Your reviews are my favorite. No nonsense. Just the important stuff (and all of it). I watched several other videos that didn't even mention its compatibility with Maxi-Cosi/Nuna adapters. That's a huge thing! We still have a Doona from our first kid, but this seems like a no brainer for other folks just starting out.

Quick question.. I’m pregnant with my first and trying to understand all these strollers/adapters. We’re getting the DuelRide Shyft. Is there only one type of Maxi-Cosi/Nuna adapter?
All I’m trying to do is find the stroller(s) that the DuelRide Shyft car seat will fit in and which exact adapters.

@@Marlee_GI have the same question! I reached out to Evenflo and they said it’s not compatible with any of their own strollers. Is there some kind of adapter I could put onto one of the Evenflo strollers? We are looking at getting the dualshyft for the car seat, but also getting the Evenflo Xpand stroller by them so it would be nice if we could make them connect.
I live in the Midwest where on the average winter day we could easily have a foot of snow. I can see this being super helpful when wanting to just carry the car seat in.

Thank you for this review! It justifies all my reasons why this will make our lives easier. Also, so very happy that it's compatible with our Maxi Cosi stroller, which has a perfect sized basket for shopping.
Is there a specific adapter to connect this to the UPPAbaby stroller? My plan is to get an UPPAbaby Vista and this would be an excellent pair of there's an adapter.

I bought the Doona for my 1st baby and I was in love with it, but I did have the problem where he was getting too heavy so I sold it (not planning on having another baby for a few years) and I recently found out I’m having baby #2 and I just realized me being “in love” with the Doona was just “puppy love” 😅 i have found my true love and I am definitely going to purchase this one for this baby!

I just purchased this stroller and I was scared I made the wrong choice because it’s still new and there’s not many reviews on it quite yet but this definitely reassured me I made the right decision. I wanted the Doona forever, but my sister-in-law has it and she has a lot of cons especially grocery shopping. I really appreciate this video. I’m very happy with my purchase now. Thank you! I have the evenflo stroller and it’s extremely heavy and my baby is still a newborn. I can only imagine how more difficult it will be as she grows more

Omg I'm so sorry I bought a Doona with this available it would solve literally all my Doona problems. My daughter is almost five months so I'm not buying another infant carrier/carseat right now that would be a waste, but I wish I had this instead.

How much does the car seat weigh without the strollers part?
Do you feel like the car seat is not at the right level when attached to the vista? It really tipped the car seat forward when I attached it to my vista with the adaptors

Does it fit on the Evenflo pivot expand which is literally their double stroller? I message Evenflo and they said they have not tested it on any other stroller so they don’t approve, but it would be nice to know if it fits??

Is there a way to remove the car seat from the wheel base once extended into stroller mode ? I can't lift both the wheels and the seat together - I'd rather use the car seat and attach the wheels as a option to help with my back issues .. I want to use the wheels with the base but I can't lift it .. this was gifted to me at my baby shower .. and the host wasn't sure if it could detach from the wheels ??

I can't get the carrier without the wheels on its locked in
I’m not sure if I’m imagining it because I have nervous energy cause my first is coming a few weeks, but I got the Evenflo Shyft and wanted to use it with the Cruz V2 (with the adapters), but I feel like the car seat tilts forward ever so slightly in a way that may not be the most comfortable. I plan on asking the discharge nurse or the pediatrician if the angle of the seat is problematic.
I’ve scoured the internet and this is the only video that shows that the Shyft is compatible with other strollers at all, so, I don’t think enough people have tried it to either confirm or deny my experience.
@@JasonJ-16 agreed 100% and I agree asking someone with a pediatric medical background would be a very wise option. Head tilt is absolutely something to consider so I definitely would ask and applaud you for caring and checking for your kiddo.

Omg. My mouth dropped!!!! This was amazing! I just have two questions.
1. I saw there was one called Syft GOLD, what’s the difference between the Dualride and Dualride GOLD?
2. I screamed when I saw it can attach to other strollers since we will also be getting a double stroller and when you said UPPAbaby, I need confirmation lol can I attach it to an UPPAbaby Vista V2? Thanks in advance!
Ok so the one I have in the video is the GOLD which has an understorage bag (I didn't show that because you'd have to remove it to take it on and off the base and not super useful to me when I am demonstrating it, and then it also has a buckle on the chest clip called SENSORSAFE. This can be connected to an app on your phone to alert you to things like accidentally leaving the baby in the car etc. If you go cheaper then those fancier features are not on the model but the overall functionality is the same. AND YES 100% CLICKS ONTO THE VISTA with MAXI COSI adapters :D enjoy!
Which attachment would you suggest for attaching the car seat to the og veer!? If I can attach it to my veer then I’m sold!

Are you able to take the wheel part off the base and connect the car seat and wheels separately? So that you still have a car seat and stroller?
I think I am slightly confused but I will do my best to answer this. The seat can be just a lightweight seat, or the car seat with the wheels. You can't use the lightweight car seat on the base without the wheels being left on the base. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. Thanks!
Is the car seat also adaptable to cybex gazelle ?? The attachment is not extended like the uppababy
This car seat will work on the Cybex Gazelle with the included adapters that game with the stroller.

What is the weight of the infant car seat when separated from the wheels?
Roughly 8 pounds. It's pretty light without the wheels.
How tall are you? I am trying to see how far the handles will work for me
I am 5 feet five inches. The handle is 3.5 inches longer than the Doona handle height is 38 inches and this one is 41.5 at it's tallest.
Will this attach to a mockingbird stroller?
Probably with the Maxi Cosi adapters. I have not tried it but it is fitting onto the Maxi Cosi adapters for ever other brand that I have tried it on. Great question and thanks for watching :)

Everybody complaining about it being heavy so I’m nervous
So this is totally reasonable concern and it is heavy. The Doona is 17 pounds with no kid in it cause the wheels are always on it. But like currently i am obsessed with this little city loop cause it's cheaper than doona or evenflo and better quality and makes more sense for what I would want if I were a new parent. The weight doesn’t really matter though…because there is not really ever a reason to need to carry the car seat when the wheels are attached to it. I only have had to hold it to go up an escalator.
Glad to hear the extra weight doesn't matter to you however, most customers care a GREAT DEAL about the weight of the infant seat. The Nuna Pipa Lite RX is the most popular seat I sell because it is 8 ounces lighter than the Pipa RX which is $150 cheaper and nearly identical. So again it's cool that this doesn't matter to you but it does matter a great deal to most other consumers. So much so that brands are designing car seats that are lighter and lighter because that is what people want. Again glad you like what you have but it's nice for people that don't want those additional pounds to not have to lift them from the ground into an SUV.
I love that the wheels come off so I dont have to carry the extra weight up to my third level townhome.
