Have listened to the new vinyls from Tommy and Dennis. They did nothing for me . It is all borrowed from 1975-1980. I hear chords from P.Theater, G.Illusion and C Ball. A song that resembles Lorelai; another that sounds like Shooz. You're better off listening to the originals. They had wonderful energy back in the day-- and the production of Gary Loizzo (rest well Gary-- Styx not same without You)!
Deyoung gave Gary his job as engineer not producer against JY and Tommy's wishes. He only became part of the producing team after Deyoung was replaced. RIP Gary
Your comment makes no sense. Somgs with the same chords? Well I can name tons of music from other artists with the same chord progressions. Just listen to the originals? The songs still have different melodies and arrangements and of course different lyrics. smh
Wow he is so Italian. Reminds me of relatives here I'm western New York 😊
One suggestion, Doctor...Don't Let It End...you are the soundtrack to our lives!!!!
Great interview! As a huge DDY fan I feel so lucky to follow an artist that has released new material.
Great concept. "Don't suck"! ;-) Dennis, you have never sucked!
Great interview
I love Dennis DeYoung and STYX, have a few early vinyl on Wooden Nickel records…
Fantastic interview-probably the best Dennis interview about the new album I’ve seen. Thank you!
Great interview!
Dennis, don't stop writing/recording.
STYX is Dennis De Young. 🎸
Agree
🤣🤣🤣
After Kilroy Was Here who would want new music from this guy? Talk about going out with a Huge piece of CHEESE.
Nothing wrong with cheese 🧀. Almost everyone love some type of cheese.

I met Gary at a few shows in the 2000's. Always a nice guy. He is missed.
