I actually found boon boost to be helpful against demi-fiend, twice during my fight I saw the atk/def debuff flickering so it lasted the entire time. The luster candies never lasted nearly as long tho. My anecdotal experience is that Demifiend's demons really you to be buffed but didn't dekunda nearly as much
If you have the Warrior's Conception and Prayer Miracles, when Cleo's component parts are up to 20 levels above their base level, she'll gain a lot of stat bonuses when fusing
@@bainz You mentioned leveling up Cleo's components parts (Titania, Lamia, Narcissus and Isis) up to 20 levels above their base level prior to fusion but how about the components to fusing Titania, Lamia, Narcissus and Isis? Do we level these components 20 levels above their base level prior to fusing Titania, Lamia, Narcissus and Isis to effectively get the best stats bonuses for Cleo eventually?
@@ken40539 I don't think it matters too much, as long as Cleo's own components are +20 levels, stats shouldn't be very different. But you could level them all just in case
Definetely one of the best support demons of the whole game! Having the Healing and Support affinities naturally maxed out alongside a -2 attack and defense debuff makes her a very worth DLC demon Really hoping to see more builds,and maybe a Loup Garou and Aitvaras build too 😅❤
She's honestly so good, especially considering her enhanced survivability due to all her resistances. It's so easy to make her resist or null everything but almighty
Yeah, that looks like it's probably the best demon. It's easy to get great skills on any demon in SMT V, so the main variables are the unique skills, affinities, and skill potentials. Covering affinities with 2 skill slots while having a top-tier unique skill and skill potential for it + support/healing is pretty hard to beat. In contrast, I dumped a bunch of stat boosting items into Alice who is pretty great, but for late game potential she was lacking the elemental resists, skill potentials for buffs/debuffs/heals, and her unique skill drops off late game due to dark resists being more prevalent.
Cleo might be better as support by replacing ice age and high ice pleroma with Mediarahan/Luster Candy and Boon Boost EX, Gabriel is already a very good ice demon.
You want another demon to be buffing (otherwise too much MP costs and it could take multiple turns to set up). For example, Idun using Golden Apple. Ice Age/Pleroma are mainly for the Demi-Fiend fight, you need a consistent damage option to kill his summoned demons. Plus, Ice damage is good bc Shiva is weak to it. Similarly, Dekaja/Dekunda are used so often in the Demi-Fiend fight, Boon Boost EX never actually does anything. I probably should have mentioned, when I say endgame build, I’m thinking how good it is vs Demi-Fiend/Shiva, bc those are the fights where build matters most
@@bainz What I found from my many attempts against Demifiend was that Dekunda at least generally won't be used if not everyone is debuffed on his team (i.e 3/4 members of his team) and this actually works nicely in the fact that provided you kill one of his demons, during that same turn you use Frolic, they won't bother to dispel the debuffs unless the new demon he summons also gets debuffed. Boon Boost EX can find some use at least in the fact that you have to kill a demon of his every few turns anyways otherwise you get hit with the ol' Gaea Rage so keeping Demifiend debuffed through all that can make life a bit easier for both damaging him and killing another demon as well as taking less damage in general. Boon Boost EX allows the debuffs to persist long enough for you to at least kill the new summon and the next summon before needing to reapply Frolic which saves MP through this long fight and in turn keeps Demifiend hopefully eternally debuffed lol. Of course you lay down another Frolic when needed specifically the same turn you killed a demon (i.e. Demifiend is one demon down) such that this behaviour will persist.

I have had her the whole game and put some of my incense and such into her, but her stats are not even close to as high as yours. Wonder if re-fusing from scratch would actually get me higher stats.
Yea, re-fusing with all the Warrior's Conception/Prayer bonuses can raise a demons stats by a lot. I have used some incenses on her, I think she had 140 magic and 100 luck when fused
Awesome build but i've got a question (currently on my first SMT 5 playthrough): Won't Demi-Fiend just use Gaea Rage and the others if u null elementals and physical?
Obviously it would be nuts to make videos of these for every persona (love that you covered a mid and late game build), but I love my female party members (or demons in this case). If you're doing many more of these, I would love it if you make these for all the different female demons in the game. Or at least all the best ones (given that you've done Idun and Cleo so far, that's a great start, need at least one more for a full team with the Nahobino at least....).
You need to get the miracles that give extra stats by leveling and more exp with fusion. When you fuse higher tier demons that leveled up to get lower tier ones you transfer some stats and level. The rest is keep raising her and eventually she will break the 100 limit.
Stats level ups are not fixed and are random everytime a demon levels up. With that. You can reset everytime she doesn’t have an ideal level up, and just save once she got a good level up. Mine’s at 159 magic.
