Cool little fish! Also thanks for investing your time, money and talents the way you do! You have provided a great fishing experience to share with people on your channel Nick👍🏼
Can we please acknowledge the lengths this man goes through for our entertainment? Help him out with some likes folks! Rough day on the equipment but a whole bunch of nice fish. Thanks for taking us, Nick!
Great video. So sorry about your camera. Mine have hit the water more than once but fortunately they all survived. You really caught some cool fish. If you ever make it to Tennessee look me up.
Been following you a long time. This is one of my favorites. If IPhone doesn't grab this they are missing out. Who needs a $3000 lense!? Beautiful shots!
Nick great day wow! Great cats,Dam just a great day thank you for bringing us along. So sorry to see what happened to the super camera. You bring us unbelievable photography Love it.
Nic what's up man... a nice crappie, a nice sunfish, 3 Channel Cats, a largemouth bass, and a big bowfin that's what I'm talking about. Yeah that Spillway is popping this go around. Great episode I loved it keep on getting down!
Love it when you come to my neck of the woods. This is an amazing spillway. Hate the hike back up though. Hope you took the service road down this time and didn't scale the cliffside. 🤣🤣🤣 Great video. Keep up the good work!! Tight lines!!
Great adventure sorry you broke some expensive camera equipment! A great video Nick lots of great catches and I see you catching plenty more this coming summer! Have a fun and safe weekend and see you next adventure!
Awesome Video! I really want to catch a Bowfin, you make it look easy. Sucks to hear about the Lens, but the Iphone footage still looked great. Keep up the great content
Great video! Given that you’re always around water, trees, slippery rocks, etc I’m actually surprised you don’t have more equipment issues. Keep up the good work!
Not every day a guy can catch so many different kinds of fish. I hope you recover from losing your equipment quickly! I for one enjoy your videos and would continue to watch even if you recorded on old Super 8mm film! Thanks for taking us with you!!
Nick! Long time viewer, first time commenting. Not sure who you work with for your insurance, but most homeowner companies have a "Personal Floater" endorsement for things such as cameras and jewelry. The premium is pennies on the dollar and usually has either no deductible or a $250 deductible. I sell it in Texas and grew up in the 618 area code. Love your videos and appreciate your efforts!
Nicely done Nick! I always look forward to your videos ...not tomorrow, but the day after, I'm heading to a spot where I've caught really nice channel cats ...my PB being 32" 15.5 lbs caught on Zebco 33 combo using a nightcrawler under a float ...that was a thrill! I hope to better it!
Can sympathise on the camera Nick. Back in the 90's, I had an epic fight with a decent Barbel on the River Kennett - Thought I had it beaten but it bolted at the net, pulling me forward. I had my mobile in the top pocket of my shirt, came straight out and in to the river. Back then, mobiles were mega expensive and this one disappeared in to deep water. On the plus side, I did get the fish in
Sorry about the camera man. Fishing aint cheap especially when you film it. Whats important is you enjoy it. Always love the vids you get a like before it even starts lol
In a lifetime of fishing, I don't hjave a single fishing picture or video. My wife gets mad at me for not taking a phone on the boat, but if I ever took a camera or phone near water, I might as well just throw it in the drink and then go home!
Thats kind of sad. No need to take a picture of everything you catch, but snap a couple. I love seeing old fishing pics. triggers memories of trips with friends and family.
Exactly this 👆🏼 I implore you to take your phone next time. You can replace a phone if it goes in the drink, you can't replace good memories and the stories that come with it
I take pics of almost every fish I catch … I also add captions to them with their size and what I used to catch them … my dad and brother do the same thing and even though we live hours apart we can all share our catches and what we were using … we only get to go fishing together a couple times a year so this is the next best thing …
Yesterday I went fly fishing on my local reservoir for bluegill. Caught a whole bunch, but not many big enough to keep. However….I got to see a few bald eagles! Kind of rare in this part of Georgia. And I’ve never seen one this close to home. The pics I took weren’t very good but you can tell it’s an eagle. But I will keep them for the cool memories. 🇺🇸🦅
Darn, saw you adjusting the tri pod over water and was thinking I hope he doesn't knock the whole thing over then I saw it release and fall in. Some tips from experience- Turn off camera immediately, rock camera back and forth to let water drain out but don't shake it, dry off outside of camera completely before opening the battery / memory card compartment to remove those components, remove your lens (face it down so any water doesn't drip into the camera body. After this you need to dry everything- place into a large container that can hold your camera and lens, something like Damp Rid or even just rice works great, seal the container and leave it alone. I would wait a few DAYS for this to do it's work, inspect and ensure all signs of water are gone and then it's just reassemble and pray it turns on. Do not try to turn your camera back on when it's still wet as you can only do more damage. Hopefully my pain can help someone save their equipment.
Commenting to help boost the video! I'm glad the gh5 is good and the sigma MAY be okay. Try replacing the speedbooster first. Might have messed with the connections. Please give us an update next video :) great catches as well!
Hey Nick try placing the camera and lens in some dry white rice that should absorb all the moisture overnight in a sealed container. Good luck i hope it helps...
I feel your pain, dropped Nikon Z camera while climbing out of the kayak , had a dry bag, just forgot to use it, expensive lesson. But keep these videos coming, very inspiring and fun to watch. M.
I've been following Nick for about a year. Now once a week, when I'm watching his latest upload and my my hears it, she says "You're watching Seeya later buddy."
I think I've commented on this before when your camera took a tumble, but man, invest in a decent tripod with a hook underneath it so you can weigh it down when it's windy. And an arca-swiss type ballhead and plate with a screw type fastening plate on top. I wouldn't trust even RRS clamps (let alone Manfrotto style square plate & head) in situations you put cameras in, but falling off of the ballhead mount isn't acceptable. Other than that, great fishing 😄
One camera, wasn't enough? You seriously had to, take out the backup too? In the year or so, I've been watching you. My current score board reads, like this...Broken nets; X2, Forgotten gear; X2 (net X1, camera X1), Trips/Slips/Falls; X9-10, Skunks X1-2, Lost Fish/Tackle/Gear; XUnfortunately it happens, Broken Cameras; X2 (seriously you couldn't stop with, one camera)🙂🙂🙂Thanks for keeping your, videos honest. You always show the, good and the bad. Hope to see, more of this spillway. Curious to know, where the water goes. Once it enters the, trees in the back corner. Great video, as always.
Thanks to you guys I now know that the last fish I caught was a Warmouth and not a rock bass! New species! I appreciate you all!
I caught a warmouth before in Florida
Cool little fish! Also thanks for investing your time, money and talents the way you do! You have provided a great fishing experience to share with people on your channel Nick👍🏼

Right on man!!!!!

It's Thursday bishes!! Got my cigar, whiskey, and 618 fishing. Life could be worse
Nick buddy, your channel is STILL the only fishing channel that I watch! Keep on keeping on brother!
Great video. So sorry about your camera. Mine have hit the water more than once but fortunately they all survived. You really caught some cool fish. If you ever make it to Tennessee look me up.
Nick, the Bob Ross of spillway fishing
Amazing Adventure Nick👊🏻
Greetings from Poland🇵🇱
I watch you all the way from Europe🇪🇺🙋🏼♂️
Thank you for another great video. I’ve lived in Illinois 15 years. 618 fishing is one this states gems
Awesome fishing. Sorry about the camera lens.
I appreciate the super thanks!
Producer, cameraman, star, editor? Don't beat yourself up on that fail, the quality vid you produce while wearing all those hats is amazing.
That spillway looked awesome, and those words, big fish never gets old
I get so excited when I see a new video! Love the content n love the calm and caring demeanor.
Amazing video as always. Best part of the week.
Sorry about the camera equipment loss but great video those were some beautiful catfish and a bowfin is on my bucket list
That spillway is absolutely beautiful. You caught some amazing fish
The fish you thought was a rock bass was a warmouth
Yep
Rock bass have red eyes
I came here to say the same thing. Rock bass have red eyes.
Not a warmouth for sure
@@k.h.1587 Warmouth eyes turn red during the mating season.
I’ve been watching these videos for years now and 618 is still my favorite youtuber!!! You never disappoint😊😊
Have to agree with you on that Mr. 618 fishing. That is probably the coolest looking spillway 🎣
Nicely done, Nick!
Cameras, shameras... you caught 7 species! What a great day on the water..
Thanks for the entertainment.
It's amazing with the variety of fish living in that spillway!!
Fun as always Nick. The classical string music is a great addition! Trout fishing is ramping up here in the North.
Been following you a long time. This is one of my favorites. If IPhone doesn't grab this they are missing out. Who needs a $3000 lense!? Beautiful shots!
Hello from South Africa🇿🇦
Love your videos
Keep up the good work
Glad to see you in my neck of the woods, I love that spillway, I have caught trout and yellow perch there.
Nick great day wow! Great cats,Dam just a great day thank you for bringing us along. So sorry to see what happened to the super camera. You bring us unbelievable photography Love it.
As a guy just getting into filmography, I’m so sorry for your loss 😢 thanks for making great content for all ages.
Nic what's up man... a nice crappie, a nice sunfish, 3 Channel Cats, a largemouth bass, and a big bowfin that's what I'm talking about. Yeah that Spillway is popping this go around. Great episode I loved it keep on getting down!
Nick takes his mistakes very well better than some, I have 2 phones in lake erie and 2 in the grand River nick is my hero😂

Love your videos Nick. Also love that I saw some beefcake jerky in your fishing bag. Need to have a collaboration with Flair some day!
another nice fishing adventure! Thanks Nick keep em coming!!
Beautiful place.. Nice video... That lake has nice size trout also.. Blue fox works wonders.. Devil's kitchen!!!
Awesome Video! I really want to catch a Bowfin, you make it look easy. Sucks to hear about the Lens, but the Iphone footage still looked great.
Keep up the great content
Funny thing is I fish probably 20-30 miles of that river, and only ever caught them in one little section.
Great video! Given that you’re always around water, trees, slippery rocks, etc I’m actually surprised you don’t have more equipment issues. Keep up the good work!

Great work even without the camera. Plus that location looks super cool with water flowing.

Nick 618 fishing……
Great catches those cats were plump, & that bowfin noice…😮❤
You should start posting more because when I see your videos it makes my day.
Yikes! Sorry about that lens. Felt your pain. Really nice spot and the waterfall over the wall made some amazing footage.
That is an awesome looking spillway, beautiful!!!!
Great time there in the water! Huge spillway makes for great scenery! Thanks! Bad luck about the camera. Gotta shrug it off. Stuff happens.
Nick!!!! Great video+ music choice is top notch as always.
That lil pflueger has at least 1000 lds under its belt they need to send you some stuff...

That channel catfish was perfect eater size, great catch 😂
What a wicked little eco system. Really enjoyed this one. So sorry about the camera.
hi Nick
Really enjoy your clips, a hint, always net your fish from the head as fish can't swim backwards :)
A successful, costly, but successful trip!
That sunfish was a Spotted Sunfish. Much rarer than bluegill. Also that "rock bass" was a warmouth.
Life lesson for all Bluegill out there. Don’t be the first bluegill Nick catches. It’s not ending well for you little buddy 🤣
Underrated Comment! 😂 I was like 💀see ya little buddy 💀🤣

You can get a cheap little digital camera and a small SD card for pictures. Then you don't have to worry too much if it does land in the drink!

Great brother❤❤🦈🦈
Geez baby! This trip was an expensive one!!!! Great catches though! Chubby boys!
I love you 😘
Haha yeah it was! thanks for watching honey I love you! 😘
What a tough job. Your really great at it. I pretend my shovel is a fishing pole occasionally. Thanks
Great fishing dude! Just lost my PB carp today, but this video made me feel better!
Great video. Good to see its still got fish in it
Nick you are AWESOME!! 🙏🤙❤️❤️❤️😃
That is hands down the coolest looking spillway!!!

Oof! $3000 sacrifice to the fishing gods! 😅 The fat belly on the catfish at 7:20 though! It must have just had a big meal!
Was pretty wild running into you and recognize you from 618Fish
Enjoyed the content Bro👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Sunglasses, on a rainy day. Love it!
Polarized fishing shades. Takes the glare off the water so you can see into the water. Crazy effective.
Hoping you hit the pond up soon and catch some giant bass! I know you love the cats though 😅
Losing a fish is equivalent to a small child losing a balloon
Even 618 has that beefcake jerkey 👍
3:10 mesmerizing
Commenting to help boost the video! I'm glad the gh5 is good and the sigma MAY be okay. Try replacing the speedbooster first. Might have messed with the connections. Please give us an update next video :) great catches as well!
Great vid dude, keep up the fishin trips''
Thanks! Easy on those cameras Friend 😮oops
These videos are so badass. Love your energy and enthusiasm
“Get the skunk off the board”😂😂
❤ love your channel ❤. Great cinema as always
That was a good fishing trip. Them channel catfish was very healthy maybe they just finished spawning? 👏👍😊
I finally know a place you are at. Very well actually. Happy to talk to you about some things in a DM.
I wish I could give you an extra 3K likes to help out.
The spillway bubbles always take me back to my Louisiana fishing days.
Thank you
Great video Nick
9:36 I seen the beefcake jerky in the bag
bro listened to the viewers and changed up the music thank u bro
That one has a cool slope to it.
Usually I see curved spillways
Epic location Nick. Superb fish. Bad luck with the camera. Best wishes from the UK.
Hey Nick try placing the camera and lens in some dry white rice that should absorb all the moisture overnight in a sealed container. Good luck i hope it helps...
You're like the fishing disaster man.
But hey, between the fish you catch and your antics, there great videos.😂
Nice one.
That's a beautiful spillway!
Awwww sorry about the lens and camera! Thanks for the awesome videos though!! Those were some chubby catfish!
Sorry to see that tripod fail. Put your trust in Manfrotto/Bogen. Great fishing, despite bad camera luck.
The camera lense! Besides that great day of fishing bud!
I feel your pain, dropped Nikon Z camera while climbing out of the kayak , had a dry bag, just forgot to use it, expensive lesson. But keep these videos coming, very inspiring and fun to watch. M.

I hope you have your camera gear insured. Great video.
It looked like you had a great time Nick.
Anyone else or anyone else's else's call crappies "paper mouth" lol
By Okeechobee Florida they call them specs but yes also paper mouth.
Yes I call them papermouths
Absolutely. Lost 2 earlier today because of their reputation

Stay strong Nick.
That was the Bluest Bluegill I've ever seen 😮
Spotted Sunfish
@@augustontheflynowhere in this video did he catch a spotted sunfish
