- The Road Runner made the Coyote look stupid in cartoon land. How will Barry and the team go with their SMC version?
This no-frills speedster was a favorite with moonshiners; it could outrun any police car. Barry doesn't plan to break the law, but he sure wants to break the rules.
Helping him are some more guys from O'Reilly (Tim Porter and Scott Jensen) and MOPAR guru Ronnie Jenkins. It's the A-team turning this ugly duckling into a swaggering swan.
And Barry has another auction brainstorm: "Sell it on the internet!" Barry's entrepreneurial spirit is ignited by his DIY auction, now he's putting his next creation online, hoping to flush out buyers from absolutely everywhere.
Bidders can watch the build progress on Barry's website as they contemplate how much they think it's worth. What's more the last two days of auction will be watched at SEMA, by Barry, his team and thousands of SEMA visitors who have a chance to bid themselves through computers at the TURBO stand. A big screen projector and loud auctioneer calling the online action will be a SEMA showstopper.
Then it's out to the SEMA skid pan to smoke up the Road Runner before adoring fans.
Ron reminds me of a little bit of Fabio and big part of Sam Eliott. Greatest respect for Ron and the knowledge that he gives to the power he loves. Forever MOPAR.. PEACE CAM.
69 Hemi Roadrunner is my favorite car of all time . So beautiful well done , great job fellows
I would have went as high as 100 grand if I had to , to get that Roadrunner .
I would have bought that first Road Runner. That Orange Road Runner
Look Dumb ASS. FOR ONE. LOOK AT THE GRILL. LOOK AT THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS. IT IS NOT A 1969. IT IS A PLANE JANE FACTORY 1968 PLYMOUTH SATELLITE ONLY.
Read very closely. You think you know your Mopars huh.
Try it's a 1968 Road Runner
Not a 1969. Look up the rear tail lights & grill. There's a big big difference in 1968 & 1969 Road Runner, Satellite style
Dumb ASS
GEEZ!... She's a Really Beautiful Machine. The Right Parts and the Right People. Thanks for Sharing
Ron seems like a really clever passionate guy. Enjoy seeing him in these few episodes
He is and he still pops up on the show Grave Yard Cars which focus on the restoration of classic MOPAR muscle!
He is and he's been on many other shows. He most recently was on the show Graveyard Car's and installed one his trick suspensions on a car.
Awesome rebuild on the Road Runner loved the blue solid paint job and the wheels really sets the build back to the day of factory birth. Really a beautiful job. SEMPER FIDELIS
Nothing beats the buyer's first few reaction to the roadrunner
The engine was a nice addition to this machine 👌
I’ve got a numbers matching 69’ 383 hard top 4spd Road Runner in Rallye Green. She is my baby... but I’d sure love a 440. You always want more than you have 🤣
I have a 440 Six Pack. With a Pistol Grip 4 Speed. And a Dana Rear end. & a 1969 Road Runner 426 Hemi with a Pistol Grib 4 speed and Dana Rear End. I'm selling both.
Both have less then 98,000 miles. Selling both for $18,000.00. Will Ship anywhere in the USA FOR FREE
Beautiful chevy eater, that's one badass Mopar rig.....
Perfection!!!!!!
They should give Ron his own show, most knowledgeable guy in the series.
i seen Ron on grave yard cars few times to..
Ron has his own shop
Ron is also a ripoff and doesnt stand behind his products.
No he is not.
Its a fucking episode script he reads. Its a TV Show. Nothing more, he does not know shit about cars
@@c3dweston oh really. Hummmm.
Prove that statement. I've goggled it. There is no such person. He's as with this TV show. All bull shit fakes
He doesn’t make a lot Of money but he brings cool cars back to life that’s awesome.
Yeah, I'm one of those "hardcore" Mopar fans. I've had a couple of old Dodges and Plymouths over the last 55 years or so. We routinely beat supposedly fast Camaros and Mustangs. That '69 Charger was a nice car and I like this Roadrunner. I liked the '68 Satellite with the 426. That was a fast car. I would like to own a GTX.
Once the new trunk floor was welded in, I would have coated the whole floor with POR 15 to make sure it didn't rerust again.
I'm sure they did just not on camera
Hummm.
Last time I check dumb ass, the Show wasn't called by your stupid ass now is it. Moron tool you
@@jayjohnson4843 WOW, somebody's is on the rag...
This car came out beautiful nice job guys 👌
This was a 1968 and that sold it as a 1969. Fenders, rear quarters, tail lights, doors were all 1968. Cute that they put a 1969 front Grille in though.
Ron was recently on the show Graveyard Cars and the guy is still making bad ass MOPAR parts
18:34 472 Mopar Hemi Engine
39:44 Before and After 1969 Plymouth Sattellite Road Runner
41:50 Sema Auto Show
Give me the old dash any day it part of the memories of these old cars. To me you never touch the dash.
Amen Bother
I have always been a big follower of the properly built, 383 mag in front of the right 4-speed and posi- trac!!!
saving these old bad ass car ..is a gift by god
God had nothing to do with cars Dumb ASS.
I had a '70 Roadrunner.....wish I'd never sold it. This car is for a rich primadonna who doesn't even change his own oil. I've been maintaining, building, modifying and racing for 70 years. With a 440 and 3 dueces, I found that it was better on the street than the 426 Hemi Hemis are wonderful race engines but difficult to tune for the street with original carbs/linkage. I used to tune multiple carb engines on Ford, Mopar, Chevy, Jaguar, etd.....all the carbs American and Webers, Del Ortos, SU's , you name it. Yup, I'd love to have the RR but would go to well-managed fuel injection system...as long as we're obviously not doing original here.
16:59 that’s B5 Blue for you. I painted my 71 SE B5, and blotches everywhere. It’s just a hard color to get to lay down.
Yeah DUMB ASS. WE ALL SAW WHAT YOU WROTE BEFORE.
STUPID DUMB ASS
@@jayjohnson4843 pardon? *Edit: I see someone else commented the same thing word for word. No need to get heated. As for not knowing how to paint, you're kinda right. I'm just a teenager and it was my first paint job. There's always room for improvement. Take care my friend!
I wish that "Wrecks to Riches" was still in production. Every car build is a learning experience without the reality show production stunts that get in the way on so many reality car shows on Motor Trend and Discovery.
Most people miss what they are doing on here. Great point.
Over Haulin Was Tbe Best. This comes down to 99 in my books. Over Haulin never had the Bull Shit Drama this Show Had. No one Blamed anyone if parts were hard to find. Chip would just make the parts if need to.
Nice work guys....love the old Mopars!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for Subscribing
I just dont get the PAINT IT BEFORE ITS READY. Grinding and welding on a fresh paint job. Never mock anything up before paint. Well I guess thats why they have to redo stuff. I wont do a rush job at my shop.
I ager they are bum ass's
Ronis definitely the premiere Mopar guy n has one badass Daytona
His Daytona or if he calls it a super bird is not a true one. Its a damn clone. Not even what you say it is. I know because I've got both superbird and a Daytona in my garage
you cannot buff light and dark spots out of paint when you have clear on it, you have to redo it
Good Job,like it very mutch, this Blue is so cool,my favorite Colour! Best wishes&Greetings from Germany!
Numbers matching, no, clone car. I love it.
I had on when I was 16 Years old. 318 bored 20 over. Fast car with a light ass end. It would smoke the tires as long as you wanted to hold it down.
More muscle than a Hollywood gym!!! Haha epic
And I love my 68 pro street roadrunner
By
Should have watched more, I like the Ron wigs .
i have a 86 hyundai excel. 0-60 in 1hr!! top that.
nigel mahabir u think,?

Top that images.hgmsites.net/med/image_100361979_m.jpg
hahahahahahahahahaha wow thats awesome
1969 Road Runner,Satellite and GTX all the same car except motor size. I owned one. Nice real Nice.
MOPAR = More Outrageous Power At Redline !!!
Omg imagine having a daughter and she looks like you. I’d cry if my daughter looked like me
Sweet Car. I had three 68 one
Road Runner. 383 4 speed. But
This is the Bad Ass. Hemi.
I always liked these cars because only they remained super powerful beautiful high quality cars and legendary and when I see a legend I put likes in spite of Madeleine and the year of release
Narrator, in a concerned voice: After three days, there have been no bids. Daughter, with excitement immediately after: We already have a bid!
mam362 lol - if you watch all these shows carefully, they don't follow build chronology. It's all just pieced together to make a good reality show! They are fun to watch, though!
M.O.P.A.R. =Massively Over Priced And Rusted!!!!
ok something 45 years old now rust haha really and 20$ for a fuel pump vs what ever your paying for a mac
It's not a 69, but a 68 body with 69 grille. It's not a big thin; unless you're talking to a Mopar fanatic. I could be in that class
And for a 69 car those are damned sure 68 tail lights.
Luckily they sold the car to a know nothing rich guy, with more money than brains.
I sold my 69 Road Runner 440 ci, 4 speed, original for 5000.00 back i the day. Nobody wanted them.
I would buy that car in a heartbeat.
Why no passenger side mirror? Skimping on parts? LOL!!!!!!
+Robert Walters why the fuck do you need side mirrors on a 700hp car ?
+Marto Rambo Up until like 10 or so years ago. A passenger door mirror was an option...
Back then, the law required a mirror on the driver side only.. Passenger side mirrors were a factory option. Meaning back then, at the dealership when you ordered t your car, if you didnt check the box that said 'passenger mirror' when your car showed up, it wouldnt have one..
You’re Novice
I wonder why shows like this always refer to Dodges as "Dodges"....but when it's a PLYMOUTH. they NEVER use the "Plymouth" name ...only Mopar...like the "Plymouth" name is a bad word, or something....(even though they're BOTH Mopars, the DODGE name seems to get more respect...especially when there was once a time that PLYMOUTH OUTSOLD DODGE each and EVERY year !!!)
and why Plymouth isn't in business anymore .
rs is a gtx rp is a sport sattelite which is the water downed gtx. rh was a sattelite and a rm is a road runner and the sattelite is the water downed road runner. 21 was a coupe or post or sedan and 23 was the hard top and 27 was a rag top.
Awesome.
tribute to Ron Jenkins
Nice blue.
I can’t believe they cheaped out on the paint. Lots of parts weren’t properly painted on the inside, like the fenders and the doors, but then they want at least 65 large ones for that?! Ridiculous!
Shouldve kept the aluminum slots!
If Ron doesn't find the bolt for the glove box in the next 2 hrs California will sink into the pacific ocean.
I'd laugh my fucking ass off if that bidder decided not to buy it.
It’s not a Satellite in this episode the satellite one converted to a fake GTX lol 😂
another rerun
Motor is worth more then entire car.
Yea, but you’re still in the hole when you add the man hours!
Came out nice though.
i know a wrecking yard that makes this place suck all mopar early 70 to early 60 all in good shape they have all the mopars thet got about 5 gtx a bunch of the 383 cuda even the 64 with the stripe on one side over the top i got a 71 340 duster running and driving with no rust for 600 bucks with a clean body i could not walk a way from it at that price and they are one right after another and they had a 68 rt charger 440 for sell running and driving out front of yard for 2500 with a good body no rust i just did not have that much money to spend yet it is open to the public but know one knows about it it is way out in the woods and they don't advertise i learned about from my friend that lives by it
First blue car he's sold since season one. 😂The other blue cars didn't sell.
That other Blue car was a Fake GTO
Absolutely gorgeous ride ruined again by the ghetto rims.
I've got a 1973 vega with no interior no motor and actually no body panels.i need it next week.how much!
The earliest I put in a bid is 9th day!
hurry hurry hurry, drama drama drama.right in there with boyds garage.
20:22 ITS Alive!
24:54
SHe drove a Plymouth Satellite.... Faster than the speed of light.
Your a Dumb ASS
Another blue SMC? The previous 2 blue SMC's did sell.
1971 Pontiac GTO & 1971 Ford Torino Coupe
B 5 blue has pearl in it if you're not very good at laying down pearl that's what happens
69 front 68 rear glad I didn't look at it but it was nice
Pretty car
someone forgot to check lights. rt backup light inop going on trailer. as usual haste makes waste
Speedo in my GTX went to 16... wimpy 120 thingy
STUPID ASS
Ebay has a Item Not As Described - return money guarantee policy. just sayin,,, For me this slap together just don`t cut it, I`d rather take my chances on Ron`s Super Bee.
rode racer was 383..... GTX was 440
tony oughtta quit cryin and huffin over the trunk lid, just pull it off and repaint it, whats the big deal getting all depressed?
cost money
Yeah, 700Š to repaint, so he's depressed he has to work a little for once :-P
Lucas Schnock 700 pesos Maybe
Allen Brown Maybe in the US of New Mexico but the 700$ look like realistic for Belgium, in Europa, I only know about the Balkans where it's pretty cheap with great paint results.
Great!!! //Lars
The Orange & Black Road Runner was 100 % Better off then that Junk ASS Road Runner ever was
The Buyer got 10% off I hope for burnt rubber ........lol
I didn't see the bird 😂
What color code is the car?
Can't believe he only said bitching once!
That's one sharp bird, by the way those rims set it off.
43:20
That road runner should have been Orange, Yellow or black.
I’d love to work for this guy
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for Subscribing
And your a STUPID DUMB ASS TOO.
CHIP WOUKD BE A BETTER TEACHER IN BUILDING ANY STREET ROD's. Not Berry THE SCAMER
dont yourrll know that when u auction like that online with the reserve then ppl stick close to that number but maybe the excitement of the full restoration first sight well guess we will know soon.. lol nvm ffwd this
I skip right to the auction and skip all the fake drama!
Perfection!!!!!!
The taillights say it’s a 68, not a 69 .
Barry's daughter is so cute!!
Minus 15 points for ebay and pay pal
Don't worry about Barry. He can afford it.
700 to paint a panel
..
Yeah. Thats from a rip off painters said price. No one would have his old fart ass paint a toy car.
Move over plymouth approaching rapidly
Beautiful car except for using 1968 tail lights in a 1969. That was a bad decision. Everything else is great.
It’s a 68 car with a 69 grille
My dad is selling his 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite for a great price.
it's a 68 sport sattelite not a rr a sport sattelite was a water downed gtx
It has a hemi, a restomod and it's also a Barry White SMC creation. You say "watered down", I say that's really a stupid thing to say.
Ron let go of my ears. I know what I'm doing.
did you pic's of all the dam bond you used.
Cant be both
