- Do you aspire to be an HR professional? Do you know what it takes to be one? Recently, we saw a lot of interest around HR on our platform. To cater to this rising interest, we decided to have a chat with a true blue HR professional, Harshita Chaudhary, SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). Harshita has close to a decade of experience in the HR function, having worked with big names like Mondelez (then Cadbury), Nestle, Colgate Palmolive and Honeywell. Currently, she works at Freshworks as Senior Manager OD & Talent.
Coming from a family of professionals, she got into TISS, where she found her inclination for HR. There, she further developed the skills and qualities needed to be a successful HR professional. From TISS, she got into Cadbury (later Mondelez) in a Sales HR role. From there, she moved to Colgate Palmolive in the Chennai Metro, where she faced a whole new challenge of language barrier. She talks of the skills and qualities required to thrive in such a position. With Colgate, she even held a factory role, telling us in detail how professionals in the FMCG sector can benefit from such a role.
This is Part 1 of Harshita's full interview.

This book is a unique book for the company HR process with amazing &
real life examples and scientific formulas. It has been told in this book that
any great organization is built on great people. In this book, a new
relationship, in between human energy and currency, is established through the
scientist Albert Einstein's formula -E = MC², which has been named 'Hemant
Principle'. Through this principle, human energy can be converted into
currency. And the poverty of society or country can be reduced or removed. Through this book, any person can be transformed into a human or a superhuman.
