huge missing pro for the evenflo is the fact that you can detach the carrier from the wheels.

True! I should have mentioned that! But like I had said in the video, this wasn't comprehensive! I was just looking for very specific things for MY baby. For me, the wheels detaching was not really a big selling point 🤷 I live in a one story house with no steps going up to it, so it’s always in stroller mode, except when it’s actually in the car.

Why would you want the wheels to detach?

@@thechef8660 would be several scenarios where that’d be more convenient. like going to target or another store and you want to be able to put the car seat in the cart. if baby is sleeping in the car seat and you have to carry it up some stairs it would be significantly lighter without the wheels, etc.

Beautiful baby you have 😊 He was born exactly a month before my son. Wish I had invested in one of those carseat strollers. Just so expensive especially when this is gonna be my last baby for real this time lol

The chest clip on the evenflo alerts your phone if undone

You would have to put an entirely new chest clip on the car seat. Which you "can" do, but it isn't recommended because it's not crash tested with whatever chest clip you put on, thus possibly compromising the safety of the carseat in a crash. I wasn't comfortable doing that.

hi there.. thank you for your time fır this informative video.. i have a quick questions..
1- can you take of the wheels of evenflo when you are not near the base?
2- since evenflo is more reclining in stroller mode, do you think you can keep the baby in stroller mode for like 2 hours?
tahnk you in advance. have a nice day.

Yes you can take the wheels off without the base. And I think how long you keep the baby in the car seat depends on your comfort level and if the baby’s happy. There have been times where all three of my kids have spent more than 2 hours in a car seat. If they’re happy and I’m running by errands or something, why not?! I’m not sure if or what the a current AAP guidelines are on that.
