amazing
Cool video, new to the channel. Tuning in now brotha
Thank you hope you enjoy it
That is my dream Mustang to a T the color the year everything about it is perfect
Even the stirring wheel because in 1990 the put airbags in the wheel I think it look much better without the blue two tone with the light blue pin stripe that is perfect
Good idea.. I was going to have the silver freshened but I may just paint it blue.
Very cool car! Im glad the paint came back!
Awesome pick up. Definitely a survivor. My brother has an 87 GT the same color.
I have a real appreciation for this color it’s nice
Nice find... sure brings back some good memories from by brothers 2 tone white 88 GT.
those are cool
I had that same car, same color and everything, damn do I miss it
Very nice find. I always liked the blue and silver cars. I have an 88 LX that is far from stock. Manual windows are the way to go. Congratulations
It’s difficult to keep it stock 😆
Manual mirrors are fairly rare
I didn’t realize that.. the less power the better in my opinion.. less things to fix
225 hp? They only had 210 factory. Sadly that was more than the C4 Corvette. The mid 70's- early 90's sports cars were extremely anemic.
Wrong. 87 had 225 hp factory.
According to my research 87 got some different heads and a few other tweaks for the 225hp and 300 tq rating
The were a good foundation to make more power and have a pretty fun car
My 89. 225 when stock
Don’t know where he got 210 from
I haven't watched yet, but before I do: PLEASE leave the Turbines and Cheesegraters on it!
Absolutely will do.. thanks
@@lumberjackgarage193Glad to hear it! Also thanks for reminding me I need to coat my shock towers. They're already scaly.
@@JRC99 one of the main problem areas.. definitely get after it..
Nice car
thanks
Ford always has paint issue up until today. Ask how I know?
Agreed
I noticed the right front fender has been replaced.
What makes you think that?
I know where your shop is, ive been through the lot looking
Cool thanks for coming by
Noooo not a brush 😒 to wash
I get it.. I used it intentionally to scrub whatever would come off.. then I did a clay bar and then a two step compound.. typically I’m not a brush guy after I’ve done paint correction
Where do y’all be finding these cars man 😪
That fox was a pretty good find.. I stumbled across
@@lumberjackgarage193 I’m excited to get into one soon. Hopefully a 87-89 GT
@@champking20 good luck on the search
i have a black loaded
these are worth keeping ..
Whats the color code?
“Barn find” status is not as important when a manufacturer made 2.6 million examples of a model.
