I’m obsessed with your channel. Finally someone who mentions the choking hazard of eating while driving and the projectile hazards of anything untethered
The pop up laundry hamper I think will be the solution to my main problem which is bringing in all the junk at the end of the day for the kid and myself. I haven’t seen anyone else have a solution to that so thank you!😊
Great ideas! The car accident is no joke when something heavy , made of metal and tools to hit you. It is a difference of you leaving the accident without items contributing from a minor accident to a serious accident
I love this so much! The Resqme tool is so great! I give them as gifts! But on the visor, it could become a danger to your head and scalp in the event of a big crash. My bestie is an EMT and came up on an accident where a person was in SERIOUS medical need because his sunglasses holder had tore him open. Please reconsider if that’s the best place for the things. Much love!
thank you for sharing. I suggest at @3:16 that you add some box underneath the plastic organizer for easy access - since you are not going to put anything on top of it - there is no use for it to be so far down there that box of course can be used for - not-frequently-needed items - but the point is to make the organizer easier to reach
Unfortunately I had real life experience about two months ago with projectiles. I was very lucky though, my kids were not with me and as far as I know nothing hit me. I hydroplaned, slide into a ditch and rolled my SUV. Made me think seriously afterwards about all the stuff I had in my vehicle. So much flew around and even was ejected from the vehicle including my cell phone, my laptop, my very large metal cup and so much more. This is the first video mentioning a soft cup though that I've watched. Also just an FYI, when I rolled everything in my visor flew off, however the things in my center console and glove box stayed put so that rescue tool might be better off in the center console.
I thought this would be one of those excessively expensive and aesthetic overconsumption videos that are never relatable, but wow! I’m so disappointed in myself for judging the book by its cover, this was so helpful!!!
As a cop’s wife and mom, putting your info that you need if you get pulled over, is better kept on your visor. They can see your hands the entire time, instead of wondering what you’re grabbing as you’re busying yourself in the glovebox. 😊
Bigger things are often less of an issue, but it depends on the vehicle. In many cases, a stroller will be too big to get from the cargo area to the seats in front of it in a crash. But you can always get a cargo net to use back there and be sure the stroller stays in the back during a crash.
Can I call you Safety Girl? It’s refreshing hearing someone else talk about stuff ( storage, containers, cleaning etc) in regards to safety. My family keeps looking at me like I’ve lost my mind…until someone gets a finger smooshed in the wrong side of a closing door…after telling them to be careful about it. Thankyou :)
You spoke briefly about the gray colored bags hanging in the cargo area. I didn’t see them in any of the links. Do you have a link that you could share?
Loved your systems! If I may offer one suggestion: having music playing in the background is very distracting and competes for the viewer's attention against the info you're imparting through talking. I would get rid of all background music and everyone will focus 100% on you and your message.
That's terrible! What vehicle is that anyway? I can't remember the last time I saw a vehicle without a center console other than a truck. But to be fair that's not usually the part of the vehicle I'm paying attention to when showing parents how to do car seats lol

Thanks for being here!
The little cubby in the armrest space is a great idea.
It's nice to have!
Oh wow, that's actually a very nice way to organize. I have emergency snacks in my car too..but for myself😂
Me too!
Too cute. Hee hee

Very true! Thanks for watching!
Best car organization video I've watched!! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!

You make a really good point. I hadn't thought of that!

I hope you are ok after that! That would be so frightening.
Awesome video. The links were extra helpful and I’ve subscribed
Thanks for watching and subscribing!

I'm happy you found something helpful in the video! I try to just do whatever I like to use myself!
Right! This is was so much more relatable lol
I have to ask... what model vehicle do you have? That is the largest center console I have ever seen! Love it!
Jeep Wagoneer
@@safeintheseat Ah.. ok.. thanks. I had a Cherokee, not nearly the same size, lol.
This was great! Thankx😊
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the tip!
Great advice
If you have a open cargo area like in a van or suv is there aa safe way to store a stroller so it doesn't fly around in a crash?
Bigger things are often less of an issue, but it depends on the vehicle. In many cases, a stroller will be too big to get from the cargo area to the seats in front of it in a crash. But you can always get a cargo net to use back there and be sure the stroller stays in the back during a crash.
You can also use bungee cords with carabeener clips (instead of just the hooks) that you can attach to any of the cargo anchor points

Sure, why not? lol Thanks for watching!
I ask for a cup carrier when we get fast food. I use the compartments for the food and drink. Bonus - whole thing is disposable!
That's a good idea too!
How do you keep your advil from getting too hot while in your car console?
I haven't had a problem with it getting too hot
me with my 2016 Citroen C3 looking at this mega car. yh i dont get half the storage
The storage in this vehicle is amazing!

Absolutely! Here it is: amzn.to/3Py5cvC
You should have a first aid kit with kids. Bandaids
Definitely!
I couldn’t find the soft sided cup in your Amazon store
It's a small brand so we may have helped them sell a lot of them out lol but here is a link to some I found in stock: amzn.to/3sdud5E
Do you have to totally unpack to be able to carry groceries??
No, if I had to do that, I would never keep this stuff in my car.
@@safeintheseat 🤣 I’m not American so, to me, that’s not a car, it’s a tank🤣

Noted!
I didn't even notice that there was a soundtrack in the background.
Links aren't working for me!
Try now! (And thanks for letting us know!)
I come from an era where cars didn't have seatbelts and paper towels hadn't been invented, boy have things changed
And we are glad for many of the inventions that we have now!
@@safeintheseat for sure. Life is safer and more fun.
Is this Kia?
It's a Jeep
So jealous my car doesn’t have a center console just an arm rest
