Diablo 4 achieved the feat of being worse than Diablo 3. Even in terms of graphics, Diablo 3 is more attractive, has more atmosphere. In Diablo 4, the graphics look like artificial intelligence tools were used to create worlds, maps and physical models of characters. The price of the game went beyond common sense. It's a generic game, with no life, no content, no artistic personality, no variety of items and builds. It was all done in a hurry to sell cosmetics in the Blizzard store. Grim dawn for me is still my favorite arpg.
i like set items not used as a leveling or grinding item but for cosmetics and collection and completing a set item gives me a sense of fulfilment every time i completed a set piece ❤
Diablo 4 is perhaps the most badly designed game of all time when you consider how much money and resources they had to create the game. Looks good. Combat is OK. Systems are all terrible.
I think set items have a place in the game. They shouldn't be end game gear but I think they would work well for leveling alts and low / mid level characters.
They would and its clear in practice if you go play the D2 mod MedianXL they have sets but most of them are mid tier gear. Only a couple builds use them in end game and even then its 4 pieces of gear not all of it.
Also fun fact. Mike , i think hes the senior dev in last epoch . But hes a huge fan of diablo 2. So there is TRUE gamers making this game. They get it. Not some corporate cash grab.
@8:17 I'm not a fan of sets either, I prefer mixing and matching legendary effects. Sets lock you into a particular playstyle with less modifiability, and you have to target farm them which gets tedious.
Luckily in LE there aren't any real game-breaking sets. I honestly don't even know of any builds that use set pieces. They have some cool features but I think the devs knew what they were doing when they made them.
i love D2 sets. They are mostly for leveling and nobody cares in late game. There are some classes (sorc) that may pick up a 2/3/4-piece bonus, but most of the time you just equip other stuff. And for leveling its not even that the sets are overpowered, they are just good enough, so that you can run with them without having to worry about picking up upgrades along the way
I don't mind sets in ARPGs really, as long as they aren't so strong that they make doing anything else pointless once you have them. Sets that change how a character plays, but not make them more powerful than a build used by non set items can be really interesting to work towards and be a fun reward for hunting everything down.
I'm a Diablo player and dude I got bored 4 months ago and never went back and already forgot that Diablo exists.. Blizzard is like a cheap company pleasing for money and acting like OnlyFans!
IDEA: "Rune of Fate" a 50/50 of either acting as a Rune of Shatter or giving the item +X Potential. (Only drops at like level 90+, or maybe a blessing that can make them drop)
"Is the a ladder for different classes" Like damn Quin... You should not worry about that since you will never get there. Unless you you can filter it to show from last ones first.
D4 was my first ever deep dive into an aRPG and by deep dive I mean sinking a lot of hours. I wasn’t around for d2 when blizzard was “north” or so I hear. D4 is okay and has potential but the past 3 days I’ve played last epoch 40 hours and as a D4 player I LOVE Last Epoch and it’s a PERFECT middle ground between d4 and PoE. Trust me. PLAY IT! You won’t regret it if you like d4.
Wow hearing Flyff to be used as an example, that shit game had some good systems but was overshadowed by its heavy monetization. Even the leveling and class systems were fun when xp events happened atleast. I remember hitting 105 for the first time and getting a maxed +10 blade set. Multi boxing your own RM, good times
On the skill trees, i do have to say that the way D4 skill trees are setup it looks like they could easily expand the trees for skills. I would be mind blown if they don't do it with expansions eventhough i probably still wont play it.
I'm a longtime Diablo player. D2 was the best. I'm enjoying D4 hella more than D3! As for Last Epoch, I love it! I can't wait for the official launch. I put my Necromancer on hold only because I want to play in the new cycle, not in the Legacy option. I wish LE maps were a bit more wide open, but overall the game is great. The crafting system is way cool! The classes seem cool too.
Lol, the one comment in Quin's chat from 'Xypha' regarding stash tabs "You actually don't need that many, you're a hoarder and have problems if you do." Then later continues to say: "i'm yet to fill more then half my stash and played the first 2 seasons no problem." He's actually being serious and thinks he makes a legit argument. Imagine being that stupid. Also, for the set-enthusiasts out there: Yes, set-items are a thing in LE but you will RARELY if ever find a single set item in any late-game builds. There might be a niche exception out there since single set items already offer a transformative effect in some way but you usually have a way better option out there regardless. The reason why set-items don't hold up is that they can't be altered in any way, so they will always lose out to crafted uniques and Exalted items in terms of stats. So, consider set-items more of a early/mid-game gear that helps you leveling your character or get through the campaign smoothly.
I'm not going to go over the top defending D4. It's got bad loot, bad skill trees and other issues. However I don't understand the stash complaint. The level of hoarding that I've seen people do is absurd. I've played on and off since release and leveled several characters. There just isn't enough loot in the game, period, to fill those stash tabs.
You know. I feel like ARPG's expose how people like to pretend to be stupid. I've never seen so many people actively insult themselves when it comes to video games. These games aren't any more complicated than MMO's and vastly more people play MMO's. They look at a few icons and think they need to be a chess grandmaster to full comprehend them.
I was starting to feel bad for diablo 4 dev's, started to even think maybe it got better, I download it again, logged in, opened skill tree, played 5 min, opened skill tree a last time and I was like nah i'm out.
Nahhhh he did not bring up flyff.... Flyff is pure P2W "crafting" getting random stats or using P2W items to reroll only certain stats, upgrading is ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU INTERACT WITH THE CASH SHOP Never ever return and play flyff again if you have nostalgia for it. Keep those pure memories intact.
to be fair as a d3/4 casual i never fill stash tabs, and i played d3 for YEARS on and off, i just dont give a shit about items because power creep was so nuts on d3 that an item from 3 months ago was like 10% of the damage of a current one
The worst part about all this is that the devs for Diablo 4 will tweet that we, the customers, are the problem and that their game is amazing as it is.
quin says LE monolith of fates is bedge... Heist x 100 runs is fun? Mapping is...fun? Strand x 100 enjoyable? lol And at the end he says he wont play it at launch...but he will,1000% within a few days. He'll see every streamer and all his arpg streamer friends playing and want to play it too. login. LE > POE
They either did not have the tech to actually create large stashes, which is bonkers because that shouldn't be that hard. Every well liked ARPG has them. "OR" they wanted to keep the option of monetizing them. That will be a real canary in the coal mine for them. If they monetize them in any way, like putting them behind paid DLC, we know this game will forever be the worst of the major arpgs.
how can quin tell the monolith system is not engaging? he didnt even play endgame yet. he havent done 1 single lvl 100 monolith boss. Classic 0/11 take
Look I pretty much grew up on Diablo1-2 and a bit of 3, and loved playing them when ever the hell I could. but I'm not delusional to think that D4's the best game in any degree. Pretty much any dev team that makes games like this can make a better game than blizzard now.
Kind of sad that I actually had fun 3-4 days playing D3 season 30 while after less then 2h on D4 I was like fuck this and decided to wait for last epoch launch.
With out watching the video, I'd question what defines a [Diablo 4 player]? someone who has never played Diablo 1-3 and only played 4? Someone who has only played 1 dungeon looter RPG being D4? Because thats the only niche group that I could imagine that would 'hate' a similar game. now if they just aren't big on the hype that others are pressing upon them, thats fair. All too often players want others to hate or love something they do. So if you approach someone hyping up a movie or game that you enjoyed...it sets expectations higher. If you played Last Epoch with no hype or expectations, and you enjoyed other Dungeon looter RPG games, you'll enjoy it too. Its not some ground breaking game in the genre. It has some bold features vs others, but its gameplay is, well, what you'd expect. I think it takes from alot of the dated elements that its peers take too. We need a more refreshing take on dungeon looters then the classical [campaign] into simplistic repetition of running the same layout over and over again. Path of Exiles is the best in this group, but they've had a Decade to get there. They also have a bad new player experience being the starting zone and campaign is still mandatory to reach the core fun the game offers in its end game.
Having played D4 from early release it seemed okay. But our clan is getting bored with it. Our Clan Master said about Last Epoch and having seem several videos of it we are switching to LE. I think LE and PoE2 will kill D4 stone dead. Even an expansion won't save D4, not when PoE and LE will both be adding as well.
I know Diablo 4 gets a lot of hate, but personally, i don't think it gets enough.

i like set items not used as a leveling or grinding item but for cosmetics and collection and completing a set item gives me a sense of fulfilment every time i completed a set piece ❤
Diablo 4 doesn't need any assassins. It will kill itself.
"Let's look at our options. We can either do more damage with Fireball, or over here we can do more CRIT damage with fireball."
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
D4 SO BAD
HAHAHAHA FR
Diablo 4 is perhaps the most badly designed game of all time when you consider how much money and resources they had to create the game. Looks good. Combat is OK. Systems are all terrible.
and the instances in D4 are all Copy and Paste . This is so embarrassing!
D4 will be good in season 10 copium
spoiler: it won't
Now im considering getting Last Epoch.
@@CarnifaxMachineI haven't seen much of LE but if you have played POE are sets in LE like the farruls set
i love D2 sets. They are mostly for leveling and nobody cares in late game. There are some classes (sorc) that may pick up a 2/3/4-piece bonus, but most of the time you just equip other stuff. And for leveling its not even that the sets are overpowered, they are just good enough, so that you can run with them without having to worry about picking up upgrades along the way
I love how i get a d4 ad while watchign this
Diablo4 players should be embarrassed to even admit it.
LS don't even have 20000% damage buff in their tier sets LOL
I don't mind sets in ARPGs really, as long as they aren't so strong that they make doing anything else pointless once you have them.
Sets that change how a character plays, but not make them more powerful than a build used by non set items can be really interesting to work towards and be a fun reward for hunting everything down.
The 4 damage Diablo 4 druid is so painful , and so true 🤣
I absolutely love how the guy talks like Infographics Show, he even had a similar (if not the same) BGM lol.
Flyff bro was crazyyyy as a kid
diablo 4 is a fancy and beautifull box. But with nothing inside.
LE isnt that fancy, but has true content.
Diablo 4 devs have changed the glyphs to where you can't feel powerful anymore so...I don't really care about diablo 4 anymore
Dang what build is that Raxx is playing? Looks 🔥
The amount of D4 fan copium in these comments is so fucking funny omg💀
Oh boy, I already hate this game so much. I will buy it and play for hundreds of hours just to prove to the devs how much I hate it.
I'm a Diablo player and dude I got bored 4 months ago and never went back and already forgot that Diablo exists..
Blizzard is like a cheap company pleasing for money and acting like OnlyFans!
no 70 bucks...no AAAA game.
IDEA: "Rune of Fate" a 50/50 of either acting as a Rune of Shatter or giving the item +X Potential. (Only drops at like level 90+, or maybe a blessing that can make them drop)
D4 was fun but bad and it's gone ,all praise the Raise of LE 😊
There is so much trolling going on with these UA-camrs lol
"Is the a ladder for different classes" Like damn Quin... You should not worry about that since you will never get there. Unless you you can filter it to show from last ones first.
Ok I just bought Last Epoch to make the community more toxic
Billposter here I played on Kern server good times
Diablo 4 is just a cosmetic sales platform with a knockoff diablo addon created by the very company that owns the diablo IP
On the skill trees, i do have to say that the way D4 skill trees are setup it looks like they could easily expand the trees for skills. I would be mind blown if they don't do it with expansions eventhough i probably still wont play it.
Blizzard fail with diablo 3 and now fail with diablo 4 LOL 😂
Quin never pushed high corruption endgame monoliths where the bosses can present challenges for all but the most broken builds.
The chase is there.
at lease d4 is actually playable last epoch cant even play online and if you can its 5+ min to load changing areas
I think the lack of stash space in D4 happened because they didn’t think we’d keep any of the shit items we find.
D4 never gonna leave beta.
This game will be the Diablo killer untill po2 realse.
I guess you can't kill what's already dead
Bro season 3 was the diablo killer 😂
the only killer for diablo is blizzard.. Like they have been the past fucking decade
it doesn't need to be killed by anything. they are doing that them selfs already :P
If you can close an eye on the overall graphics and sound compartment, the game is a blast.
This is the Luke Skywalker of sarcasm
Lol, the one comment in Quin's chat from 'Xypha' regarding stash tabs "You actually don't need that many, you're a hoarder and have problems if you do."
Then later continues to say: "i'm yet to fill more then half my stash and played the first 2 seasons no problem." He's actually being serious and thinks he makes a legit argument.
Imagine being that stupid.
Also, for the set-enthusiasts out there:
Yes, set-items are a thing in LE but you will RARELY if ever find a single set item in any late-game builds.
D3 is still better and more fun than D4. D4 just has shitload of annoying things and devs telling us that annoying monsters and traps are fun.
They were planning on selling stash tabs but realised they would have been crucified 😂
TBH, I don't really want to keep and go through more than 250 items "just in case"...
yeah i gotta agree! there is no illusion of choice if there is no choice to begin with as seen on diablo
I felt like I overpaid for a demo game but that's my fault for buying Blizzard games for many years never again..
D4 is is so dead most its player base went back to play D3 S30
I was starting to feel bad for diablo 4 dev's, started to even think maybe it got better, I download it again, logged in, opened skill tree, played 5 min, opened skill tree a last time and I was like nah i'm out.
Nahhhh he did not bring up flyff....
Flyff is pure P2W "crafting" getting random stats or using P2W items to reroll only certain stats, upgrading is ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU INTERACT WITH THE CASH SHOP
Never ever return and play flyff again if you have nostalgia for it. Keep those pure memories intact.
He did mention that
the outro is sick
to be fair as a d3/4 casual i never fill stash tabs, and i played d3 for YEARS on and off, i just dont give a shit about items because power creep was so nuts on d3 that an item from 3 months ago was like 10% of the damage of a current one
The worst part about all this is that the devs for Diablo 4 will tweet that we, the customers, are the problem and that their game is amazing as it is.
sorry, could someone explain to me why is quinn not going to play Last Epoch on release?
They hate it because it has more content than the D4 Beta that was released at a $70+ price point.
quin says LE monolith of fates is bedge... Heist x 100 runs is fun? Mapping is...fun? Strand x 100 enjoyable? lol
And at the end he says he wont play it at launch...but he will,1000% within a few days. He'll see every streamer and all his arpg streamer friends playing and want to play it too. login. LE > POE
Hey, blizzard knows you hate them but they also know you will still buy their games.
Lol. PoE fans want every ARPG to become PoE.
2:20 is just classic 🤣😂🤣😂
Blizz beta testers aka fan base will hate it lol
Imagine running multi billionaire company and being outdone by a game for €35. 😆
Hope someone at the BLIZZARD MARKETING COMPANY sees this😂😂😂... oooppps... sorry... BLIZZARD GAMES I MEANT
5:08 QA played once with god modded items, not even picking up any loot.
how can quin tell the monolith system is not engaging? he didnt even play endgame yet. he havent done 1 single lvl 100 monolith boss. Classic 0/11 take
8:45 is what everyone wants but nobody admits they want it.
Look I pretty much grew up on Diablo1-2 and a bit of 3, and loved playing them when ever the hell I could. but I'm not delusional to think that D4's the best game in any degree. Pretty much any dev team that makes games like this can make a better game than blizzard now.
As a D4 enthusiast I FUCKING HATE LE!!!
I agree monoliths need work and a way to customize them more
Having played D4 from early release it seemed okay. But our clan is getting bored with it. Our Clan Master said about Last Epoch and having seem several videos of it we are switching to LE. I think LE and PoE2 will kill D4 stone dead. Even an expansion won't save D4, not when PoE and LE will both be adding as well.
