What an amazing transformation ! It takes an experienced eye like yours to see the possibility in such a raw yamadori and talented hands to change it into a tree worthy of the word 'bonsai'.
Incredible transformation + styling. I lold at the before pictures and thought to myself: "Thats an atrocity" You guys did an amazing job lol. I wouldnt have even attempted!
Well I thought the original tree had a lot of character and actually liked it for what it was, I did not expect to be so impressed with the final transformation.
@@Torabonsaischool Thank you! Great result indeed! I should have a try I guess ^^ a bit worried to crack the tree even under the raffia and that it would kill the branch tho
great trees but it really doesn't need that huge jin. The jin is too big, straight and with a 90 degrees angle witch doesn't go with the sinuous and contorted trunk. :)
tend to agree but whilst the tree is still in development it adds interest, but I also think the sharp curve without the jin would be just as effective - its down to personal aesthetics in the though.
Well, It is hard to say. The wires and supports will stay in place as long as needed. But I expect that after one growing season I'll remove the most of it. But after two seasons for sure!
The only secret of the literati style is that it is a refuge for pretence and incompetence. The algorithm is simple: find some hopeless "material", stick it into a pot and call it expressive.

When I saw the "raw" tree i thought "what can be done with such a piece of material?" Great job, great imagination.
That is why no one wanted it :-)

Really like all your videos! I am just a bit curious. How the tree will to react to such a drastic bend? let's say 6 months after ?

Tomaz how long will you leave the wires and supports in place? Nobody wanted it, they will now.👏

If you have any trees laying around like that again you could send one my way if nobody wants it ☺️
For the right price everything can be arranged! :-)
Amazing 🥰🥰🥰👶🎄🌴🌲🌳🍁🙏🙏🙏🇳🇵

The upright part of the deadwood is too straight and long. I would cut it half way and make it more jagged.
Thanks for your opinion!
👍👌👌🙂

Really good Tree!!! But Cut the Jin😊
ya there's no secrets in literati/bunjin. But as the saying goes anyone can make a literati but not everyone can make a GOOD literati
Смешно читать комментарии об искусстве, когда сдирают кору с дерева. Очнитесь от морока, ничего красивого в ободранном дереве Нет! 🙁👎
