Glad I came across this interview, as I will be seeing John Lodge in Poughkeepsie the end of July. Now that he has explained more about the show's format, I'm looking forward to it even more. What a class act, having nice things to say about all of his former bandmates. There is seemingly some bad blood with Justin Hayward, and a Blue Jays tour is unlikely, but John was gentleman enough not to get into that. Thanks, Ken and Q104.3. Too bad there have been relatively few views of this video.
This is really, really good. The best interview I have heard from a classic rock guy about how they created songs. Listen all the way through. You will learn a lot. I saw the Moody Blues three times. Saw John recently. He was fantastic. Saw Justin a month or so ago. He was also fantastic. If you get a chance to see either one make it happen.
I discovered the Moody Blues in 1972.I never stopped discovering this unique band and their solo music.

Great interview!! Just went to see The Blue World tour with Justin Hayward, great concert last night!!
Would be great for one last Blue Jays tour which with the two they might play larger venues. Rip Ray, Garame, and Mike.
Great Interview with John ... Respect
Great! Thank you! Regards from a Madrid Moody Bluer :)
